    Pros +

    • We liked everything. Clean, comfortable with friendly owners. All as described. Recommended!
    • Really friendly, genuine, family-run hotel. Location is close to the center of Therma with restaurants and shops in walking distance. The owner and her son where very helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and ours had a nice balcony with a view. Very good value for money and would stay here again anytime.
    • Clean and straightforward check in process. Cute area. Easily walkable to restaurants!

    Cons -

    • We liked everything ?
    • Nothing much to say here really. Maybe having a breakfast option would have been nice but there is plenty of places such as two bakeries close by.
    • It is a hotel that needs renovation, but for the price you pay you really get a very good value so no complaints

No breakfast. It was very close to beach and thermal baths

I would have enjoyed being able to enjoy a glass of wine on the patio.

Good location, friendly and helpful hosts.

The room can do with a new mattress.

Conveniently located to the thermal baths, restaurants and caffès on a quiet street.

The host is super friendly and attentive to all your needs

The location is perfect. The staff is very polite and helpful. If I come back (and I am planning to), I'll definitely stay in this cute hotel.

This was the best value stay of our trip to Greece and we chose it for the location and we had low expectations of both the hotel and the village of Therma. The hotel exceeded our expectations in all respects. The hotel faces East so we had morning sun on our balcony for breakfast but shade after 12.00 noon for afternoon drinks/sundowners. Only a hand held shower typical of older Greek hotels but not a problem if you are used to it. Family run so nice vibe to the place. I also recommend Therma over Agios Kirikos. Traditional Greek village although there is a cocktail bar but a local riding up to a bar on a horse is pure magic. Also thermal sea pool with hot water. Spent five days here which passed very quickly.

As mentioned above hand held shower. This being Greece everyone smokes. Ground floor rooms are where the smokers congregate so if you are a non-smoker ask for an upstairs room with balcony.

I am not sure how this place has such good ratings. The lady that checked us in was very friendly but spoke very little English. She was able to help quickly whenever we requested it. The location was good, and the price was good.

The beds were horrible. We were only given a sheet to sleep with, and the beds were not comfortable at all, my mom and I did not sleep much at all. The refrigerator was nice that it had a freezer that worked. However the shelf in the bathroom was slanted, and when my mom put a glass cup on it just before bed, it slide off and shattered. The lady was quick to help clean up the glass, but we were worried the rest of our stay about stepping on broken glass.

great location, Therma is an awesome place to stay!!

a lot of things: wifi was so weak we couldn't use it at all, the shower cubicle was extremely small for a normal-grown man, the manager couldn't speak english but otherwise was nice, after two nights we were moved to a worse room at the ground floor without explanation (probably they wanted Greeks to have a better room for their whole stay - it was not comfortable for us and such a thing hasn't ever happened to us while on vacation)

Value for money. Close to the beach. Friendly staff.

Amazing staff and great location! The room had a balcony and it was very comfortable! Mr. Antonis and Ms. Despoina are such great and helpful people.

The bathroom was a bit small.

The short walking distance to everything once in Therma and the thermal hot springs directly on the sea is great. The towels were super soft brand new like. However I did not have a good stay. I booked for 5 nights, my room on the ground floor along with two other rooms had view on a patio surrounded by walls and a couple of trees. Ok not great but ok. Every one had a table and chairs in front of their room. My room was close to the reception desk with phone ringing loud as late as midnight! and loud conversations resonated in the hall. I am sure rooms in upper floors are much better with real balconies and not so much noise from the hallway.

    - Bathroom window had no door to shut so when someone smoked sitting in front of their room, smoke would find its way in through that opening into my bathroom. - Doors to rooms seem paper thin and the door to my room was regularly banging on its frame coming from whatever air currant coming in. - The one shelf in bathroom has its glass leaning downward so nothing can be placed on that shelf or it will fall into the sink.- Bathroom in general is so tiny but shower stall is so small that a normal size person could not fit without touching either the wall or the sink! And I am pretty slim. - My reservation was for one person in a room for two The second pillow was stored in the closet with no pillow case. Kind of petty. They did give me one extra pillow case when I asked.

Comfortable, clean room with all you would expext. Gracious hosts and fantastic value for money.

Friendly people and great value for money

Room was small and very basic

    7DianaPosted on: 7-27-2024

It was in a good location, it had a hot water kettle and mini fridge, had a line for hanging wet clothes.

The room we had didn’t have a private balcony, sharing is fine, but not when the neighbors are smoking. On the lower floor in the room we were in, the natural lighting was very dim.

This was an absolute gem to find. If you're visiting Ikaria it most likely has something to do with it being a blue zone area, healing attributes and cultural way of life and this hotel is a MASSIVE contribution to that. It's not the most glamorous, but Despina and her husband will have you feeling the love of being part of their stay and the vibe of the hotel. Its clean, with a fridge, decent balcony, clothes line to hand wash your clothes and hang them. It's less than three minutes walk to the beach, basic local amenities and a few restaurants and most importantly the Radon Baths. There's nothing not to love about this area and more importantly this hotel. SUCH great value for money.
