Cons -
- Very small room
- The shower head was broken, didn’t stay up. The entire room was dusty which caused a sore throat and cough, had to keep the window open for better ventilation.
- Swimming pool green. Lift broken. Rooms need better decoration. Felt like I was in a waiting room. Waiting for something better!

The room. The view.
A kettle or coffee/tea machine downstairs would have been handy
Local hotel not far from the beach. A tad old fashioned but doing the job for our one night stay in Arcachon.
The shower is nice and strong but you have to be in the bath to access the shower
Too cramped. No kettle to make coffee or tea in the room
Girls were lovely at the front, made us feel welcome immediately. Location close enough to beach, restaurants, small type supermarkets etc.Would definitely stay again
The proximity. So close to all - yet just "tucked away". Also, I was very impressed with staff - Manon and Julie! They are very personal, professional and attentive. I will come again.
Zilch.
Staff were helpful and welcoming, (Manu was very kind and helpful) . The location of the hotel was perfect for the location of the town. The outward appearance of hotel was very pleasant with some amazing architecture in surrounding streets.
The car park appeared to be too small for the capacity of the rooms. Unfortunately the décoré looked very tired and dated.
The location is very good - quiet and it's a short walk to the beach and restaurants.
The hotel is past its best. The photos make it look a lot better than it actually is. However, I didn't have to pay much, so it's reasonable value for money. Just make sure you're not overpaying.
I am touring France by bicycle and the helpful staff stored my bike in a secure room.
The room was clean and tidy but lacked the amazing charm of the outside of the building. The room was more like you would find in a budget airport hotel.
A VERY beautiful hotelThe furniture and everything is old but tidy and fine with me. The luxury and fashion of the past days! The territory is great, beautiful yard and pool area. A good private car parking.Breakfast was ok for a hotel breakfast.A decade ago this hotel was included in the Michelin guide. You can see why - amazing architecture, location, yard.
My view from the window (I could see the roof and other windows).
Lovely hotel great architecture.
Pleasant staff not to far from local amenities.
Bed comfy. Had everything we needed for one night.
Room very small and couldn't fit luggage in so packed a small bag from car (Llucky we had car). Entrance steps very steep so not suitable for those with mobility problems.
Perfect for a nights stay and staff was helpful
Pool was shut unfortunately so just used the room to sleep in nothing else
Food adequate Staff friendly.
14 steps down uuñingunlit steps into basement Hotel cat running in and out
Nice building, parking place
Breakfast price at 12 E / per with no fruits
Location to beach and facilities
Car parking was restricted but plenty of off site around hotel
Well situated, clean and very comfortable bed
No drawers in the the bedroom . No tea or coffee making facilities in either the room or reception
We enjoyed the historic charm of the building typical to the area. The neighborhood had many villas with similar charm and made it enjoyable to walk to the beach promenade which was a short 5-10min walk from the hotel. The room and bathroom were clean and had everything we needed. Even so we did not need the air conditioning during our stay, but I can see that being a plus if it does get hot. I particularly enjoyed the pool for my morning laps. We did not eat the breakfast, it looked good with fresh croissants etc. Overall, the hotel was quiet, I was concerned with the old building that it would be noisy but at least during our stay it was surprisingly quiet.
The old villa charm also carries forward into the interior and in general everything was old/dated on the inside. The room and bed were tiny and closet space was even tinier but worked for us since we were not at the hotel all day. Parking was challenging, the hotel does not have enough parking spaces for all hotel guests. Street parking in the neighborhood was permitted but parking was scarce. We were lucky enough to find a parking spot every day in the hotel parking lot, but it's a hit and miss.
