Pros +
- Was very small. Got the twin room. So I guess we didn’t expect too much. Too bright.
- Nice bed and pillow, location and appearance of hotel are good
- It was an average 4* hotel, booked for the location
Cons -
- Weak internet Really didn’t work at all. Service was terrible too
- Bad shower with broken light, water damage on sealing, broken showerhead holder and mold on the shower corners. As I arrived later on in the evening (18.00) there was no maintenance staff available to at least fix the shower light so there was light in the shower.
- Breakfast was over priced for the amount of items they have on the buffet. Had to ask for decafe coffee as none in the machine. It's not the same standard as our usual La Dolce in La Hulpe, but booked for it's location & the price being slightly cheaper for this trip.

Well located, convenient to battle sites, provided you have a car. Easy on-site parking. Very attractive and comfortable. Impressive dining room and good breakfast.Nice staff
Hote is easy to find, but the sign needs to be more prominent. It is hard to see from the road in time to turn in.
Seems newly redone, nice room (although expensive), very good dinner, good tub and ac.
It s bit out of the way of the center of Waterloo, needs a gym,
Most of the staff was friendly, especially the woman that checked us in and the bartender. The hotel has a good location.
Our room keys stopped working during our stay. A few staff members seemed to be frustrated because of the language barrier. The breakfast was good and had a lot of options, however both of our dinners were not great.
Very nice hotel, beautiful restaurant and the staff is extremely helpful. The shower is absolutely enjoyable!
Beds are too soft.
Good sizes room. Stay was uneventful. which is OK
Small but important point - Staff shoud be trained to give clear directions to our ground level room. It was complicated and involved wheeling the suitcases thru the restaurant! No noticeable signage at any point.
Hallways and corridors were not air conditioned. Using thermostat was confusing and room was hot when we arrived. Patio/courtyard with outdoor seating and dining was nice but it was made of raw wood and there were termites flying all over the place and it made it quite uncomfortable. We changed tables but it was still an issue at the other table as the termite nests must be under the raw wood decking.
Termites in the courtyard/bugs YUCK!Hot hallways and room
What a lovely place, the girls on reception could not fault them, sorted out some calls out for us as we couldn't speak the language. Evening and breakfast fantastic.
Upgraded rooms, great breakfast buffet with lots of variety and inviting exterior bar area.
Great location restaurant was very good parking and room was great
Comfortable room
Staff especially at breakfast distant and not engaging. Too much building work going on and not seperated
All the staff was extremely helpful and friendly! It was very clean!
There was a wedding the weekend we were there and the wedding guests, instead of going to their designated area, which was the outside bar, took over the lobby bar, and regular hotel guests could sit or order drinks. The staff never made it clear to the wedding party to go to the other area.
Very little to like, only the physical appearance of the renovated building (previously a sugar processing place) was atractive was attractive enough, but there it stopped.
The quality of service was on several levels inadequate. The summarize: I checked in with my spouse (i.e two people). Entering the neat room, there was only one towel in the bath room. I went the reception to ask for two large bath towels, several smaller hand towels, and a towel to put on the floor. After about three hours nothing had delivered to the room. The lady at the reception gave me one extra towel. I said this was not enough and that all I had requested earlier should be brought into the room. Several hours later, at the time we planned to go to bed (about 10 pm) nothing was delivered to the room. I went to the reception, I was given only two towels and was told that I could take to my room. I demanded more: finally the receptionist gave me the needed towels; I carried the needed towels to the room to room myself. I have a number of other complaints, The AC in the room did not work, The shower floor when wet is dangerously slippery, and can cause serious injuries. The service at dinner in the hotels restaurant was incompetent. We ordered aperatifs and wine for the main course. The service was very slow, 20 minutes before we had any food on the table. Then, I we had 4 glasses on the table well before the main course. I had the white wine taken back to the refrigerator for staying chilled. At checking out next moring, I had to wait more than 15-20 minutes, I finally interupted a long not business-related discussion. Overall the service was bad, incompetent and of inadequate quality. In more fifty years of international traveling, this was for me the worst experience.
Check-in ok, location ok. Didn't try the bar or the restaurant, but they seems ok as coworker who stayed there before said.
I got the room 17, which is right above the entrance of the second building, so the automatic doors were not pleasant to hear late in the night and early in the morning. Room was noisy, I could hear the noises from outside quite a lot. Also, the AC in the room was not heating, probably because of the season, but luckily, it wasn't that cold at night.
The hotel was fabulous. Staff were amazing, and Barbara on reception went out of her way to ensure our early check-in. A lovely lady, and so helpful. The food in the restaurant was outstanding and we can not recommend it enough.
The location was convenient to travel throughout belgium. The staff were really lovely and we'd definitely come again. The rooms are a little basic but the showers are 100% amazing and thats what we needed! [We didnt take the breakfast so cant comment on that]
the one element that could have been better, when paying 20EUR p/night for a dog fee, it would have been good to have had a water bowl or a mat or doggie treats in the room for the dog. There wasnt anything so please take all of your own doggie bowls with you.
Rooms are good, restaurant looks nice but service not as good, we had to wait for a long time for the food
Room has been updated, nice shower
Restaurant and Bar are appalling.Service in restaurant is poor, food is worse - will never eat here again
