Campanile Salon-De-Provence

The lady on reception was friendly and helpful.

I've stayed at a few Campanile Hotels and this was by far my worst experience. The room was dated and although usable was in fairly poor condition.generally, with loose fittings in the bathroom The restaurant was closed for refurbishment although there was no evidence of the work actually being started. Having stayed here a couple of years ago it seems to have declined. I would consider staying here again as the location works for us but will be looking for positive reviews that indicate it has improved considerably. before booking.

Usual facilities, which suit our needs for one night. Ground floor room.

Room floor was bitty. Cleaning rag left behind by cleaner.

Convenient location and very kind and helpful staff. Easy parking and relatively quiet neighborhood (save for the roads).

With two people in it, the room was extremely hot. The AC / ventilation system was not sufficient to provide cool air (and we were only in May!). Opening the window might have helped, save for the noise of the neighboring roads.

The receptionist was very kind, polite and helpful, fluent in English with a professional attitude.

That's not a fall of the hotel but some guests without good manners, as my room was full of cigarettes smell. After my complain the receptionist arrived to check and helped to find a solution.

I asked for the green room so nobody should enter and clean the room all change the towels but the second day the cleaning woman came in and picked up all my stuff from the breakfast I kept and also my own banana. She change the towels so I didn’t understand and I was upset because I left all my stuff everywhere because I thought nobody was going to come inside !

The receptionist was very helpful and apologetic

They say 3* but I would put this hotel 1* on a par with a formula 1. Hotel. The floor was dirty the shower had no shower gel/ soap in the dispenser, curtain was off the rail , and a mouldy carton of something was festering in a cupboard. This hotel falls well short of other campanile hotels I’ve stayed in in the past. The rooms need revamping to be classed as a 3 star .

Nothing is missing actually, maybe just towels.

Beds are not of the most comfortable sort but still quite ok.
