Pros +
- Nothing. The only positive thing is the parking.
- Check-in was very flexible, and they welcomed us warmly at night. The location was amazing as it was right beside the old town. There was a coliseum that was only a 10 min walk. There are also free pastries at the reception after breakfast ends which was nice.
- We were staying for one night to support our son in the Triathlon event. The hotel was perfectly situated for us - a short drive to the coast. The pool was a super bonus and we had a really lovely dinner in the restaurant. The staff were super friendly and helpful. I have stayed in 5 star hotels which didn’t meet the Arena’s standards! The room was huge, clean and very comfortable. I highly recommend the hotel.
Cons -
- Do not trust the pictures of the rooms. The rooms are so dirty and ugly. And it is a 1 star hostel inside. The bath wall was all covered in something white like it was a scene of some adult movie. The walls are very dirty, the ventilation grills were never cleaned and were black of the dust. The smell of the mould is everywhere. It is a 2 star hotel
- There's nothing I didn't like, Maybe the pool wasn't cleaned since it was somewhat cold weather, but that was understandable.
- It would be lovely to have some water and tea & coffee facilities in the room.

The friendly staff, the restaurant and the pool
Missing a small fridge in the room
The staff was very friendly. Very clean. The restaurant annex to the hotel was excellent.
Didn’t have the choice for the breakfast, only the buffet, seem delicious but too much for me for the price.
Very polite and helpful staff, very nice internal garden/pool area, good restaurant inside and professional staff
Very steep staircases and no lifts; very cold rooms.
very nice hotel in the heart of Frejus, kind and helpful staff, excellent breakfast
The location and staff is really nice.
The heating system. The air conditioner is not enough for heating in January. The air conditioner is working very loudly.
Nice spacious room. Well furnished and comfortable. Excellent restaurant. Staff very helpful. Very good value for money.Well located for looking around the town.
The area at the back with the pool is very pretty and relaxing, just as in the picture. Location is convenient to train and the town of frejus. The staff were friendly and polite. The restaurant was excellent. The room was old fashioned but large and had a bath as well as shower .
Nice, spacious, modern and clean roomExcellent restaurant with a very reasonably priced menu and good winesGood parking facility at 9 euro per day
Our room (nr. 52) was on the third floor and the building has no elevator. Not a problem for us, but if it is a problem for you, you better ask for a room on a lower floor when making the reservation.A shower in the room would have been nice. In the room description it was mentioned that the room has a bad only, but the shower could not be attached in a higher position, so you have to sit in the bath tub when using the shower, not very comfortable.
Nice hotel on the edge of there old town and within 20mins walk of the port. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking was provided for 9euro at the rear of the hotel in a secure carpark
Location is key to exploring old town,People were very friendly,Room was great, quiet
Staff was friendly and helpful. Room views great. A quaint hotel with nice ambience.
Great swimming pool
The room was nice but very small
Good breakfast, lovely surroundings.
We found it difficult to find as some nearby roads had become one way and our GPS hadn't updated changes.
Hotel very good value and nice pool and outdoor seating area. Restaurant was great and staff very friendly. Large room, comfortable bed.
Frejus! Pretty old town but with absolutely no life - very very quiet - bit of a ghost town and found it difficult in evenings to find somewhere to eat. Lack of bars that open and opening times everywhere not reliable. Pity as hotel was nice.
The hotel is centrally located in a quiet area with several restaurants There is a private parking. The reception staff were helpful and accommodating. The pool is very nice and larger than expected.
The only problem was trying to get the car from the hotel's parking to the hotel as the traffic is one way. This meant that I had to drive around the town to get back to the hotel.
Lovely hotel, recently upgraded to a high standard. Pool was great as were the staff, very comfortable bed.
No Tea/coffee making facilities in the room and the floor wasn't very clean.
Most aspects were very good.
Steps. Whoever was the architect liked the concept of using various levels for dramatic effect. The result is a trip hazard every few metres. The hotel is unusable by anyone with a mobility issue.
