Campanile Château-Thierry

Room, breakfast, cleanliness, quiet.

Convenient location near A4. Parking.

Could be more clean.

restaurant and bar was closed on the weekend

didn't like the fact booking.com stated that an on site restaurant and bar would be open for our visit , only to find that it was closed for the weekend when we arrived so no food available..

Excellent receptionist who I found very helpful.Tea and coffee making facilities, no English breakfast tea but always bring my own.Was lovely to start the day with a cuppa.Towels wrapped around me, any bigger than a size 14 think you would struggle

Dinner was good there were choices available that fit our needs at a very good price

Location

No food or drink facilitiesRoom in poor repairSewerage smell in bathroom No pillow choiceBreakfast disappointing

Clean and comfortable with a great location.

Clean hotel. Great staff.

Restaurant not open in the evening.

lack of amenities... restaurant, bar, etc... place was much more run down than expected.

This is an excellent value for money in a good location. I have stayed many times and it always delivers. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in this town. It is clean, accommodating, friendly and near the motorway network.

Room was very pleasant, very nice bed. Reasonably good breakfast, lots of choice. Staff was very helpful.

Clean rooms, nice staff. Good value for money.

Good breakfast and clean rooms. Good location near the motorway exit.

The building itself was not in the best possible condition especially from outside.

The bathroom was nice & spacious & the heating very efficient. We loved the electrically operated window blackout blind.

Nothing to note

The room was clean

I had to wait more than 10 minutes at the front desk waiting that someone comes. I finally called with my phone to make someone come in front of me.Parking not easy with a trailer (there is the Les Ecuyers racetrack clos to the hotel) and I saw there was another pilot in the same situation.Breakfast with limited hours due to lacks of employees (according to the hotel).

24 hour reception was useful for my late arrival. Staff friendly and helpful. Room was adequate and comfortable with all that is needed for a short-term stay. Good value breakfast with plenty of selection.

Rooms not very well soundproofed.

Good availability of parking. Reasonable breakfast but get there early 'cause it isn't restocked.

A long way from the town and if you walk all the way down that long hill be prepared for a strenuous long walk back because there wasn't a taxi service to be found from anywhere. The hotel is otherwise pretty basic and the rooms bereft of any character.

Clean, effortable, comfortable

The room had an extra large bed. Good shower.

Pillows were dreadful. There wasn’t enough PowerPoints beside any mirrors . The place looked dingy from outside and the breakfast didn’t offer any hot food.

The room was a good size. It was clean and it was air conditioned! Since it was 40 degrees when we stayed, we were very happy for the air conditioning! The location was good. Everything worked well.

We had booked two rooms but when we arrived, there was only one room on the reservation. But they fixed it.
