Pros +
- The room was spacious with a modern aesthetic and great features. The bathroom was especially nice, although a shower shelf of some sort would be helpful. Also, the breakfast was excellent with an above-average selection.
- The food, the room, the staff, the location and thr atmosphere was hands down the best.
- We enjoyed a lot in our stay at Cavallestro Deluxe. The room was very clean and big enough for a family. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. We had wonderful breakfast. The location of the hotel was very quiet and nice area.
Cons -
- It was a little confusing finding the hotel building/check in.
- The breakfast area is clearly to small for a hotel of this size - and that's with an option to sit outside, which was possible when I was there, but will not always be so in view of weather conditions. I was lucky, but others guests weren't.The hotel sent a message via Booking saying that the road configuration has recently changed, that the signs are not yet up to date, and how to get to the hotel following a temporary rerouting sign. A very nice service, except that the message did not specify to which direction towards the hotel it applied, so I could not make any sense of it beforehand. It turned out that it did apply to from where I was coming, but I did not spot the mentioned rerouting sign anywhere and I ended up making a considerable detour for no good reason at all.Upon arrival, finding the reception was a bit tricky. I did spot it initially, but as there was no free parking space next to it, I had to drive on and park behind a large building that carries the hotel name Cavalestro in huge letters (also included in the pictures on Booking). This makes one think that the reception will be there, but it isn't. Even more confusing: the building that does house the Cavalestro reception carries different name tag!
- Couldn’t work out the heating to cool the room or put the electric blind down

Very friendly staff. There was nothing to complain about the room (except that I found the matrass a bit hard, but others might prefer it exactly like this).

Friendly staff and great room. Modern with a resturant and good breakfast
Couldn’t work out the heating to cool the room or put the electric blind down
The place is easy to find close to the highway so was perfect for us during our stay. The location is new and nice, with horses around! The apartment was very comfortable and very spacious. Our pets were welcome too and were very calm there.Breakfast was very good!
We stayed only one night and could not find anything wrong
Modern, clean and comfortable Nice vibes and decorWonderful breakfastFree and convenient parking Good restaurant/s within walking distance
Nothing much apart from the supply of drinking water . Only 1 small glass bottle of water is given and there are no supermarkets in the vicinity. For the price that the hotel charges, adequate daily supply of water should be given.
We loved the breakfast! My wife loves horses, so the nearby stables were perfect. We thought the beds were really comfortable.
Despite the warm weather, the air conditioner did not turn on during our first several days. We checked in late and it took us a while to realize we needed to leave the room key in the "slot". The doors on the stairs were *really* heavy.
This was my second stay in Cavallestro this year. This is a great place to stay on a car trip across Germany/Europe. Apart from a comfy and quiet hoteI, I especially enjoyed the forest around for a walk with my dog and the burger restaurant in the compound. This is becoming our favourite stay-over place on our road trips between NL and AT.
Everything was fine. The only minor disturbance are the mosquitoes around the restaurant :-)
Very convenient location - close to the motorway and high-speed EV chargers. Lovely and peaceful environment. Will definitely stay again.
This hidden gem is a must stay if you’re in the Kitzingen area overnight! The place is spotless, the rooms huge and the service impeccable. Returned to Kitzingen for my first visit in 50 years, I was thoroughly impressed with Cavallestro and have it bookmarked for all future visits.
Pillows were a little awkward in size.
Nice size rooms with minimal decoration. 2 good restaurants on site. Next to a big forest.
Air-conditioning blows into your face when you are in bed. There are lots of mosquitos and wasps around but no mosquito nets. 3rd bed wasn't comfy.
Quiet location with two eateries, one restaurant on site and one pub 1-2 min walk away. Location just 10 min drive from downtown Kitzingen. Large room in the “Deluxe” section of hotel. Dinner at Gallo Pardo excellent. Staff was great both at reception desk and in restaurant.
Nothing. Everything was great!
Quite, great to retreat as is in nature. Still only 5 minutes from the downtown by car. Staff friendly and helpful.
The bed I found uncomfortable. Two separate mattress in double bed, each of them higher in the middle so rolling off was little bit of an issue.
High quality new 4* hotel built in former US army base. Spacious well built room, with terrace and large bathroom. Very good restaurant with local and Italian dishes, nice service. A lot of EV chargers and parking spaces.
EV charger time fee is not convenient when staying overnight.
clean, kitthen is very well equipped and breakfast is excellent
They need to provide sofa. They also need to replace the sitting chair . The chair is very bad and not comfortable
The room is spacious. The bathroom is also big and well ventilated. The breakfast is excellent (you can order warm meals that are made in front of you - we had eggs with bacon and buttermilk pancakes). The sauna is also great (one 60° and one 90°C!). The evening meals at the Gallo Pardo were also very delicious and the atmosphere is great. Overall we were very very happy with the stay! We were thinking of booking a more affordable stay at a smaller venue, but the prices here were very reasonable. For only 25 euro more per person we had so much more comfort than at a simple guest house!
The only thing that I didn't like and I realise this is a highly personal preference, were the pillows (the typical 80 by 80 cm German pillows that I never understood the appeal of). I usually take my own pillow on trips but this time we were travelling light.
modern design, very clean and nice. excellent options for breakfast, staff is professional and open for any kind of questions.woodland in restaurant is also great option for dinner in the evening.
coldness in the rooms. maybe some carpet on the floor to increase cosiness. pillows very big (I personally prefer smaller ones)
Great food, excellent staff, it was cozy and climatic. A huge kudos for serving breakfasts so early!
The location might be a struggle if you don’t have a car and also the WiFi quality wouldn’t be sufficient to work from there all day.
Large suite very clean. And a warm welcome. The bath is awesome
The bed was strange soft at first and then hard. The room is a bit outdated.
