Sure Hotel by Best Western Hilden-Düsseldorf

The location was in central downtown and very convenient.

The only down-side was that it was located right on the main through road. When the window was closed, it was quiet enough, but it was too noisy when I opened the window.Another slight down-side was the parking. Once I had checked in, everything was good and I could access convenient parking, but it was difficult to access a temporary car park during check in and before I had been told how and where I could park the car for a longer-term stay.

Online check-in/out was a fun experience. Everything went smoothly. The room was good, and we had a baby bed set up, which is always nice. The hotel is beautiful and has many parking spots. Breakfast was varied and tasty. Overall, it is a good facility, fresh and modern.

What we did not like was that after a day of driving, we came to a sign "restaurant closed." There was a restaurant right around the corner, but it would have been nice to just do it at the hotel. Also, e-charging is 25 euro a charge, and the underground garage is pretty narrow. Finally, the airco in the room makes a very strange and loud noise (like a door on card-lock opens) - made it exciting at night.

Fabulous breakfast, nice restaurant, convenient parking, close to the old town and restaurants, spacious room, friendly staff. Grab your beer and enjoy the putting green! Good for cyclists.

We liked that the room was clean, staff was nice.

We got a room facing the street, next to an busy intersection. Because of the warm weather we had to keep the windows open so it was really noisy. Also it was not clear to us that the second bed would be a 'couch bed'. In the add was written ' two beds' not one bed and one couch bed. I think this should be changed in the add, the couch bed didn't have a good matrass.

Not being able to control the temperature in our room ourselves, but when we explained it was too hot the temperature was turned down

Personel is very Nice at the reception, The rooms are Nice, comfortable, and quiet, Good WiFi, TV in every room, You can make a coffe or tea in the room, very close to the middle of the city, I recommend!?

Had booked a double bed in double standard room although I was alone but first room allocated had a single bed but the room was changed immediately. Mini bar did not work

They gave me a room which I didn’t make reservations for. When I ask to change the room and I want the room which I have been booked they said it is not possible. And I have to wait about 40 min for them to give me the room I reserved. Also they said check in is 15h and the room was ready at 17h.When you make a shover the soap from the floor come out from drain.

At the check out, with our biggest surprise. the employee of the hotel was asking to pay a tremendous amount of money for something which was not from our expenses. She presented the bills and after we told we were the whole day outside and that she can check this. and that we demand to see the signature and so on and refused to pay the dinner and drinks and so on , she went inside and found another paper where the actual consumption was from another room. For such a 4 stars hotel these mistakes shall not happen and this is so unpleasant and so irritating to have personnel with lack of training and botch their actual job without caring much . This is -3. What to do with these apologies !? It ruined our stay

Very nice reception and friendly staff both in reception and in the restaurant. I had a Nice Big room. Good shower. Nice seatingarea for eating breakfast and Dinner. Good creme brulee for dessert.

My room on the 3rd floor was pretty warm and not very well ventilated before my arrival. Breakfast room for the food is way too small and people are standing in Line just because of not enough room to move around. Only vegetarian dish for Dinner was soaked in oil.

Excellent hotel, clean, spacious, excellent services, very central location.

In my opinion parking is too expensive.

The location is unbeatable.

Rooms are a bit dates. No amenities in the room, not even a kettle to boil water. Although most times, the front desk is helpful, there was an instance we were spoken to in a condescending manner.

Great staff support, very kind and orientated on customers. Very clean room and very well equipped. I recommend this hotel even that furniture in room are like from 1970th.

The hotel is clean in a decent location closed to a highway.

I was overcharged for the minibar. There was a piece of paper in the room on which you note every single article you take from the minibar. I’ve noted everything and the total was 19,50 EUR. By checkout I gave this card to the receptionist and was charged over 45 EUR for the minibar, which I noticed later (total scam). Besides this place in no way meets the standards of a 4 star hotel. There is no iron in the room (after you beg the receptionist maybe he will bring it to you and maybe will be sorry to inform he doesn’t have any iron left). They charge 4,50 EUR for a bottle of water, which is ridiculous. The room is old and worn down. There were very loud conversations just below my room, so I couldn’t sleep when I wanted.Normally I don’t complain to almost anything and rarely give a hotel less than 10 points but this hotel with this attitude ripping off the customers on minibar needs a serious update.
