Extra payment of 70 Euro I did not expect. The communication with the host was difficult, so I'm not sure what the payment was for.

The property was fine. There’s not much to it besides a bar and restaurant on the bottom floor, but it wasn’t open any of the times we went by it.

There was a stink bug that crawled onto my hand from under my pillow. The beds were just okay and the room never really got warm.

There was no reception. I tried calling the number provided but nobody answered. The shower was tiny and the shower head is a hand shower that only points at the wall. The beds are small and squeaky.

We've stayed twice here. Excellent location, right by the autobahn. Staff very helpful. Good, comfortable beds. Quiet at night. Great value for money. Strong, reliable WiFi. Nice, large bathroom with hot water shower. One of few hotels in the area that offers apartments that can accommodate a 4 people family without being divided into two separate rooms.

Not enough lighting in the room. The bedside lamp had no bulb and cooker hood light wouldn't work either. So it's either the ceiling light or nothing. Couldn't get the TV to show any channels, not sure if it was receiving anything at all. Also you need to fit some hooks or a rail in the bathroom so there's somewhere to hang wet towels.

Staff was ver helpful. It did what it said on the can. 3 minute to tram. You can take tram to nearby restaurants.

The hotel got mixed reviews. It was my second stay here. Is it so bad ? Not at all, rooms modern, good wifi, TV works well, nothing to complain at all. And it was good value for money. The building looked empty, a bit run-down, restaurant closed on a wednesday when I arrived. I had messaged them my arrival time but had to call the owner, who arrived quickly in 15 minutes. Tram 102 to Oberduempten goes to the hotel every 15 minutes , at sunday or evenings less frequent, Last tram at 11 pm after that only a few night buses. Bakery opposite the hotel, but overpriced.

The hotel rejected us because there were no rooms available, but to this day the hotel has not refunded my amount.

Spring beds, noise

Clean, half hour driving distance to Düsseldorf, good value to money

Close to the A40 motorway, comfortable room with shower and toilet.

Location is quite noisy and the windows don't block the noise at all.

Hotel staff told me to contact Booking.com; Booking.com said I had to pay in full unless the hotel agreed to cancel my booking - which they haven’t. So I paid in full for a room I was not able to use because I was due to arrive at the terribly late hour of 22:15.I have used Booking.com for over 10 years but will not do so again, based on this experience.

It was near the train. And for one night perfect. We had everything we needed.

Under the bed was an old tissue and at the night stand a chewing gum.

The location is perfect, very good value for a basic accomodation.

The reception is not open 24/7, the house is a little older and had some construction (not problematic but noticeable). It is being worked on. Kitchen/restaurant is closed so no option to get breakfast yet.

Cheap cheerful and clean. They gave us a kettle and cups, no cooking facilities which was expected. Good neighborhood

Lacks a cafe, bar or restaurant for breakfast and evening meal, there used to be one, must have been a good budget place to stay
