Vida Family Hotel -Top Central Location

Very clean rooms in a nice place, park and restaurants nearby, ability to stay with a cat. Free parking at the street.

Shower is not comfortable to use, sound isolation is quite poor.

It was near Baba Vida krepost.

They were doing repairs in the hotel on a Saturday afternoon and then in the Sunday morning. There was rust in the bathroom appliances.I paid for deluxe room (61€), while they put me and my girlfriend in the cheapest room for 41€.

Very good location near the town park and dog friendly small hotel. Great for walking dogs. I had my two with me. Nice coffe and small snaks in the hotel lobby. Basic room, but good shower and comfy bed. Nice reception staff. It was just an overnight stay for me, but Vidin is a small cute town full of history. I'v been there before. It worth a full day visit and the fresh fish from Danube in the local restaurants it is not to be missed.

Heating system, bathroom (there is no shower cabin...you have to be careful while showering or everything will be wet).

The location is perfect, close to the river and the city center. The hotel staff were very kind and helpful. Parking was easy.

Little things that make a difference to one’s stay - there could be more than one clothes hanger in a double room, for example. Perhaps some extra pillows, a mop in the bathroom would be great.

The bed is comfortable. The location is excellent.

No breakfast is available. The bathroom is huge but not well-designed.

The room was very clean. The location is good, next to Danube river.I was traveling with a motorcycle and I left my motorcycle outside when I arrived. The employee saw my helmet and she offered me a parking spot in a small underground and locked parking place they had (free of charge). I really appreciated the fact that my motorcycle was secured.It's a good choice, especially for motorcycle travellers.

The room was simple and small, but it was what they were saying they are offering.

The hotel is within walking distance of almost all of the main attractions. It was nice, quiet hotel with very friendly staff. Excellent experience.

Lovely rooms, very spacious and clean. Comfortable bed and newly decorated.

Cold showers, air con wasn't brilliant so it was very hot at night, small bar/Nespresso machine downstairs but no other communal area or food served.

Well it is so expensive for the money they are asking. Room with bad smell, we couldnt sleep all night because of the smell.

Bike parking fee of €5, first time in 3 months and 4,000 km of travel that any place has charged to park bikes! ?Poor room lighting Only 1 bedside lamp

We arrived early at the property and the lady on reception was friendly and let us leave our bags at reception while our room was prepared. Gave a good restaurant recommendation when asked and also let us leave our luggage at reception after checkout while we waited for our onward transportation. Excellent location close to the river and a short walk to the fortress. Quiet street. Comfortable beds. Communication was in Bulgarian so can't comment on language ability of staff

A blazing row at 5am between a man and woman woke us up and continued with angry shouting for more than 20 minutes without any intervention. The advertised "soundproofing" of the room seemed lacking or the argument was just too loud. Charged 2 leva for a single teabag where many other similar hotels would have provided tea and coffee making facilities in the room free of charge. Nowhere to hang jackets inside the room. Bed not made (top sheet not on the bed but packed in the wardrobe).

Nice hotel in the center of Vidin, our room was very huge, renovated and very comfortable!Even if the staff could not speak in english we've been able to communicate with no problems!

there's no elevator in the building

The ladies running the front desk were incredibly friendly. Friendliest that we met on our trip! Place was centrally located and the bed were comfortable enough. We felt very safe here. I would recommend to others if they are traveling through the area and need a hotel.

A nice family run hotel. Staff were flexible and understanding when we needed to change our reservation dates, despite the last minute notice from us. Room was very good, we had everything we needed, as we just stayed for the night to have some sleep. Excellent value for money.

There were flush noises from the sewage pipes in the bathroom, but nothing so serious to bother us greatly.

Location is great, near the river bank

No shower separator in the bathroom, no bathtubs in the bathroom. No proximity restaurants available.
