Breakfast and dinner.

Spa facilities have been closed for most of the time which was huge disappointment.

We enjoyed the breakfast, the room. We appreciate the personnel who makes sure in the Spa area that the rules are followed by all the guests (using the towels in the sauna, silence areas).

The minibar has no proper ventilation (enclosed in furniture) so it doesn't cool well.

What was not to like

Breakfast superb location superb about 200 m from the lake nice views to the lake. The spa facilities were superb and impressive.

Not much staff could be friendlier

The atmosphere was elegant and cozy, the attention of the staff, the food was great, with a great variety to choose from. There are many options in the spa area. There are pools for adults and kids, two pools with salty water, some interesting little cold/hot pools for your feet, to activate your circulation, I think. Quite a few saunas so that you can always find a place in one of them. Early in the morning, we had the pools and saunas practically to ourselves, while people were having breakfast (we went to breakfast later, to enjoy the morning silence at the spa). It's really clean in all the spa area and around the hotel.

There were a few things, some noises in the room and some problems in the bathroom, which made our stay just very good, instead of perfect. I think we were just unlucky, because otherwise the place looked really well arranged everywhere. Even if the staff did their best to help, the room we had couldn't be fixed while we were there. Also, it could have been a bit cleaner. I think for 4 stars, I expected perfection in the room, and my expectations were too high. A few details at the spa made things somewhat less pleasant. Some showers were working just when they wanted, and some feet cleaning little pools were sometimes out of order, but then fixed. You could always find other showers, which were working, but I would have expected everything to work flawlessly.

I loved the Spa area, the treatments, the food, very clean room and actually all facilities.

The Bar area could be more intimate and lively. It was at times in the evening entirely empty.

When the room doors are closed from outside it make terrible noise

I liked everything, the hotel is renovated and beautiful everywhere, breakfast and dinner are bountiful, the pools are fun, sauna was great.

Excelent spa facilities.The food was good, and they change menu every day, both for breakfast, and dinner.The hotel has seen improvements since my last stay: new furniture.Very clean rooms. Polite and helpful staff.

The room temperature was to hot. And no posibility to change it. We had to sleep with the window slighty opened.No extra pillows.We had to pay 15 lei/day for parking. Considering the price, and the fact that it's their private parkimg lot, I think it's ridiculos.

Nice staff, very clean and confortable, good food. The SPA was excellent. I like the new online check-in and auto whatsApp constant messages.I would suggest with all the new automation to add a selfcheck-in machine that releases a room key.

Warm salty wather pools were kinda of cold during the week

Cleanliness of the room, dinner was good, very central location, view on the Lacul Ursu, many facilities and nature paths around the hotel.

Algae in the pool, internal facilities were many but in need of an upgrade. No one told the chef that British food is the worst in Europe?

Clean comfortable rooms, great position overlooking bear lake (long flight of steps then over the road to get to the lido), friendly staff. Nice spa area.

Breakfast underwhelming - a very large buffet but much of it mass produced and ordinary. We decided to have our dinner instead at nearby Hotel Pacsirta, which was excellent. I think if we book again we would do it without breakfast and instead go to one of the many cafes nearby.

Exceptional rooms, the service in the restaurant is excellent, very polite staff and wonderful food. The spa is also great and the hotel is close to the lake and all the other places of interest in Sovata.

Sovata landscaping is beautiful.

The TV channels were mostly in Maghiar language so was hard to enjoy the cable content. The establishment is old and remodeling projects are everywhere blocking the easy access. The Spa facility is too small for the number of guests. I booked the resort before summer season starts and I felt that most of the popular spots in the wellness Spa were not available most of the day. The shower in the bathroom can flood the hallway. You need to be very careful when you shower and place a towel on floor to block the water from reaching the bathroom door.

The rooms are renovated and very clean. Food is good and diverse. We served breakfast and dinner.Great location near the lakes.

You pay 15 RON for the parking even if it is just for the hotel customers mainly.

The hotel was recently renovated (some parts still were under construction even) so our room looked and felt brand new. Spa area was great and the staff as well.

This is a great resort for all ages. The spa offers a full range of services plus many warm pools fun for kids and relaxing saltwater for adults. The rooms a clean and comfortable and the staff very professional and helpful. We booked our stay with breakfast and dinner included. The buffet was plentiful and delicious.

The spa is very nice, the room was clean, location is excellent.
