In a 5 days stay, they never cleaned the room, even when requested.

Breakfast is good, and the staff are very friendly. However, the Breakfast seating area is small and wasn't enough to accommodate everyone, so we had to sit in the bar area to eat, which was okay but not easy with a kid.

I highly recommend this hotel. It is very clean, has a great location and a very good breakfast.

only one English channel on TV, no Polish channels at all and no option to "screen mirroring" the phone with the TV.

The lift entry to the hotel lacked security.

Good location for us for Essen motor. Liked the underground carpark.

TV was very slow to respond and was not used in the end. QR code for the garage was always not working. More notices for breakfast - we missed Monday as we misheard and thought it was 11am finish.

I liked the location, the friendly staff, that the breakfast had a few vegan options, the comfy bed, the water kettle and the cleanliness. The possibility to open the windows.

the air conditioning/heating that couldnt be turned off completely. Luckily I could open the windows but the dry air was still too much for me. After three night I was relieved to leave and be able to breath and sleep better at night again. One night would have been okay but 3 were just too much. Thats the only reason I would not happily opt to stay again. Other than that I would recommend it.

Convenient location with parking option in the same building. Room was spacious, clean and shower was working properly. Breakfast is absolutely fine with many choices.

Stayed 4 nights, housekeeping never cleaned my room or my colleague's. Maybe it's the hotel policy that they clean they rooms only when a guest is checking out.

Clean rooms, comfortable beds, very quiet. Good German breakfast.

At night when the ventilation is turned off the room fills with odours from the sewage. Luckily you can open the window.

The room is spacious and with half an hour we were at Messe Essen for Spiel. The hotel lobby also provided great oppertunities to meet people and play the boardgames that were just pruchased.

The bed cushions had lumps in them that made sleeping uncomfortable for our necks.

Very comfortable. My family was happy with the comfort. The breakfast was delicious and varied with the opportunity to drink natural juice and delicious coffee with a croissant.

It was newly built, so the place was generally neat and clean. During the stay, we experienced heat wave and the air-con in the room worked very well without any noise. The quality of breakfast spread was good. There was Ikrom at the reception who would try for better at all things whenever he was on duty.

Stayed here for 10days for work, so we've experienced both good and bad. Firstly, housekeeping is an on-demand service, which means you have to ask for it beforehand. The usual signage on the door does not work, and you must go to the reception, preferably in the morning, to ask for the housekeeping. Otherwise, you are stuck with your own mess and the night shifts do not deal with customers' requests properly. Secondly, some of the housekeepers have a weird sense of cleaning rituals, as there was a toilet brush left in the toilet basin not once but twice. Isn't it normal to complain in this situation? The receptionist came up to the room to check the situation(also there was no sign of cleaning anything). He instantly solved the problem by asking me to put the toilet brush back to where it belonged. I obviously refused to touch anything and requested to clean the room again which did not happend until the following week, because they do not offer the housekeeping on sundays as I was told. Thirdly, I am all up for the environmental-friendly approaches, but my experience in this hotel was quite extreme as I had to suffer 10days in a small room without ever vacuuming the carpet floor. I wish they would just let us, the guests, have the vacuum cleaners and clean the room for ourselves.

City center. Good parking facility. Breakfast.

Expensive. 25€ extra per day for small dog and 12€ extra for parking.

Location is formidable, with parking garage underneath. Staff is friendly, breakfast is fine.

No minibar available, airconditioning was troublesome.
