Pros +
- The place was ok but not special in any way. It is conveniently located close to the Bear lake, the rooms are not small. the breakfast was a normal continental breakfast with some local traditional foods added. The hosts are nice and helped us with what we needed.
- there were plenty of breakfast options but none vegan, so I ate from my own supplies. The location and the staff are amazing and it's a pity the property is fallen out of repair because it has so much potential.
- Very good location and food, nice peoples.
Cons -
- The spa is very small and not as clean as expected. The courtyard is nice but there was nothing to do outside in this period, there is only one small table for smokers and a bench. The price is quite high for what the place offers.
- They advertise having a kitchenette and there's a picture of a kitchenette on their website, but upon closer reading, the "kitchenette" is really code name for having a fridge and a tiny kettle. No cooking station and no sink. For those on a restrictive diet who cannot eat at restaurants, the kitchenette is a deal breaker. I never would have looked at the property if I had known they had no kitchenette. I filtered the search for a kitchenette. So it was very misleading.
- An older hotel in need of some upgrades. We think that we were the only people in the hotel the night we stayed, and to our surprise, the staff goes home in the evening leaving us alone in the building. That said however, the staff was great the next morning and went out of their way to help us with some issues. The room had a small bathroom with a small shower stall; one side of the door fell off when I tried to close it. Last, room had a mildew odor. To be fair, I think we just came out of season, but still this place could use some renovation.

Excellent location, walking distance to Lacu Ursu

Good position, everything clean, nice staff.
The hotel staff was very kind and friendly, the room was large and comfortable. The hotel location is excellent, highly recommended.
Everything is gorgeous and was above our expectations!!! Great convenient location, yet quiet on the heights. Lake Ursu and the gorgeous huge park 1 minute walk, Restaurants 2 minutes walk, Lots of attractions and places to go and easy access! Great steam room and pool, game room, great rooms and breakfast! And the staff is lovely!!!) We are very happy! We recommend it unequivocally!
The location is excelent: near the forest and the hiking route starts at the door of the vila, while it is still central location in a more quiet area.Personnel is very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is better than one would expect in this area.
The sauna was almost a joke - as it never warmer than 60C you can only get some steam out of it. Room is a bit small for a comfortable stay, bit quite ok for a short mostly outside stay
Nice hotel with really kind staff, the location is perfect, it is only a few minutes walk to the lake.We could leave the car in the parking area before the check-in which made our day easy. The breakfast was good.
Wide range of choice at the breakfast but the staff was not prepared for the amount of guests and didn't replenish several foods and equipments. The room was enough for 3 persons but there was not enough plugs for 3 phones.
Glad that it re-opened. We loved the location and the staff was very friendly.
