BRISTOL Hotel Bad Kissingen

Staff very friendly, very good breakfast and the location is great. The room had a balcony with a beautiful view.

Old hotel, the carpet smelled old, good for short stays.

Location was fantastic - overlooking the Rosengarten!The great breakfast was delicious!

The bathrooms in our room was very small.

Small bathroom. No place to hang the towels, Something in the room caused me an intense itching or skin rash with a terrible scratch ( Dust? Bedbugs? ). The floor was carpet not ceramic or wood, so it’s possible to be infested by all kinds of bugs. I asked for no smoking room, but the room was smelling.

Great location, very friendly staff, big room with balcony, rich breakfast buffet.

The pillow was a bit too soft for me, but the bed was overall big and cozy.

We arrived in the early evening, and we had our dogs with us.. we got a room with an extra room added to ours and it was very good for us because the dogs had good space.. As ususally we allways cover all furnitures with own sheets and we use to have several dogcarpets as well. The dogs feel save with that and the space was good. And we feel that we helped the staff, and especially the cleaners, with our covering procedures... when we keep the room cleaner that way. Our dogs may not sleep in our beds ... We are also happy that the hotel had a floor of wood.. not covered with carpet.. We like when it is clean and washed.. (we do not like carpet floors)..The hotel is a little old, but the nice staff and the rooms size and a big breakfast were a good compensation.We had also an own closed parkingplace, behind the building, and that get extra points from us.The staff was helpful to phone to the close restaurant, asked for to keep it open little longer, because we needed to eat a dinner after a long journey. Everything went well and we are thankful.

The staff was very knowledgeable, very helpful to answer any questions! The breakfast was fabulous- there was something for everybody. The Brötchen were delicious and so fresh - everything was served with a smile!?!

Not too much parking spaces . But the view of the City and especially of the Rosengarten made up for so many things!!

The location right next to the Rosengarten is the best you can get in all of Bad Kissingen for the start of your day! The staff is very nice and helpful. You have to walk a bit to the different restaurants, but with all the beautiful more than hundred year old building and the parks it is pretty relaxing atmosphere!

Breakfast was poor. No service. Hotel need new management.

Location was great. Close to everything and nice views.Breakfast was good.

Carpet on the stairs was filthy.Building could do with some paint.Furniture in the room was old and dated.Pool is not open. The place doesn't look anything like the photos.

The room was a bit stuffy but as soon as balcony door was open it was fine.

The buffet breakfast was sumptuous and the location was ideal. I liked my personal coffee pot and hot milk. The croissants for afternoon enjoyment was a nice touch. Walking distance to the important core.

First impressions are important. The exterior was unkempt (cob webs and grime on the window sills). Considering the hotel is on prime property (directly across the street from the pristine gardens) it was a jarring and surprising contrast. With no air conditioning nor fans getting to sleep was difficult as it was uncomfortably warm. Only one window opened for ventilation which was outside of the sleeping quarters. The bathroom floor always got wet during showering. No coffee maker or fridge in the room. No coffee provided, only teas, in the foyer. This was a better room than what I had been originally assigned. That room was unacceptable: one glance revealed stains on the carpet, broken mirror, rust stains on the bath surround, so I asked for a room change. At first they said none was available until the eve of checkout. I insisted and they graciously offered the one I accepted. All staff were pleasant and tried to be helpful.

Hotel in an excellent position overlooking the river and the rose garden. My room was large and the balcony had a wonderful view. Comfortable bed, excellent shower. Extremely good breakfast in spacious surroundings. Plentiful choice of hot and cold food with fresh fruit. I would certainly stay at the Bristol Hotel again.

The hotel corridors and stairs were in need of new carpeting, also in my room.

Very large room, but please add a couch and maybe improve on the wardrobe.I thought I booked a better category as in "view to the city" and not towards the backyard, but the (huge) house was probably simply well booked the days, as breakfast attentance showed, so no complaints here. Any time again soon, the unique location and moderate pricing blend together well.

lovely hotel with great location to walk on foot to the city center. had a small balcony with view to the river. Breakfast was good and the hotel surroundings are lovely. would highly recommend

It would be a bonus for the hotel to have a small spa, sauna, swimming pool..

Very friendly staff and very accommodating if you need to check out very early. Very friendly. Big room with balcony and bathtub. Good value.

booking said parking provied, this is not truth. Parking was possible only on public parking places closest was about 300m Pictures of rooms from advertising were not evn close to reality. Instead of well modern picture of room we got old worn out everything decades old. On room 537 was incredibe smell. We could not get rid of it even with many hours of ventilation. Personal of hotel was good and tried to eliminate these hudge faults of this place.

Very nice old-fashioned hotel with the soul of a spa town. It's in a great location with outstanding views from the windows. Very nice breakfast.

Hotel needs a renovation. No guarantee for a parking place.
