Pros +
- Great - keenly priced; full of antiques; clean; good shower
- Staff were rarely available. Hotel was nice but not great. Parking was a scam (charged £30 for 1.5 days in long stay car park which would have been cheaper paying direct). Good location, lovely building but let down by tardy service. Food was nice but pricey (main meal, didn't have breakfast as it wasn't served before 09:00)
- A really interesting historic building - we had a good welcome when we arrived.
Cons -
- Comfort and facilities were limited and the breakfast was very basic.
- On a rainy Monday in March not a lot of options for food in the town. No food in evening at hotel, which could have been a good fall-back
- For a big room, it would be nice to have a desk to sit at and a bit more table space.

Lovely hotel in great position, clean and quiet
On a rainy Monday in March not a lot of options for food in the town. No food in evening at hotel, which could have been a good fall-back
Very quiet room with big and comfortable bed. Fun decor.
For a big room, it would be nice to have a desk to sit at and a bit more table space.
The hotel is absolutely beautiful and the location is exactly what we wanted, right near the historic centre of the town.
Our room was at he front of the hotel and it was noisy. Never time we'd choose a room at the back. The room is small, the photos a bit misleading, but what a hotel!
Absolutely loved the decor of the hotel with its wonderful blend of modern facilities and vintage pieces decorating the room and throughout the hotel. Very helpful lady on reception
The courtyard restaurant looks lovely but has a very limited food offering. Needs to improve
The staff were friendly, correct and obliging. The garden and bar area are very pleasant and relaxing.Has interesting displays of antiquities.
We do not rate this hotel as 4*.It is a good 3* hotel, therefore rather overpriced.
Poor
We eat dinner at the hotel and it was not good. We wanted coffee after dinner, but the coffee machine was out of order. We Didn’t have breakfast at the hotel, as We couldn’t Get cofee.
A family home tastefully turned into a lovely hotel with character. Great central location. Extremely comfortable bed. Good shower and bath. Marta was delightful.
The staff were exceptional, friendly and helpful. We were made to feel welcome. We spoke very little Spanish, but we managed to get by. A very big thank you for your help with our stay.
Location and staff
The hotel is an historic family home in the heart of Priego, and consequently room sizes are limiting. However, the interior of the hotel, terrace, and garden are enchanting. The simple breakfast for €5 is great value. Further the receptionist Raquel, for extremely helpful with advice and information on the town. The town was so clean, pretty, and peaceful that we plan to go back.
Pillows could have been more comfortable.
Location
The recommended parking was quite expensive, we found free on street parking, the option of included breakfast would have been nice, the toilet in the room was lacking privacy.
We had a very comfortable bed in a nice room in this hotel. Many places to sit in the lounge and a beautiful patio. It is in a lively neighborhood with many shops and restaurants.
Nothing don’t understand rating if we had arrived 5 min later no receptionist as had not checked bookings room small very expensive very noisy and restaurant was awfu
Everything
Location and the staff were very friendly and made us very welcome especially Raquel. The xtra touches made it memorable.
The price when initially booked then went up and I had to rebook and a much increase rate.
Hotel close to down townGood reachable by carPublic parking across the streetRomantic spacious room
The room & patio.
this is not a 4 star facility & should not be quoted as so. it is at best a guest house. we would call it our fawlty towers experience! it is a mueseum so it is quirky but reception is drab & dreary. & not welcoming. Rachel on the desk seems to carry out all the hotel duties which is very unfair to both her & the guests. we asked for dinner menu as had been told it was a very good restaurant & was told to go outside to see it on a placard at front of hotel! reception had no map of town & we were told there would b no food in the hotel til 9pm! long wait for drink as Rachel booking people in. she was able to give us a bread roll to tide us over!!!! we were told we were the only people booked in for dinner so we declined as judging from our experience during the day it would annoy us even more! btw this was a Friday night! the room was good but if you are looking for 4 star service this is not the place to stay & is shocking value for money.
sense of place and history couldn’t be more pronounced … comfortable rooms and beds … lovely baths in some rooms, charming gardens and courtyard
slow communication and the odd charges over breakfast
super service, charming house with beautiful gardens.
room was facing the street, which was quite noisy.
