Pros +
- The rooms and public spaces were clean and pleasant, food was diverse and tasty, very friendly staff.
- Breakfast, OK. Parking available.
- Nice hotel, comfortable rooms. Tasty breakfast and dinner. Parking lot with barriers. About 10 minutes walk to the Castle spa.
Cons -
- We had a road-facing room and it was a bit noisy during the night/morning, I would suggest requesting a backyard-facing one to light sleepers.
- Poor cleaning, a lot of dust, even though I asked for the room to be cleaned, having an allergy to dust (photo attached), difficult to breathe in the room, plus the bill was charged upon departure with unused consumption, the staff was not very friendly.
- * The room we chose was in the attic & quite small - more information about each room type on booking would have meant we would have chosen a larger, more spacious room for more money* The food was good & varied but some dishes, such as eggs at breakfast, ran out at least 30 minutes before breakfast closing & were not replaced

It was my second time and as first time it was again perfect. Very comfortable stay, clean and spacious room. The deluxe suit was very comfortable with a private balcony. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Will return for sure. Recommend to anyone who looking for a peaceful and clean hotel with amazing restaurant. Food is very tasty, presented well and good size portions.
This building is beautiful and the staff is super polite! (The rooms could be more soundproof, but earplugs are to help!)
Beautifully designed, friendly staff, good food, well located

Great hotel with comfortable rooms and perfect restaurant in the amazing town with the castle and the thermal spa.
the hotel itself is lovely and the food was great.
Had to sit by the door at the restaurant because non-guests had reserved the best seats. The door kept staying open and I was freezing. The spa on booking says its available for guests, when in fact, it was completely booked by non-hotel guests. Got woken up by 30 minutes of the person above showering.
The hotel restaurant was unexpectedly amazing.
The Electric car charger was out of order. The hotel did not inform me about this.
The property is beautiful, well maintained. We very really satisfied with the restaurant as well, all meals we tasted were well prepared!
Location
the room was small, but was ok because we stayed only one night
Our first choice in GyulaGreat breakfast and dinner Big rooms, comfortae beds , coffee machine ketlle in the room.Parking at the hotel(.2000 huf/day)Very friendly staff
We have traveled to Gyula with our family (2kids - 5 and 2 years). The hotel was very ok, clean, staff helpful and the rooms cozy and clean.I liked the food, it was very diverse (3 days - 3 different type of dinner options)
What I did not like was that for a family with kids the hotel doesn't have a relaxation zone, or something similar where you (adults) can stay for a chat with a glass of wine/juice and kids can freely play around. We needed to be either in the restaurant where there were also people from outside the hotel dining or in the room. Another thing that I did not like was the pool with the tubes/slides which was not actually part of the hotel, we had to travel 10 min (walk) until it, and with kids, who played in water all day, during the winter to walk 10 min is not something I recommend, or to wait for the bus (5 min ride). Even if you dry them, the cold outside affects them. Something else that we did not like was the fact that even if we paid extra for the pool entries we did not have room inside it, all the pool beds were full, they sold tickets over the capacity and we had to stay with the kids in our arms when they were not in the pools. I may say this is not the hotel's fault, but at least they should be prioritised if they have a contract together and they offer you a special price and promise that you will have poolseats and everything.
The restaurant in the hotel has live music in the evening. The kitchen was at a relatively good level. The hotel and restaurant staff are kind and polite. The location of the hotel is on a main street in the very center of the city and about 20 minutes' walk from the thermal pools
The room was very small, with small windows and a narrow bathroom. Wellness is paid - you are only entitled to one free one. That's why we were only once. The Internet was under all kinds of criticism. After 20:30 in the evening there is no hot water. The TV remote was not working.
Good positioning , great staff
For a 4 star hotel, ai expected more cleaning in the room. No robs, no iron, no proper supply in the bathroom, no shoes.
- restaurant - quality of the bed
- breakfast's quality- breakfast until 10am on Sunday- check out until 10am on Sunday- size of the "suite"
Our stay at Komló Hotel Gyula was amazing. Clean property nice decorated for Christmas. The breakfast was delicious with a lot of food.
Hotel is very nice, has a parking on the rear. My room was comfortable, with a living room, bedroom, desk, minibar, shower with toiletries and a balcony. Breakfast is served in the restaurant as a buffet and has good choice of salty and sweet. The restaurant also serves dinner, which has a good menu and the food is tasty. Is it well worth the price!
The bathroom is big enough to have a nice mirror and a nice and wide board. I did not like the wall board: with a door that opens on the right it is uncomfortable to place the beauty case
Nice and cosy hotel. The room was spacious and the staff helpful. The location is central. Food is ok, not wide variety but everything is fresh and tasty.
Majority of waiters does not speak English or any other langauge but Hungarian which makes it diffucult to communicate. This is rather inapropriate for a hotel which accommodates many foreigners. Also, dishes names were in Hungarian only which is inconvenient as well. And last but not least, you get two coffee capsules for the coffee machine in your room upon the arrival and they do not top it up which is not a big thing but would be nice to have two new capsules on daily basis. This is my second stay in this hotel and would come again definitely.
Good location, helpful staff.
Our room was on the ground floor and therefore very dark inside.
