Very modern and food was brilliant. Rooms were very nice, all the staff were very friendly.

No air conditioning in the room and it was far too hot to sleep.

Pleasant stay in Bad MergentheimWe recently stayed at Das Schaffers hotel in Bad Mergentheim and were quite pleased with our experience. The room was perfect, featuring a small balcony that added a nice touch to our stay.The hotel's location is just a 10-minute walk to the city center, making it easy to explore the area. Additionally, the open parking provided was very convenient and made it easy to manage our car, just remember to pre-book ?The breakfast was satisfactory, offering a decent selection to start the day.Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel for its comfortable rooms and convenient location.

The staff was very friendly and would help wherever they could. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The mattress in the bed was probably the best I've ever slept on.

We were directed to see the Gardens first, which made us late for the Castle, therefore we were not able to do the Castle Tour. We felt the Hotel Receptionist should have known there was a time limit on seeing the Castle, and might have informed us, when we asked, to go there first.

Lovely breakfast. Great food from local suppliers or sustainable/fair trade sources. Comfy, quiet, clean and spaceous rooms. Free sauna area. Very friendly staff. Nice atmosphere.

I found the hotel to be ideal for my visit to the Keep It True festival. The hotel is very clean and modern. The staff had perfect English, which is always appreciated. The breakfast was perfect for me with a very good choice of food. The hotel is on a nice quiet street but only a small walk away from the train station and the centre of town.

Our room was modern, spacious and clean. In the hotel restaurant we had excellent evening meal and breakfast during our overnight stay. Location is perfect; Bad Mergentheim city centre is close, but the hotel is situated in a quiet street. Parking in the hotel parking lot.

Fantastic restaurant. Don’t miss eating here, it’s so much better than the tourist restaurants in town and is full of locals as well as guests.

lovely hotel in great location (quiet road only 5 mins walk to the old town, castle and gardens). Our room was perfect for three people - large and comfortable: it was really warm at night as no AC but we were there in a heatwave. Parking for around 10 cars and plenty of roadside parking. Everyone was really friendly at the hotel and the breakfast was excellent with tables outside overlooking woodland. would definitely recommend this hotel - thank you for a great stay.

Very personal experience, very welcoming staff and pre-visit communication with the owners. Nice wellness zone. Good starting point for bycicle tours or visiting the city of Bad Mergentheim.

The waste bin in our room hadn't been emptied prior to our arrival, other than that the room appeared to be clean. It could have rained a bit less during our visit, glad we could take advantage of the Sauna in the afternoon... ;-)

No AC

Modern interior, great restaurant on site, very friendly staff, small gestures of hospitality, comfortable distance to the center, wonderful breakfast. 8 dedicated parking spots plus 2 for electric cars (if I counted correctly), and street parking free over the weekend.

TV remote in my room didn't work. I entered a cold room with an open window and a switched-off heating. The shower cabin doors are a bit difficult to handle (even though the idea is nice to be able to fold them for a bigger entry).

An excellent and very well run hotel. Very good food and an excellent choice at the breakfast buffet. Everything was spotlessly clean. The staff were all charming and helpful.

I wish the curtains offered more privacy. I didn't realize there was a complete privacy screen until my last day.
