Professional staff, facility, food, location. Top notch stay for such an island. I would recommend to anyone.

The beach and pool.

This is not a 5 star hotel. The staff are extremely rude. I asked for soap and the housekeeping responded with ¿Why didn¿t you get service?¿. Housekeeping starts at 9am and will come in without knocking. The beach and pools are the only nice things. St

Staff and the hotel were just great! Really attentive and forthcoming to our needs and requests. Everything is working and clean. Our son is already begging us to go again... (Being among few guests towards the end of season might have helped but you can feel the staff's general attitude that they care for their guests).

Really, not a lot. One can always argue about food but that was at least good value...

All girls from the reception desk were very kind .

Hi We booked this hotel because we are tennis players .The tennis court was not usable. We raised the issue with reception; the manager was informed but simply shrugged his shoulders, saying there was nothing he could do. We even suggested he contact the neighboring hotel, which has two playable courts, to arrange something so that we could still play. Unfortunately, he completely ignored us, until the last day ! Very disappointing for a service that should not be advertised if it doesn’t exist.Breakfast was also quite underwhelming — limited variety and no changes from one day to the next.Overall, this feels more like a 4-star hotel rather than the 5 stars it claims. The fact that it is located on a small island without competition does not justify its 5-star rating

Excellent location (on the beach and short driving distance from the city), plenty of restaurants and mini markets (walking distance), 3 pools, very clean, helpful staff, free parking opposite the hotel.

The food

Updated room. Nice view. The Indonesian employees are the most friendly and helpful people. Pool towels and chairs provided. Shop and coffee bar on main floor. Baby playpen provided.

I stayed for 13 days and can recall the sheets being changed 3 times… for 300 euros a night, I would like to have fresh linen because of the pool and beach. The breakfast is absolutely disgusting. Had yogurt, had to take a plastic wrapper out of my mouth. The lunch buffet had food that was supposed to be hot but was ice cold! Not even worth waking up for the breakfast or even eating from the hotel.

The food and location were great. The staff was incredibly friendly.

The bed was originally a little hard but they provided us with a topper so all was good in the end.

The breakfast was excellent! Custom omelettes, fruit, meats, cheeses, coffees, etc. It finished a bit soon at 10am, since we stay out late while on vacation, and it's a bit challenging to make the 7-10 time slot.

Parking was unpaved

Beautiful property! Excellent location to get in and around the main town of Pigadia and also feel like you are in a unique resort area. Very spacious, cleanand exceptional amenities. Everything we needed and could have wanted. Rooms were very large, comfy and clean. Wonderful views from anywhere in the building. Staff were amazing! Always someone available and very helpful. Very professional and friendly too. Dining was great. We had breakfast every day and always tasty with a huge selection for everyone. Always stocked and lots of staff to help you. Pools are beautiful. Lots of choices. Spa and sauna was very nice. Major perk was having own private beach front right here. Clean and quiet- and free to guests. The other beaches(umbrella rentals) are very expensive, overcrowded and not as clean so we desired something easy and convenient. Very reasonably priced for the resort experience. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality and “Filoxenia”. We travel to Karpathos often and have found our new favorite place.

The facilities were nice, especially the multiple pools, and beach area.We were upgraded to a sea view room in the newer building, which was very nice. The dinner food was a different theme each night, and decent!

Not a five star resort, at best 4. There were some minor, yet weird issues. At the dinner buffet, there are no beverages. I don't mean no alcohol, I mean no beverages at all (not even tap water), so you are forced to buy a bottle of water, which was $8. It wasn't that big of a deal, but I've never been to an included buffet at hotel with no beverages. Oddly, they did have water, juice, milk, coffee during breakfast. Also about the dinner buffet, there is a dress code: no flip flops, shorts, hats, etc. After entering (not seeing the dress code sign), we were told to leave and change. No problem. The next night I saw several people there eating in flip flops and shorts and hats who were not told to change.

Great location, has everything. Friendly staff. Awesome beach and 3 separate pools. You can find sun or shade. Easy and relaxing walk to town.

Breakfast ends early, 10 am, so don’t sleep in if you are a breakfast eater

The Breakfast and especially the dinner could have been much better. In the "Off season" period the hotel could have less but higher quality (& most importantly fresher) options.

Wonderful location, great pools, fronting onto a sandy beach. Rooms, we were in the new wing , very nice indeed. Fab view from balcony. Hotel reports to be 5 star.....that needs a little attention. Restaurant/bar staff need to be little more professional in demeanor and service rather than just a job.....a bottle of water in the room daily, change of beach towels daily automatically ....minor things but a helluva difference. Two individuals to pick out Manolja delightful ' mein host' and the chef doing the omelettes...they were great! All round lovely stay.By the way there is also a delightful roof top pool and bar but heh you wouldn't know it was there?

The room was great and the view was very nice. Staff were very friendly and hotel was very clean. Location was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay and would return.

The bed was two single beds and mattress not the best. The pastries and cakes at breakfast were and there could be more variety of fruits.

Great facilities and amenities. The pools are amazing. Abundant breakfast (loved the freshly hand made pancakes). Free umbrella (you can just walk into the beach) and a very decent beach front. Beach volley and Petanque (bocce) playing grounds. 15 mins easy walk to the town center, most of the staff very kind

Note: we were not part of an organised tour from the company owning the hotel! . All and all these are not major negative points to say you should not came, the hotel is mice. We found few room for improvements/recommendations : . we felt the price for the suite is not really worth its quality : the entrance door could have been designed better as when it opens it clashes with the curtains, toilet doors are not isolating so you might hear noise and amell of the personal business, the bedsheet were not matching the size of the materass, it took 2 days to bring an ashtray, keycard would not work ans we had to use a mechanical key, The staff seemed, at times and not all of them, unable to cope quick with request and at some had a but of "gloomy" mood. For breakfast there was no fresh juices and the juices of the machines was subpar and you could feel the powdery-synyetic feel. Breakfast food was aboundant but overall was average-good quality. I know those are might seems too picky but if am rating a 5star hotel that seems to be offering luxury options. Hope it will help to improve as the location is superb

No air conditioning all of our vacation We will never go back, the breakfast was very poor .

The place is ideally located in the island in order to visit beaches and villages. The hotel is renovated so it is in very good situation. The breakfast was as expected fine for such a hotel. A very relaxing place, where you can really enjoy the sea and sun of Karpathos. It is suggested to rent a car, in order to visit the fantastic beaches all around the island.

The cleaning in the room needs some more attention. The swimming pools, which are beautiful, and the beach need the presence of lifeguards.

The location is great, near the city/port. The beach in front is very nice with clear water and hotel's sunbeds /umbrellas The stuff very polite and friendly. Rooms and generally all the hotel places really clean

Its definitely not a 5* hotel The breakfast very poor: only one coffee machine, no fresh juices, no local products from the island... etc. The rooms and bathrooms need to maintain (see the photo of the towels below) We felt suffocating heat every time we walked the floor corridors or inside the lifts which are without air condition.The reception service needs to be improved as well. Overall it feels like it refers to mass tourism.

Clean, well established, well equipped.Modern and facilities are right on target.
