Pros +
- Very confortable bed and quiet location
- The check in staff were lovely. The hotel has a great location and a wonderful outdoor terrace.
- Breakfast, the staff in restaurant
Cons -
- The carpet and towels had quite a few stains
- the room was too small and no minibar or fridge
- Nothing I can think of except perhaps that there is a function room on the ground floor of the mill and I don't know how this may have affected our room from a noise point of view. We left on Saturday morning before the event that we could see being prepared.

the room was too small and no minibar or fridge
We had a super room in the old mill across the courtyard from the main hotel. The breakfast was adequate and we never had to wait for a table. We were near the end of an 18 day tour and were able to have laundry done. Almost all the hotels are a long way from the station but, like this one, only a short walk to the centre of UNESCO Quedlinburg. We use the trains and there is now an hourly day-time bus from outside the hotel to the station

Location, friendly staff and value for money
Lovely area in the Harz
The room had neither aircon nor fridge and was very small and very hot
This a small gem in the one of Germanys nicest villages. Big and comfortabel rooms, Very good beds, as always in Germany. Wifi OK Good parkingplace on the other side of the street.
Super friendly staff Good breakfast
The curtains left a bit room for light (I am fairly sensitive to light when I sleep)
Location. Parking. Breakfast and dinner in the restaurant. Staff in restaurant. Will stay there again .
Minor: Better cleaning due to dust in the room and on the furniture.
Very nice hotel, good location, parking very close, friendly staff.
We asked for gluten free bread before arriving and we were staying for 4 days, every day we had to wait 10-15 mins for the bread to be unfrozen and served.
The breakfast was wonderful, they served everything you could want. The room was charming, there were minor imperfections but that's due to the beautiful old medieval building the hotel is in. Parking was slightly expensive but was conveniently located. And the location is unbeatable. its on the quieter end of Quedlinburg city center, but walking distance to literally everything you could want to see. Very clean, cool underground bar, and staff super friendly
Parking could be a bit more affordable
Location is nice and just outside the center so easy to get with car. Decent breakfast and nice park nearby for the dog
Not for us but for people with mobility issues the walk into town is a bit difficult
Location and friendly staff
Breakfast was poor, the sauna for extra money, and overall impression - overpriced
Location perfect. Rooms and hotel good decorared.
The room had NO ventilation at all. The only option was to open a window. This is just terrible as it also gets the noise in of the street. For me no ventilation is a no go at any hotel of this class. I will not stay again ever.
perfect location, lovely terrace, friendly staff and breakfast was excellent
nothing to note
Very nice, large, private courtyard and café. Breakfast was extremely good. They provided extra pillows and blankets on request. Hotel was but a short walk to castle or market square.
There was an extra city tax to be paid at checkout that none of our other hotels asked for.
Absolutely beautiful surroundings and a very nice garden area between the hotel buildings. Easy and good car parking close to the hotel. Decent breakfast. Helpful staff!
Our room did not have any ventilation nor air condition. Upon arrival the room was super hot and no use opening the windows as they were all towards the sun. No way to cool down the room or get any fresh air in at all! Also there was a terrible smell from the bathroom (shower) drain. I talked to the front desk and they offered us another room, this room also had no ventilation or air-con, but was oriented away from the sun and had no smelly bathroom (instead the only window was directed to the main road). Both rooms were rather small, but clean and fresh (apart from the smell in the first one). If I had known there were no ventilation or air-con I would have chosen another hotel, this really is not value for money.
location is great, staff was friendly, good breakfast
The room had no AC, and it was super warm. With the windows open, it was very loud as the room overlooked a busy road. Bad nights sleep - very happy we just did one night there
Stunning old building tastefully redecorated. Good breakfast, friendly staff. Very large and comfortable room
Staff here were friendly and willing to help, but unfortunately as a disabled guest I felt that facilities and access let it down
Access to this property is limited for someone with walking difficulties, with restricted disabled parking (very narrow) some distance from the entrance and only accessible across a high cobbled driveway, which is unsuitable for someone with walking difficulties and wheelchairs let alone families travelling with small children who would find pushing a buggy difficult here. This property has recently added an additional charge for energy and food price rises of 2,50€ per night. Quests who book their stay on booking .com should be aware that on payment at the hotel this is stated as been an extra charge, on top of your booking. But rest assured this isn't because booking.com takes care of this and it is added in your overall charge and it is the reception staff who word this incorrectly inform guests that the additional charge is included in the booking price you have when booking through this site. For my stay we booked a Junior suit and feel other guests should be aware that we were in a room in the across from the main building, here rooms are next to the main road and very noisy.
