Hotel Munten

I found it a decent place, a small hotel over a restaurant (so, the reception is at the bar). I did not have time to dine there or have breakfast but the bar looks nice. The staff is very, very nice and helpful. They changed the room for me at my request as there was a horrible noise on the side of the street from occasional funfair which invaded Weert... My room was spacious, the bathroom, too. Comfortable beds. A cattle to make tea in the room. All quite simple but sufficient.

It would be good to change the worn-out curtains. And mend the window which was not hermetic.

Complimentary was fab, the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Wished I’d had dinner there, it looked great!

Couldn’t find a staff member when I arrived/when I needed a hand with the wifi. I would have loved to have a plug, so I could have had a bath!

The staff were so lovely and accommodating! We arrived late and we were able to eat in the restaurant, the food was really, really good! The breakfast the following morning was really lovely, and again the staff were super helpful!

The rooms are slightly older and not as modern as some hotels, but the food and the staff made up for this, and the bed was really comfortable!

top notch service. the room was perfectly clean. i always pay attention to the bathroom and it was perfectly clean. the cozy, atmospheric restaurant where breakfast is served creates a special mood. it is a special kind of aesthetic pleasure and impeccable style. i could not stop. the pastries were simply amazingly delicious. the staff is friendly and ready to satisfy any of your requests.

The room, the toilet and the breakfast were not at 4 starts hotel standard.

The location is excellent and especially the breakfast staff (Eva!) was superb.

It’s 2024. I’ve not had Wi-Fi this terrible in decades. Also, the first two nights I slept in a bed that was way too small. It was advertised as a twin but was barely 2 1/2 feet wide. We were moved into a different room eventually but I kind of felt that I was seen as difficult for wanting a bed that was wide enough.

The room needed updating. There was a rip in the carpet and generally the room was tired looking

There are individual mattresses for a double bed. One big would be more comfortable

Very clean, excellent location, very friendly and professional staff, food is amazing.We have done several hotels in Weert over the years, first time De Munten, which from now on is our preferred hotel.

Bed was extremely soft that it became a bit uncomfortable.

Exceptionally friendly staff and wonderful food in the restaurant. Also has pleasant secluded garden area.

Superfriendly and serviceminded personell. Loved the breakfast. Beautyful lunch and dinner area in addition to a lovely backyard available for drinks and meet ups.

Just a matter of personal likes - I prefer shower not bathtub

Superb location for Poppodium De Bosuil. The Hotel was Fantastic, staff were very warm, friendly & accommodating. Fabulous Garden Area for relaxing with a drink. Very clean & tidy. Superb breakfast too. We Would highly recommend this Hotel.

I enjoyed my stay here. My room was comfortable and the reception was welcoming. The hotel has a hospitable atmosphere and serves excellent wine and food.
