Amman Orchid Hotel

The only thing I liked was the staff; the people working there tried their best to help me, but the place itself is old.

The hotel, first of all, does not resemble the photos at all — so what is its real location? There is a clear difference between the pictures and the actual place. Secondly, the hotel is very old and needs a complete renovation from the inside. No matter how many workers you bring or what cleaning tools you use, it will never look clean because the place is fundamentally old and worn out, and it is not worth the amount paid for it.Additionally, the breakfast is extremely poor — very, very low quality — and it does not match the price that was paid

Nice & warm.. would like to mention that the staff were incredibly nice friendly and helpful would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Issa Hamad Chef Marwa Ayoub Kayed Mohamad Hussein and all staff. I felt i was home❤️ and would return definitely God willing

The host and the personnel are nice and helpful

The bedding was not clean. It was not changed and there are evidence of hair on the sheets and pillows.

The location is excellent and conveniently close to all facilities, just 1 km from Gardens Street, one of Amman’s most vibrant areas. The staff were very kind and helpful, especially Issa Al-Abbadi.

Cleanliness, lack of maintenance

Location, taxi availability, comfort beds.

Smokere everywhere, even in no smoking marked areas. Hotel staff did not stop anyone from smoking even in breakfast area. People were smoking even in front of kids. Elevators also stink with smoking smell.

I do not recommend

Dirty. Terrible breakfast. I left a pair of boots and they never called me to let know. Last day, the cleaning staff knocked and said check-in was at 11 but it was 12. They only wanted to clean. They made me lose the last breakfast. The location is bad as well.

Cleaning, the room furnished with old furniture and the carpet was burnt at many places from previous smokers and one of the towels was not clean, breakfast is not organized well, for example lemon was not available although beans was available and it needs lemon٬ plates were not organized, no table covers was available…etc

The breakfast was poor, with very limited options and low quality food, and the hotel’s location was inconvenient, far from main attractions and not easily accessible

I didn’t like the hotel facilities, as they were poorly maintained and not very clean. Additionally, the breakfast options were limited and of low quality, and the location was not very convenient.

The staff were very welcoming ,kind and helpful especially Issa was so nice and cooperative .Rooms were clean

The hotel is very old, and so are the facilities.The bathroom lacked shine, and the walls gave the impression of not being clean.It was also inconvenient that the room faced the main street, which was noisy.

more towels would make a difference and better soap and shampoo.

House keeping service was very poor. The room was dirty, bathroom was very dirty and no toiletries were there. We booked for 3 person but they provided us 2 towels. When I asked the housekeeper, he denied to provide an additional towel. I informed front desk next morning and when the towel was not provided, I again informed the reception in the evening. Till the next morning when I complained about the towel, dirty bathroom, then a housekeeper came to clean the bathroom. The breakfast option was limited and some of the item was finished. They took more than 30 minute to replace those item.

Poor cleanliness, lot of noise from vehicles on the main road through the night. We couldn't sleep at night because of the vehicle sound. The housekeeping staff was not professional.

The hotel is conveniently situated on the main road, with a coffee shop, souvenir store, and hair salon close by. Parking was hassle-free. The complimentary breakfast was tasty, and free Wi-Fi was available. The room was spacious, and the view was awesome.

The elevators were quite small and slow. Loud music was being played in the restaurant, which was very annoying.
