We came late, one from the staff waited for us and gave a friendly welcome. For two stars this was better than expected.

Perfect location. Friendly staff. Clean and spacious room. Beautiful view from the window.A little extra: the bell tower of a beautiful Romanic church was just outside the window. For some reason, the bell is not ringing a classic Ave o Maria like most Italian churches do, but some strange avant-garde / atonal / expressionist series of chromatisms, so every once in a while I would find myself lost in some dream like trance before realizing that it was just the bells from the tower ringing outside. I loved this, but I understand how someone could find the noise a bit "intrusive".
Delightful old school Italian family run hotel and cafe in a prime central location. Facilities were basic but functional. Staff were attentive, friendly and the place was clean. I would go there again.
Parking nearby was not possible for any length of time but there is a large free carpark on the lake side that is open 24/7.

No heating. The place is super basic. It's a 2 stars, don't expect comfort... it's really just a one-night place.

I really enjoyed the Church right next to my bedroom window. If you like church bells ringing out, this is the place for you. As an added bonus, a funeral service took place on a Monday right outside my window. It was a great experience.

This stay was definitely better than expected. The hotel is perfectly situated and the price unbeatable. The people working there are not only kind and very professional, but also lovely and warm. The café under their hotel is also nice for little snacks and coffee.
