About

Surrounded by lush, green fields, this family-run hotel is set in a 17th-century farmhouse. It has a large garden with a furnished terrace and barbecue. BéB Ferme Delgueule is also an official Belgian monument. The individually decorated rooms at La Ferm Delgueule overlook the garden. Each comes with a flat-screen TV and a modern, private bathroom. Free Wi-Fi is available in each. A buffet-style breakfast, including omelets, fresh fruit, and coffee, is served daily. In the evening, it is possible to enjoy a home-cooked meal with the owners. The E42-motorway is about 5 minutes’ drive from Ferme Delgueule. The center of Tournai, with its Expo Center, is about a 5 minute drive away.

    Pros +

    • Location might be good for cyclers
    • Lovely location, the room was comfortable and the restaurant is really nice!
    • The location is excellent, it's the perfect place from which to explore western Wallonia. The motorway is nearby and it's also very easy to reach Tournai railway station.

    Cons -

    • business travel without your own car it is not very convenient as you are in the country side. Besides, the site does not have any areas to relax or have a nice walk. Could not see any. The terrace outside cannot be used because it is not protected from the wind,The room I had had not view at all, since the windows were on the roof only. so, not nice to spend your time in the roomStairs to the room were to steep, especially if your carrying a suitcaseThere is no area where to spend time working outside your room besides the dinning area. The dinning room is dark, no natural light. There is baranda which is a dinningpart of the area and I used that are to work
    • No internet in my room. None of my four devices, ranging from Mac OS to Amazon, could connect to internet in my room. Only in the reception area where staff was blaring annoying music.
    • If visiting out of the summer period the floor can be very cold in the bedroom. Take something to wear as no slippers are provided.

Not much: a subpar room in a remote location.

No internet in my room. None of my four devices, ranging from Mac OS to Amazon, could connect to internet in my room. Only in the reception area where staff was blaring annoying music.

It's in a lovely location and Tournai is nice to visit. The restaurant provides good quality and generous portions. The restaurant itself has been restored immaculately.

If visiting out of the summer period the floor can be very cold in the bedroom. Take something to wear as no slippers are provided.

Location near the main road was great, and it was easy to find. The staff were fabulous, and the room was idyllic. They offer a continental breakfast and the option of cooked eggs and bacon, which was nice. Having a kettle in the room was also a welcome treat. The main house is being rebuilt, and it's so beautiful.

The extractor fan in the bathroom has a sensor. As soon as you move into the room, it turns on and doesn't stop for what feels like hours. The restaurant is not open on Sunday evening. I understand that tends to be standard across the country, but when there aren't any restaurants open on a Sunday either, you are left with the local intermarche for dinner.

This was our second stay and we will stay again. Our room was lovely, there is safe parking for our motorbikes and the restaurant is superb!

    Calm surrounding, design

Arrogant and not friendly staff, no air conditioning and hot

Good location from channel crossings. Breakfast, good quality food, value for money

A handrail on the stairs to the bathroom would help with stability when used

I did not take the breakfast.

The room has not been renovated for at least 20 years. It smelled not okay in the room. They used cheap aroma to hide the smell. The furniture was old. It felt like I had to stay in the old barn not on the farm. We left the place without staying in it.

Nice to have the ability to have diner there. Nice menu, great choice of wines. Sat outside and enjoyed!

It was warm and I could not find the air conditioning.. I do not believe it is there..

The quiet location; although located very close to the highway the noise was hardly noticeable. Also the nice garden with the pond and even a little soccer ground was highly appreciated. The room was very large and comfortable with easily enough space for 3-4 people. Very friendly staff and great breakfast in a very charming room.

Maybe 1-2 pictures in the room would make them even more cosy and welcoming but that's about it.

Rural location but easy to get to. All rooms were lovely. Downstairs double rooms had AC.

    Upstairs twin rooms were hot

Very convenient for a night stop. A warm welcome and a spotless room with all that we required. Dinner and Breakfast were excellent , and a good selection of local products all served in a magnificent converted barn. The hotel is surrounded by farm land with some Belgium Blue grazing . Very relaxing quiet area. Thank you

    Not much

Unusual, super buildings and great room facilities. Met the local rabbit and the cat with her kitten.

Took us a while to realise it was a buffet breakfast, when we did it was delicious.

Lovely rural location, excellent hotel room, excellent food

    Having to leave Ferme Delgueule!!

    9Mfs70Posted on: 7-8-2024

The setting was stunning and the buildings gorgeous. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. Dinner at the restaurant was also excellent, though quite pricey. It is super close to the center of Tournai, but you would swear you were way out in the country.

We would have loved some information on the farm - there was some restoration work happening on what looked like the oldest part of the complex. It seemed to be a working farm.

Fantastic really clean, friendly staff, amazing old buildings converted to top class rooms
