Lindenschänke

Friendly staff, even sharing the history of the hotel. Room is clean and comfort.Plenty of parking spots.

Werner the host is perfect in his role. Nothing is too much for him. He literally made my stay the best it could have ever been. The place was clean and welcoming. The coffee perfect, and the food great. What more do you need. Nobody stays in their hotel on holiday. But I could have stayed indoors and chatted with others just as simply as visiting the local sights. It's a well located hotel and I highly recommended it.

There wasn't anything I found that I didn't like. So can't put anything in that category. Everything was perfect.

Location, cleanliness, great Hosts, good breakafast

Everything was perfect

Amazing and friendly host who stayed late because we were running late;good location; clean; warm and soft beds. Recommended for a quick stop and probably even for a longer stay.

The price was very good for Germany and it was on my way

But inside really looks poor and the heating was very dosed

Kettle in the room, fridge, glass bottles of water free of charge

Shared toilet, shower

Location great. good breakfast, friendly staff, free car park

Bed not very comfortable, toilet and shower shared on the corridor

The staff was amazing and very helpful assisting the stay. The hotel is located in a beautiful place.

The hotel is located adjacent to a really busy rural highway with significant truck traffic. This made it a bit nuisance over night to fall asleep.

Not much to be honest

Waiting for one common toilet / bathroomBad smell from the surrounding fieldsNoise from the roadA very small, narrow room, just 2 metres wide

Very friendly staff. Very good price.

Although everything looks tidy, the accommodation overall makes a musty impression. The smell inside is unpleasant and not very fresh. The location is terrible with a large building site at the back and on a busy road.

Very friendly and helpful owner. Breakfast was generous and tasty. Perfectly cooked eggs

Clean and comfortable rooms with possibilities for self catering (fridge, boiler etc), although with shared bathroom and shower. Good and varied breakfast. Very nice and hospitable host. In all, a likeable stay and very good value for the money.

Bad

Dirty, Laud, Very bad Room, no Internet, Very Cold.

The staff is very friendly, the breakfast was amazing and it has a unique charm.

It’s near the main road and obviously it’s going to be a bit noisy, but that’s why exactly I stopped there , to be able to drive in Köln in the morning for a workshop.

The host was great and I like the pride he takes in his work, breakfast was nice too

If you're travelling by train it's a little bit far which might bother some people. I actually walked there (all part of the adventure!) as there's a pedestrian path all the way to the hotel. I think you can get a bus if you don't fancy a walk

the most helpful and friendly owner. He helps you with whatever you need. He cares above all about the people he hosts. Excellent and complete breakfast. Beautiful house and clean. The rooms can be made even more beautiful.

Cheap, clean and very friendly owner. Room had everything you need. Water cooker, enough lights, and a sink. Community WC and shower was on the floor as described, but only one for many rooms. It was astonishingly clean, even after waking up late. I would return.

Room was a clutter of furniture, e. g. the table was an old computer rack with wheels. It was to near the sink, so washing etc. was not very convenient. I missed a rack for putting the suitcase on top. I just stayed one night, so didn't want to unpack my suitcase. Saying all this, the room was incredible cheap, but totally OK. Showerhead needs replacement.

The host was supernice, he is learning multiple languages, which is impressive. The room was more than perfect. I only stayed 1 night, as I was travelling through the country. Location was perfect, quiet and still not too far away from the highway. I highly recommend it.

The property had all the amenities we required for our short stay there. The staff and especially Verner, he was very nice, accommodating, helpful and just generally a very pleasant man. If you want a base and a good nights sleep, then this is the place for you. However, if you want 5* luxury for the same price, then this not the place for you. ?

Nothing. It served its purpose. Basic but clean, tidy and pleasant.

The bathroom was big and new.

The beds were uncomfortable with 2 different matrasses. One of the matresses was very old and sagging.
