- Breakfast was great. Restaurant looks cozy. Actually we booked this hotel for the restaurant but my fault that I Didnot think we need to make reservation too early. When we asked for reservation on the morning of our travel day (by sending message in booking), we did not hear anything back and still not. When we checked in, we asked about dinner but was told there was no table available, which was a pity. The breakfast was convincingly good, so we might try the restaurant next time when we stop by (and book early), but we will not stay in the hotel again due to the reasons listed below.

Cons -
- Biggest problem is: There is no door for the bathroom (at least for room 204 we stayed). Even not a cheap door curtain, super uncomfortable. The room is facing a river which has ugly construction. This is different with the website description of “Graden view” and “courtyard view” for the ‘standard double or twin room’. In general, things that do not match with the website descriptions: the room 204 doesn’t feel like 25 square meters, it felt smaller. On the photos online, there are doors on the bathroom. Is room 204 the only one which doesnot have a door for bathroom but we were charged the same (155euro), or does the website only show the photos from a best room and hiding the facts for other rooms? The sound situation is also bad. There is a train rack along the river , and train sometimes horn when passing by, including 6 am. Hotel is in an old house with bad sound insulation doesn’t help, can hear kids jumping upstairs. Bed is too soft. All these do not help for good sleeping quality.
- There was not too much option at the breakfast,Dinner meal prices was expensive and quantity was less than expected.
- The room's floor was shallow, and the beds were uncomfortable. The hotel is a bit outdated, and my room needs refurbishing.

The staff is friendly. The restaurant in the hotel is excellent. They booked a deluxe room, which was huge. The hotel is within walking distance from the train station (close to Brussels). It's a basic hotel.
The room's floor was shallow, and the beds were uncomfortable. The hotel is a bit outdated, and my room needs refurbishing.
The lady and reception was lovely. Checking took just a few moments. Our room was overlooking the inner courtyard where we could also park our car. There was absolutely no noise and the entrance gate was locked at night for added security. The room was furnished with proper furniture, the bed was very comfortable and there was also a little fridge/mini bar. I asked if it was possible to have some hot water for a cup of tea and I was given a kettle for the duration of our stay.
Everything was fine.
Great location, parking, garage for bikes. Fantastic breakfast
Very helpful, comfortable room and great food.
Shower in bath very slippy. Limited parking.
great place with wonderful kitchen and good service. Location close to the center.Rooms spacious en clean. modern bathrooms
surprised to hear that 30€ was invoiced for a late check in. First time in my life with 100 hotel nights a year since 10y
Very nice staff, good location, excellent breakfast made with top-quality ingredients and the croissant is world-class. Parking is a bit tricky, but even manageable with a minivan.
A hidden gem straight across the street from the train stationFrom very friendly staff to very relaxing and comfortable rooms, away from the street noiseThe restaurant was phenomenal as well.
Unfortunally the bathroom did flood each time the shower was put on. This was not an issue but keep in mind... the reception does have certain opening hours.
Charming. Welcoming staff. Cleanness. Free car parking available.
Nothing really.
Quality. Pastries. Real coffee. Fruit. Yoghurt. And more!
Disappointing
To our surprise the whole shower corner (including the toilet) is IN the room, no door or proper walls...
the staff was great so nice and consideratingthe room was so clean, the breakfast was great also
all good for me
Very nice staff, good location, pretty green location and cozy rooms.
Walls are a bit thin, but it's an older building so understandable.
We wanted to leave our bags at the hotel a bit earlier to travel to some villages near Hal without having to carry them around, and the staff opened the doors remotely, giving us the chance to drop our stuff at the reception, which was really kind. The room was nice and spacious, with a huge bed and a nice bathroom. Breakfast was amazing, it was probably my favourite thing about the stay))
The bed and pillows seemed to be kind of tired and lumpy, and that's probably the only thing that should be improved. The room itself seemed slightly darkish, probably because there is just one window facing the street (and getting the light).
We arrived by bike and one of our group had an incident and was taken to hospital for several days. Since the incident happened during the day of our stay and we were too late to cancel this persons room, the manager did not charge the room. Also the helpfulness and kindness of the staff was above expecation. If you are staying overnight around Halle, Hotel Les Eleveurs is the place to book!!!
My stay was pleasant. The breakfast offered was good and delicious. The receptionist and restaurant staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The room was clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable environment to relax in. The availability of private parking was a bonus, and the hotel's location made it convenient to explore the town or areas nearby.Overall, I had a pleasant experience at Les Eleveurs and would recommend it to others looking for a comfortable stay in Halle.
While the furniture appeared a bit outdated, it was nevertheless clean and functional. Additionally, the walls/doors seemed to be thin, so some noise from neighboring rooms or the corridor is noticeable.
clean rooms, comfortable bed, nice place next to the train station, room windows oriented into the garden ( calm sleep), polite young lady at reception desk , tasty breakfast
nothing to say, for short stay absolutely OK
Everything was perfect. Friendly staff, stable wifi, excellent cleanliness, great decor, good location, free parking, etc. We were very happy with our stay.
If I have to nitpick, I could say something about the quality of the mattress but that is also personal preference. To be honest, we had nothing to be unhappy about.
