- Fantastic location! Good Breakfast, wonderful view!
- Very tranquil place and magnificent staff.
- What a great place and the views were spectacular. After a problem with the TV, they upgraded us to a better room, thanks again for the hospitality.Really close to all the sites and there was a lot to see.Breakfast was great but, get there early.
Cons -
- Needs updating overall.
- The bathroom had a sewage smell and it was full of mold. Everything in the room was old and painted over. All the rooms are next to the pool and it can get noisy in the evening/morning. We didn't expect to use the pool, but didn't expect it to be so dirty either: it even had plastic bottle caps floating around.
- Pool area without loungers, grass uncut, very expensive 7.5 Euro beers, overpriced buffet, poor breakfast, instant coffee, no bread just flatbread, tv not able to use for Netflix, small room. Pretty ugly hotel, overall. Very aged dining facilities. Sign in in buffet area stating a charge of 50 Lira for tea and coffee...

Very near Mt Nemrut site! Rustic but all the options are rustic. Excellent breakfast and dinners!
Great location and good selection of dishes at the bufet.

Location, views, pool, very nice person for check-in, good Internet

The location is very good. It's close to the national park. Breakfast is not bad.
There is septic / drain smell in the bathroom. The room will smell bad if you don't close the door of the bathroom. Also, the shower leaks... It's not pleasant that the whole bathroom is wet after the shower. There's one night that I have to shower with cold water.
The room had everything we needed and was clean and modern. The building was beautiful and the breakfast restaurant area had a terrace which overlooked a mountain valley.
The shower wasn’t the greatest but we were up in a remote mountain area so nothing unexpected.
If you want to visit Mount Nemrut either sunrise or sunset. This is the best choice. Good breakfast and dinner too.
You might come across a large tour group having dinner at the same time, which could make things a bit inconvenient.
Staying the mountain was good . Hotel is ok with very basic facilities . Staff was helpful and friendly
Showers was not working properly . Mixer for water heating was soiled . Should have checked before issuing the room .
The people were wonderful and helpful. Location great. Foor plentiful, varied, aand delicious. Mr. Memet, the General Manager helped us enormously with transit to and from Mount Numrud and continuing our trip.
Breakfast was great, and we asked for the set Dinner which was also good. As I was leaving later the next day stayed for lunch. So glad I did, had lunch out on the patio area overlooking the valley all to my self. The hotel staff also drove us to the airport (for a reasonable fee).
Remote from anything, so I wouldn’t plan to stay for more than a couple of days unless you have a car.
Very nice place in the Old city walking distance to castle copper marked Old moske and lot of nice place to eat. Hotel staff very friendly and healpsom . Parking was a bit challange and i succest you to park beat castle and Call the hotel and they will come to help you
When visiting Nemrut, this hotel is more or less the only one you can choose close to the mountain. And given their priviledged location, the get most of the overnight tourists, regardless of the fact that the hotel itself is bad. So make the best out of it and try to be in the dining room before or after the many tourist groups attack the buffet!
Staff is not very attentive, they prefer to chat, smoke or play with their cellphones instead of taking care of the customers who pay them. Pool, gardens and environment could need cleaning / removal of garbage. Food is the same every day, we had the same chicken with rice for three nights. Room service has to be asked for and when you do, then they tell you to remove all your valuables from the room. So they do not even trust their emplyees, some of them Syrian refugees.
Wifi was good and room was clean
It was hard to check out. Nobody at the desk. Asked many people at the restaurant but nobody was actaully willing to check me out. I just had to drop a key. That's it. I check out but it was a strange hassle to do this easy process of dropping a key.
The location to nemrut is perfect. The buffet dinner was good and suitable for vegetarians. The pool was pleasant. Restaurant staff were really friendly and helpful. There is a nice terrace with amazing views.
My bed was very hard (I wouldn’t usually comment) although my husband and daughters were ok. The reception staff were not the most welcoming but then staff in restaurant made up for this and generally the stay was fine with a basic but clean room.
Location is perfect. The pool has amazing refreshing water. Would come again.
The dinner could have more variaty of food
The location is what really makes Hotel Euphrat special -- a peaceful mountain view, starry night sky, quiet at night, and only a 20-minute drive to Mt. Nemrut. The bedrooms were spotlessly clean (thank you!), and the showers had wonderfully hot water. The dinner buffet was very flavorful and had good vegetarian options. We also appreciated the staff adding an extra room to our booking at the last minute.
The customer service left a little to be desired. When we made the booking we were excited about the pool advertised; we even called ahead the day of and requested that the pool be cleaned. However, when we arrived, it was scummy and filled with leaves. We asked several more times for the pool to be cleaned before it finally was. When we asked about the wifi password, the concierge shrugged and said "it's not working around here." We asked if it was being fixed but were told it wasn't working anywhere in the area. Several hours later, though, we were told the staff had "turned on all the networks" which implied it hadn't been an issue with the mountains but rather with employee choice. We then had to ask twice before a broken fridge was replaced. I realize these may reflect cultural differences in communication, but it was frustrating to have to beg for advertised amenities. The rooms' A/C units weren't very strong, which was difficult for some of us in the heat of summer. The hotel also experienced issues with their credit card machine.
Location near Nemrut Dagi is. superb. The pool is large and cold! The diner buffet was really goog. Check out is at 11.30Sp we had plenty for time for breakfast and a swim. We really loved the place
The location was ok.
Days before we arrived to this hotel, I called them and asked about how we can see sunrise and sunset at Mount Nemrut as we didn’t have a car. They mentioned we can rent a transport for 1800 TL and unless there are other people who wants to share the transport, this amount will be divided into two. It was good to know the options and I mentioned we are only into being added to other groups due to cost concerns. They said there are many groups and we will figure this out. As I’m warned about such vague answers that leads to tourist traps and I need a certain answer, I asked the same thing in the check in day, I got the same response “please just come here, we will figure something out “ Finally we checked in and guess what? They said there s no group so we have to rent their transport. I feel frustrated and cheated. My friend also asked about the closest grocery store to buy cigarettes, they said the closest one is 20 km away but we can buy from them. Later on, we learnt there s a store in 15 minutes walking distance. This place had no understanding of hospitality, they only want yo rip you off as much as they can. I don’t recommend them to anyone.
