    Pros +

    • Spaciuous and clean room. We liked the fact that the hotel is connected to the to the baths and you can go there in your robes. The food is ok, the access to the restaurant is organized in two shifts maybe because they can't accomodate everybody at once.
    • Quiet location and access to the spa.
    • Close the spa and breakfast was excellent

    Cons -

    • They say that access to the baths is included in the room price BUT does not include the checkout day. If you stay for 2 nights and checkin at 2PM this means that you get only half a day access when you arrive and you have to pay for the last day. This can be a deal breaker versus a stay at a nearby villa.
    • The Wi Fi was almost nonexistent in our room. The food included in our reservation was not what you expect from a four star hotel. However the service restaurant staff is doing a good job in serving and replenishing the food items.
    • The HVAC cannot keep up the room being at the last 8th floor

It is very clean, good food on restaurant, very good termal place.

The wireless internet is a disaster, worse than a dial-up connection, in the spa at the hotel for three days in a row they didn't have towels for the sauna right from the first hour. The spa jacuzzi area of the hotel is rusty and outdated.

    Access to pools/spa.

Poor front desk reception. No greetings upon arrival. No courteous behavior of receptionists. During checkin the receptionist did not give us the “All inclusive” wrist bands despite of paying for All inclusive. Also did not offer us any information about hotel, spa or city.Menu only in Hungarian, no English or French.

    Internet could be better.

    Clean, friendly people, good breakfast

The mattress on the bed was very soft, so we woke up with a back pain.

Everything was ok, the hotel, location, the bath, the town, it is our fifth visit to Gyula and we chose the same hotel due to the facilities that it offers.

Since it is the fifth time that we stayed at this hotel , this time the food did not meet our expectations, something was different and we did not like the food at all.

The rooms were renovated and clean. Everything looked modern. AC was working. Decent prices at the bar. Very close to the Castle spa. Walking distance to supermarket and bank.

Food was just ok (canteen like), nothing special. Stuff was most of the times not willing to help, even with any sort of translator apps. All 3 pool tables broke mid game (not releasing the white ball) and all we got was "that's it. can't help"

    9MiklošPosted on: 6-24-2024

The best thing of this hotel is the location, because you have a direct connection to the Caste Spa, and evetything is in your vincinity. It is really thoughtful eith the families and little kids, because it has programs for they though the whole day.

The wifi is really slow, but it doesn’t matter so much.

    5AugustinPosted on: 6-15-2024

Clean rooms in renovated area, all staff?

The pictures from the Aqua Pallace were all photoshoped. The reality is another. There was a slippery surface all over in polls area. About the food all i can say: a lot without no taste. Only to full the belly :(((

    10SasaPosted on: 6-11-2024

Staying in the hotel was exelent. A room was beautiful , bad was comfortable , aircondition is working good. Wifi exelent, the cleaners changed the towels every day. Food is delicious . Swimingpool is the best. The mark is 10 and best regards .
