Thalazur Arcachon - Hôtel & Spa

Really basic facility and expensive ,check in was at 4pmmm,it was not ready till 6pmThen you can’t have access to spa till you check in!!!!And spa will finish at6.15 pmI’m sorry Put your money in trash??????

I found a bog mouse in my balcony at first night when I just booked an expensive junior suit?I told reception but Nobody care,and in reception it was just one solo woman, Then breakfast was really normal ,I asked for omelette or fried egg absolutely they didn’t care,For sun tanning and out door pool ,lots of people with just 20 subbed ?No service near the poolI just put my towel and sleep. Near to pool

We had an amazing weekend at this hotel! The location is unbeatable, just a 5-minute walk from the beach, which made our trip even more special. The staff were absolutely wonderful, always friendly and attentive. The hotel bar serves fantastic cocktails, perfect for unwinding after a day in the sun or in the spa.A special touch that made our stay even better was the warm welcome for our dog! She was greeted with surprise treats and a bowl in our room, which was such a thoughtful detail. It was a great experience for all of us.We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back!

- spa swimming pool - in room dining- Quality of mattress- bed for 6 years old child - we are returning customers so it must be not too bad

-- bar service . Discussing with other customers.- I was the only other customer, 2 meters from him. Did not dare to come to see me to tell me if I wanted something. After 10 mn, I had to ask him to come ....- réception. Gave me door keys that were not working Didn't apologize when I had to go back to have them fixed .- spa swimming pool only available for children between 5:30 and 7:30pm. Made it impossi le for us to go based on our constraints- hôtel restaurant : average expérience last time, do we skipped - breakfast service : not a the standard for such an hôtel .the tables were not set and you have to bring everything yourself . I expect more from such an hôtel - lighting in the room not light enough

Difficult to find drinking cups to fill up in the pool area. Would like to have nice drinks and snacks served by the pool

Maybe a bit far out of Arcachon . About €23 taxi but bus outside for €1

Wonderful hotel, great location and staff but restaurant is slightly overpriced

The room was clean but very small for the price.

The price was much higher than neighboring hotels. They touted their therapy center, but it was mostly a warmish pool with bubbles and jets. It had limited hours. The outdoor pool was slightly too cold for a resort pool. No one stayed in long due to the temperature. They did not allow personal swimwear, and required me to purchase theirs for 20 euros which I will only use once.

Great location, close to the beach and a lot of possibilities for walks on the beach and near by. Really enjoyed the SPA and swimming pool as well.

Nothing really. It is a shame that there is the construction site nearby, but there was no work going on, no noise or other nuisance.

The breakfast offered was a good selection but lunch, dinner was limited. Room service was ok except it was mostly under seasoned. The quiche was burned and tasteless but burger, fries and wrap were all ok. Staff were very willing to be helpful.The bathroom products were great and a really good size for the rooms. Tea and coffee facilities were great too.The bathrobes were exceptionally soft- maybe the best I have ever had in a hotel. Towels were worn out and need replacing though. Hairdryer was pathetic and cut out when overheating. TV only offered French channels, shame no netflix or smart tv options to log into.

I am really cross that my husband was not allowed to use the indoor pool. We were not informed prior to our arrival of the weird requirement only applicable to men who must wear tight speedos rather than swimming shorts. The reason given made no sense (apparently people in shorts wee in the indoor pool and this is unhygienic; pockets on shorts fill with water- which is untrue as swimming short pockets are made of webbing). We should have been informed in advance as the indoor facilities were the main reason we stayed there. We won’t stay again as the indoor spa is the main asset otherwise it is away from the town centre and food options were limited in that area.

The hotel, spa , location and the great team working at Thalazur Arcachon.

They could improve by showing their customers around the hotel and sap areas and Thames time to explain what’s available. Just little information will go long way.

Location was very good

Building work/view of a two tall cranes, swimming there no sun beds available, close in door poor and have to walk through restaurant to get into main hotel from out door pool. Rubbish towels for pool area, no kids room, not a family hotel.

Location is perfect just around the corner from a beautiful sandy beach and lovely little restaurant.Spa is superb. Every treatment was excellent. Indoor pool, Haman and sauna were fabulous . Excellent muscle relaxing jets in the pool . Outdoor pool is also great - a nice length for swimming laps. Water refreshing

Room was ok

This was primarily a day spa and not a hotel. When the spa closed at 19.00 everything closed.

We liked the spa pool and the outdoor one. The restaurant was very good too. The nearness to the sea was lovely. The town was great & the surrounding places to visit. Our room & outlook was enjoyable too. Good parking as well.

Although my room wasn't great, the overall hotel was outstanding. We spent so much time in the pool and spa and loved every minute. It was so relaxing which we needed. Excellent breakfast as well. Very luxurious property.

Unfortunately my room wasn't the greatest. One of the only rooms without a balcony and over the main entrance. So when coaches came in to load up groups, they normally kept their engines running and it woke me up.Also, at breakfast once I went to get a second cappuchino from the machine and they had been turned off (end of breakfast service) so I was told to go to the bar. However, the bar charged me 7 euros ... very disappointing !

Nice room, a lot of space. Perfect with the room service. Very friendly staff.

There were huge, noisy construction activities in front of the balcony, between hotel and the sea. Of course not to be avoided, but information before would have been fair. Then there would have been the choice of another room.Although sea side no view.

Only when we have already booked a Superior room with Spa access for one night for all of the family to enjoy spa facilities we received a message from the hotel that kids under 12 cannot use the pool except from 17:30 to 19:15 (or 18:15 on Sunday, 45 minutes!). Okay, we decided to extend our room till 18:00 for an extra payment, but it still meant we can only be in the spa for 30 minutes. We were not allowed to extend room a bit more, no one proposed a solution except for paying again a full spa access which was included in our room, ‘all managers are busy’. As a result, our little daughter crying with her five swimsuits traveled in vain, so disappointing. Staff at the spa not customer oriented at all, their unprofessionalism resulted in our money wasted.Not recommended for families with young kids.
