Breakfast could be improved. Fresh fruit (vs. canned fruit salads), given the bounty of the region, would have been appreciated. Staff was slow to clean up and replenish food.

TVs - they would turn off by themselves or you couldn’t change the channels. The A/C got loud at times as well. No beach towels nor sun umbrellas - given that people come here for the beaches, having at least sun umbrellas would have been very appreciated. We ended up paying another €125 on towels and sun umbrellas. Also, didn’t appreciate having to pay for breakfast. Not worth the price.

Fabulous staff, pool, wine and dinner

The decor was so lovely and stylish. The staff were extremely helpful and the recommendations for restaurants were spot on. The honesty bar was a lovely touch too..

Wonderfully relaxing and welcoming hotel. Quiet location but just a few minutes' walk to the beach. Some good restaurants nearby. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and helped us feel comfortable with our basic French. Most staff speak good English - but some use of French is going to go a long way. Breakfasts are excellent, for an extra charge. Parking was available on the street in front of the hotel. We warmly recommend the Villa du Moulleau!

Breakfast was simple but great quality, the yoghurt especially were delicious, the room was cosy and private, the view on the garden was peaceful..

What a charming little hotel in the most quaint little town! The hotel's atmosphere and staff made us feel right at home (but even better!!) and the room was beautifully decorated, with a gorgeous bathroom with Nuxe products, and the most lovely balcony overlooking the picturesque garden and pool. The in-house coffee was some of the best we had on our trip through France, and the honesty fridge came in very handy when we decided to have a few champagnes on the beach in the evening! We stayed here en-route from Bordeaux to San Sebastian and it was the perfect stopover to really relax and enjoy this special scenic town (and a lot of oysters!)

Peaceful location but very close to restaurants and bars. Lovely room and a very comfortable bed! Very kind and helpful staff. Lovely pool, quite small but nice to cool off in after a day out. We also swam in the sea which is very close to the hotel. We walked to Arcachon which took us 40-50 minutes on a very hot day, but would recommend doing this. Great market, shops and restaurants in an attractive town. Also worth a trip to Cap Ferret and the lighthouse.We arrived by train and needed to pre arrange a taxi, the hotel advised us of who to use.All in all a very enjoyable few days away, Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Perfect in every way - staff were so friendly and helpful, luxurious rooms, lovely tranquil gardens and super location close to the beach and local restaurants.

Hot water a smidge temperamental but not enough to worry about. We will definitely be back to stay again.

Charming boutique hotel with relaxing garden including pool, excellent and quiet location close to the beach and the pedestrian zone with lots if restaurants and shops, very good breakfast, comfortable beds;

Almost everything was perfect, just minor critical points: no proper fridge in the room, we found cockroaches in the (rather small) bathroom, limited parking spaces

a bit far of in this period of time

A beautiful, freshly renovated hotel that was perfect for our one-night stay in the Arcachon area. They were able to accommodate a change of date at very short notice and the team were very welcoming and friendly. It was out of the main summer season and unfortunately raining but despite that, it was a lovely location and the decor inside the rooms and the reception areas was very tastefully done. The breakfast was delicious, with lots of local products and choice.

A beautiful boutique hotel surrounded by hydrangeas and agapanthus. Very private and quiet located right in the middle of les Moulleau. Gorgeous breakfast, beautiful deco and extremely friendly professional staff. We can’t wait to go back. And…the pool is divine.

Perfect location.The staff are friendly and helpful and take time to offer advice on what to do and where to go in the locality.The breakfast has top quality breads and viennoise from a local boulangerie.Cheese and cold cooked meats as well as some hot options on offer also. Usual juices and fruit salad and cereals.

It is a little loud sometimes in the night, not from people, but the actual building.
