Amaryllis Hotel

The owner made me feel like a member of her family. This hotel is a real gem and such a joy for a weary traveler. Put Karpathos on your bucket list and stay here. I was there during the off season and most of the open restaurants were just down the hill

Located slightly uphill from the port. Just a quick 5 min walk. Clean, nice looking building. Freshly painted on the outside. Nice older lady checked me in. She was the nicest host during my stay. The unit I rented was a clean, large apartment with 2 balocnies. One overlooking a garden area and the other overlooking the port area with a very minimal water view.

Only one AC unit in the bedroom which doesn’t filter out into the living area very well. Very basic older furniture. Clothes lines need rethinking as they are just strings attached to the balcony rails which look terrible. The younger female employee was not very nice and seemed disinterested in her job or doing anything.

A cute hotel very close to the heart of Pigadia, the main town of Karpathos. My room was spacious with a large balcony and partial harbor view. Bed was comfortable, the shower was strong, and there was a nice couch and kitchenette available. This isn't a luxury hotel by all means, but it is a decent, quiet, clean place with very friendly and welcoming owners.

It's in a wonderful location very near to the ferry port , the supermarket is just a short walk away ,loads of tavanas but because I visited mid November only few eating places were open, John was a wonderful host his mother is amazing I had a lovely stay.

Margarita was welcoming, friendly an excellent host! Great view, spacious with good Wifi! Highly recommended!

Situated on a hill!

Close to the port (however, there is a steep slope in front, but it's natural due to the city's characters). The room was very spacious with a kitchen/dinning table/sofa and had a separate bedroom. The balcony with nice sofa and table (You have a partial sea view although rather far). The staffs were all very friendly.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Owner gave us baklava. Handy downhill walk to town. Easy downhill walk to ferry.

Uphill walk to the hotel. Decor is a bit dated.

Excellent welcome from the owner, Margarita, and brilliant assistance received from "Evi" at reception. The location was very quiet, yet only a short walk from lots of tavernas. Quite a steep walk, though, back to the hotel.

Good value for money, spacious rooms with air conditioning. Staff were lovely

First room for 2 nights a really hard bed and towels a bit stiff but 4 days later stayed for one night in a bigger room and better bed. The bathrooms were rather dated the the water from the shower head going every which way than down. But for the cost of the room it was fine

I liked everything??? Grandma Margarita is a wonderful host? We also have a cat who always welcomes us and sees us off. The location is wonderful, 5 minutes from the port and restaurants. I rented a sea view apartment which was very quiet and peaceful. Also the hosts offer car rental "Margarita Rent a Car" where you get the same wonderful treatment. Next time I will stay again in Amaryllis??

washing machine and oven available for the studios would have made my long stay ( 3 weeks)more confortante. Poor quality of the furniture

The owners were amazing, super friendly and helpful people. The apartment was very cozy and you had everything you needed for your stay. Daily cleaning was provided. If you need to rent a car or taxi to the airport (during low season there isn’t any public bus available) you can ask for it at the reception and they will help you. There was a supermarket down the street. Easy to walk around the village.

The hospitality was exceptional. The lady and her family were very accommodating and friendly, making us very welcome. The apartments are very spacious and well-equipped.

The owners are wonderful, friendly, kind.It’s very picturesque hotel. Perfect!

Everything was good. The beds were fine some people might not like a hotel room with two twin beds but I’m solo traveler.

All was very good.

The staff were lovely, welcoming and super helpful. The apartments were close to the centre so easy access to the beach and shops.

The bed was too springy (could feel them through the bed) but apart from that.... every else was great.
