- Big room, great location, nice breakfast, and helpful staff.

Cons -
- The hotel is a little bit old and all its furniture.
- Room was a bit dated. Trim on the door was falling off. No outlets by the beds. Upgrades for a better view seem worth it.
- Breakfast was nice but ran out of several food items and they were not replaced eg: mozzarella ran out, pineapple, several cakes. we were not late, either. Additionally, when I booked the rooms the hotel information said there was free parking. Parking was free, there just wasn't any.

Very nice location
Moldy smell and humidity. Clothes were damp .
The location is excellent in the center of Arona's promenade. Easy to reach by foot to any place in the town center. Parking is for a fee on the street.
The room is a bit old and was not renovated in the last years. Breakfast was reasonable, nothing more.
Location and stuff
Very loud in the night from a AC machine or something. Was a compressor somewhere always noisy. Barely slept also with ear plugs.
We love the staffs at the reception are always ready to help, answer questions & very approachable, most specially at the bar as i forgot to ask his name.He was very friendly to us & very good at his job.Excellent in entairtaining guest. We are treated very well when we stayed for tea after dinner & the breakfast the next morning. He was very attentive to needs of each guests.Very Courteous to the guest.
The hotel is under rating and should be equal to 4 star. It is walkable from Arona train station and the lake is viewable from the gate. The staff is friendly and helpful. You can eat your dinner in the hotel's restaurant with 10% discount - the food is excellent. The breakfast got a variety of choices, will add some pictures.
Our room is in one corner and feel a bit noise in midnight
Great location on the lake shore. Nice bathroom with bathtub.
The air conditioner was quite capricious. It only turns on when the window is tightly closed. It is a good idea, but also an origin of problems.
Hotel Giardino was in the perfect location. Centralized to cafe's, restaurants, churches, shopping etc. We enjoyed waking up to the sound of the water lapping and birds singing. Our balcony overlooked Lake Maggiore. The view was spectacular! The room was modest and clean. The bathroom was tiny, with a very tiny shower. It worked for my daughter and I. The breakfast was delicious and lovely. It included fruit, yogurt, pastries, eggs, sliced meat n cheeses and cereal (something for everyone). The coffee machine was the best with many choices.
The air conditioning did not work as it had been one of the amenities advertised on Booking.com. When asked, the front desk staff stated that it had not been turned on yet for the summer. Even though it was warm, we were comfortable sleeping with the windows open. The shower was very small and leaked all over the bathroom floor.
Balcony over looking the lake Parking permit from the hotel was a bonus
No English tv or might be a good point ! No kettle in room for making tea or coffee
Excellent location facing the lake and near the pedestrian historical centre.
The hotel needs a good upgrade, especially the bathrooms.
The location is perfect, short distance to every direction. Hotel staff is excellent and everything went as one hopes. I had the most basic room, and it's very good value for under 100e. Not new by any means, so if you are looking for that, go to another place.
Beds are a bit hard for my liking, walls are thin and garbage truck emptying out the glass bottles every morning at 7am isn't optimal. I wouldn't say they are deal breakers but I wouldn't pay over 100e for this.
Breakfast was very good. Staff was very helpful. Location was excellent... just a short walk away from the station. Restaurants and old town very near.
Bed was not very comfortable,
Great location and excellent hotel. I often stay here. The attached restaurant is excellent and offers a discount if the hotel provides a discount card on request.
Good breakfast, clean, very central
The bathroom needs to be changed and walls between rooms are too thin..you can hear your neighbours
LOCATION IS EXCELLENT, QUIET PLACE, NEAR THE BOAT AND TRAIN STATION, LOTS OF RESTAURANTS NEARBY, SHOPPING AREA NEARBY, RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE LAKE, EASY ACCESS TO LAKE AREA.
FACILITIES IN ROOM ARE NOT GOOD, NO KETTLE, TEA, COFFEE IN ROOM, SMALL TV WITH NO ENGLISH CHANNELS, TV HAS NO CONNECTION FACILITIES WITH PHONE OR LOGGING IN WITH OUR OWN SUBSCRIPTIONS, THE STANDARD OF FURNITURE, LIGHTING IN ROOM, BEDS AND COVERS, TOWELS IS VERY LOW, VERY SMALL BATHROOM, DOESN'T FEEL VERY CLEAN AND HYGENIC.
A great room if chosen with balcony and lake view. Fabulous location, on the lake front and in the centre of Arona. We often stay here for short visits. The hotel has everything necessary without being fancy and over priced. A great place to stay, and with good quality breakfast foods and strong controllable room heating.
We stayed for one night near the end of our vacation in December. I picked this hotel because it was a short drive to the Milan airport, and this hotel exceeded my expectations. Arona was a beautiful little town, even in December most of the restaurants and shops were open so we really enjoyed exploring. The hotel is in a perfect location and we had a beautiful view of the lake. The room was clean and warm, and the staff was very helpful. We checked out very early to get to the airport but I would happily stay here again for longer.
The Hotel Giardino is fabulously located in central Arona, on the shore of Lake Maggiore and immediately connected to the historic and elegant shopping zone with multitudes of cafes and restaurants. The service in the hotel is very efficient, good breakfasts, a bar, great views on the lake side, and most usefully, and excellent attached restaurant (I like it more than others in Arona) for which if asked, the hotel will provide 10% discount cards. The selection of restaurant wines is phenomenal. This is not a five star style of hotel, but it is a fabulous place to stay, as I often do.
