The staff is great, and the place is very well run. Major kudos to the management there. There are a ton of people, but they make it work by having a lot of facilities so it doesn’t feel crowded. There is a lot to do at this hotel, many activities and restaurant options.Having a family room was also great for the 4 of us. The kids having a separate room is a major bonus

Only things that were annoying are the broken hangers in the bathroom.

LARA is highly recommended for families with children due to its child-friendly facilities, kind staff, excellent food variety, and the convenience of using hotel amenities even after checkout, which makes travel easier and more enjoyable.

    The pool was cold

Very good location in Lara with a nice private beach

Staff not always friendly and welcoming

The hotel has a lively atmosphere, nice pools, and a wide variety of food. The beach access is great, and staff are friendly.

It was very crowded, especially at the pools.

Room service was good. It had facilities for adults and children of all ages. Staff were helpful and kind. I think they all deserve increment in their salary. Food was delicious. Entertainment was the best. Kids loved the kids club/show. Cinema was a great added bonus. Kids playground just added the extra fun.

Smokers everywhere. Making it hard to breathe. Need more options for vegan/veg dishes. Gym could have opened earlier like 6:30am instead of 8am. Would have been easier getting time for breakfast.

Close to the beachThere’s a girl server who was in block GH bar during the nights I forgot her name but she has light blue hair, she’s so kind and always smiling when offering her services. Thank you for making my stay enjoyable!

The images on booking.com were different from the room I was given and they told me nothing can be done unless I upgrade.Shower pressure the worst I have ever experienced Got pulled every single day to show my red band even though it was very visible by security at the entrance and servers at tulip bar, I think they judge by who you are rather than what the band is intended for because not everyone was asked for it even though they weren’t wearing it Variety of food and levels of staffing at the main restaurant wasn’t the best

The food and drinks were alright. The room was as large as promised. Some hotel staff are nice.

It was the worst holiday I have ever had. We were put in a room, facing the party area, despite us making it clear that we prioritise peace and quiet for our one-year old's rest. It was extremely noisy every night as is, but halfway through our stay an entire kids football team moved in on our floor with their supervisor living elsewhere, so the 10-12 year olds were left to their own devices and ended up screaming and playing football in the hallway, occasionally kicking our door while I was trying to put my son down to sleep. When my mom told them off, they decided to antagonise us on purpose and started knocking on our door and running away. It took seven attempts to get the administration to do anything about it. Their solution? "Just wait a bit longer, they will move out in a couple of days". On top of that, here're some things that you need to know:- careful with your milky coffees there as it's not uncommon to get some with milk that's gone sour - their laundry service is a total rip off (appr. 3 EUR per piece of clothing!), so check out a place down the road with more reasonable prices - the path to the beach is currently a part of the construction site of another hotel, so it's all mud and tractors going back and forth, so if you have limited mobility or use a pushchair for your kid, it's really hard to get there- don't go to the doctor's office at the hotel, make an appointment elsewhere: they charge 150 Euros per consultation - use taxi apps or call your own taxis, because the service the hotel uses for the guests doesn't have a meter, so the price they charge is arbitrary

Receptionist straight start to ask me for more money to upgrade my room. Wich I didn't ask... Noone explain where to go.... all they was expecting of me is more money. Wich is so bad when yust arrive. Food is ok. Room I get was without balcony(extra cost 20€ per day for balcony). Drink is very bad quality. Staff in hotel is friendly. But I'll wount come back! For that amount of money u can get better hotel. Unfortunately is not 5 stars. Maximum 3.

Restaurant was open all night and food was available on a 24 hours basis and the rooms were very comfortable and very clean, I arrived late so the main dining room was not open so I could not rate this

Food was very limited in the 24 hrs restaurant and although clean it was limited, the all inclusive package only contained one type of whisky which was not a branded whisky and after midnight any minerals were charged for

Have stated here many times and have always enjoyed my stay but this time the work going on was very noisy banging and drilling all day long above my room where I trying to rest!!!Seems no loyalty at this hotel whereas NO discounts are offered Dissspointing stsay

    Too much work going on!!!

    6CinderPosted on: 3-10-2025

Food options were great and lots of seating available. Rooms were lovely. Can hear the adhaan from my room and the buildings all looked fancy

Alot of the activities and incentives such a 24hr snack cafe, some pools/slides were not available during my stay (march) because it's out of season. Staff preferred serving white Europeans over POC. I'm south asian so I was always overlooked but there were a few who were nice and helped.

There was a good variety of food. The hotel was very clean.

I was worried about that fridge being in the cupboard as it got very hot so had to leave that door open plus would of been very good to of had a small ice box

    The pools

Too crazy busy! check in was chaotic. They need more people up front at the reception. Lot of choice for food items at their buffet but all bland food. The main restaurant was a zoo, people bumping into each other, cutting lines. The room wasn’t cleaned properly either. All in all, not a very pleasant stay. won’t be back here.
