Pros +
- At least we had a clean bed and a warm room with a shower and toilet. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
- Clean room, good Organisation. Breakfast was good.
- Easy check-in
Cons -
- There is clearly a cartel agreement in place between hotels in the area to squeeze maximum out of customers under a pretension that there are many events in the area! The rip-off price in excess of 200 Euros with advanced booking for a no-frills super-basic former Ibis hotel is a bit too much even for Germany. Poor ventilation, sound isolation, shower in the room, very basic self-service breakfast- all cries "cheap-cheap-cheap". Location is quite remote- you need a car to reach any place to eat.
- Service/Rezeption was bored/not very supportive
- It is not yet really a B&B hotel regarding the facilities, still looking Ibis budget.

Clean room, good location
Uncomfortable bed, small room, no facilities in the room, bad design of shower, no ventilation for toilet
The only hotel employee we saw seemed polite.
Very expensive for a one-star hotel in an industrial area (109 euros, with my discount 98). There is an unpleasant smell in the room, but we did not find its source. Breakfast was bad, for this money you can get two types of cheap sausage and cheese and cold eggs from the store. Or you may not get it. We arrived 40 minutes before closing and didn’t got it, as did the family behind us. We also didn't have enough forks. I don't recommend staying here. In the area for about 40 minutes there is nothing except industrial buildings and social housing, to the center is a 2.5 hour walk, by taxi 30 minutes and about 30 euros one way. I don’t know what happened to me, why I accidentally chose this hotel, it was some kind of bad inspiration, I can’t find a rational explanation for my actions. If this hotel cost 50 euros, I would not have any complaints and any expectations for convenience. But it is disproportionately expensive for such a hole.
Affordable, close to the Kölnmesse. It was okay to sleep.
You won’t get here unless you have a car. Somehow they wanted us to pay extra when we already paid for everyone from the group.
free car park
no elevator, no hair dryer, no drinking water
The rooms were clean and fine for a one-night stay. I would not like to spend a week here since there are too few facilities. Great to stay after a concert or something like that.
Parking available. Very friendly and helpful staff member who stayed late to welcome me and make sure I was OK. Thank you.
It’s located in an industrial estate, so great for builders and men in general (which made up 99% of the guests), for a solo female traveller these kinds of hotels never feel safe.
Good value for money. Place is clean. Staff are friendly.
No re-fill for the food of the buffet breakfast.
clean and comfortable
glass separete shower with more than 4 people in the room that provided no privacy. 2nights and no room service
The brekfast was good but it was not enafe choise to eat properly
It was all good but cocomber and temato was not many of us use in the morninh, it is used with big meal
Location was ok but access difficult and impossible if you don't have car.
old hotel, the room wasn't clean so much, the second day, they dont change towels and they didnt make the beds...the pilows are thin as paper, this is a short list.....
You get what you pay for a bed and warm shower, very basic and quite cold
If you are travelling alone I wouldn’t recommend as the location is very quiet and no one is on reception after 10pm. I was a little bit scared at night.
Value for money. My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights. Bedroom space is just fine. There is an option for smoking.
Limited choices for breakfast.
Great position, ver quiet, near nature reserve and lakes - good for walks.Excellent bus connections to Hilden and Düsseldorf.Very friendly and helpful staff.
I loved the quiet location. The bed was comfortable, also the pillow, the blanket. The room was very cool when we arrived, great! Everything we needed was there, small and simple, but perfect. Check in was easy for our after midnight arrival... well-lit exterior, easy parking right at the entrance.
The shower gel was empty :(
Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Shower very good.
I would recommend some sort of protection, like a soft covering for the bunk bed, as you can easily bang your head, when you sleep on the double bed below, especially at night, when you wake up and are a bit sleepy.... Also maybe some fruit or dessert for the breakfast.
the ibis is clean, convenient, good value for money. Staff are very friendly and accommodating . no parking problems .it is in a very quiet area. Near by is a forest with great walks and runs.i like to stay here.
The staff especially the guy at the reception when we arrived was very very good. He helped us with all our questions, very calm in listening our requirements.Breakfast was nice.
Room was not cleaned the next day.
