Royal Spa Hotel

The food was fantastic, the lobby and the room was nice clean and hot, and there were a lot of attractions in the SPA zone.

Some of the waiters were not for this job. They didn’t clear the empty plates from our table. Also i had to wait 10 minutes at the bar to pay my bill, because nobody came to our table for a long time.The spa zone was not in good condition with out of order attractions like outside jacuzzi and cold pool. The water in all of the pools was not so clean, the hotel was full of guests but this did not excuse the bad water condition in the pools. The room was too dark, the lamps were not bright enough.

Breakfast and dinner were excellent. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice and clean spa. Very good and varied massage options.

Rooms show signs of ageing and need renovation, especially the bathrooms. Spa zone gets a bit crowded at times.

The water in the pools was cold.There is no good Internet.The TV remotely and air-conditioning control didn't work properly.

The room was super spacious, the food was great, and the staff was nice. The whole spa experience was excellent, including the massage. The fitness had everything we needed. There was a playroom with backgammon, chess (these two were free), two pool tables, poker tables, darts and arcade games. We had a wonderful experience.

Some of the pools were dirty, the other guests were not good company and because of them, we won't come again

Good Location,easy to find it.Food was good and taste.There is outdoor pool with hot water-was nice and comfortable.Staff was friendly.

The rooms was darks and tiny.The bathroom was tiny as well and also everything was old-at least our room was.Indoor pool was too small for the capacity and we couldn’t used because was full with people.The hotel is not exactly like pictures and level isn’t enough for this money.

Poor choice of food. My wife and I got food poisoning in the hotel restaurant.

Relatively clean

No water in the entire hotel right before dinner and right after visiting the spa - happened once but was truly disappointing and made it very uncomfortable at the time;Breakfast and dinner included in stay - however, you can have free drinks at breakfast but you have to pay for any drink (even water) at dinner, which doesn't make any senseMineral water pools were cold on 2 out of 4 days - it was uncomfortable staying in the water and it could give you a coldRoom didn't even have a table in it

Saturday when spa is about limits

Use to be a very good hotel back in the days, but it is going down very quickly. There are lots of gypsy crowds they're always by 20,30 people doing whatever they want and nobody can tell them a thing.

Staff was very helpful. Have nice kids playground and resonable prices.

Cold swimming pool, not enough sunbeds and space for people to leave towels. Too small jacuzzi and too small hot swimming pool.

The hotel is well furnished and cosy, the spa is large and relatively well maintained.

The interior of the hotel is a little bit weared, the spa is overcrowded and misses some things such as aroma in the arome sauna, hot water in the roman bath pool and etc.

- Fantastic breakfast and dinner. We have been staying at Royal Spa occasionally since 2017 and the quality and variety food has been really top for us.- Quiet rooms.- Multiple and spa facilities.- It was nice to swim in the larger pool

- Previously the water in the pools was much warmer.- Parking places could be short of availability, if the hotel is fully booked.- The hotel is super nicely maintained, but the moment you are out of any Velingrad hotel, dirty streets, holes on the roads, dogs, no paths to walk around the hills.

The hotel has exceptional staff and facilities. The room was huge and had one of the best bathrooms in a hotel ever. The breakfast and dinner were good with plenty of food to choose from. The spa was okay. The fitness has good equipment. The hotel is big, it has several interesting activities you can do inside that can keep you and your kids occupied throughout the day (excluding the obvious ones like spa and fitness).

The hot water in the thermal pools didn't have a consistent temperature. Also, the SPA is not that big and it gets overcrowded during weekend or big company events.

Victoria Spa in the hotel is amazing. The biggest plus is its opening time which was 8am till 9pm. We also use the Bali massage - highky recommended. The staff is courteous and helpful, everyone in the hotel was kind and attentive.The food in the restaurant was very tasty and abundant. I would definitely go again.

The lighting in the room was really bad. I would have appreciated some additional and stronger bulbs

The room was good. Breakfast also was good. The stuff was very pleasure and responsible. The kids are is good and the stuff there also very kindness.

The spa is not what I expected, some of the stuff did not work. Water in the pool was no so much clean and I'm not sure if it was mineral. It needs more maintained. For the dinner there are not enough space for all of the guest of the hotel

Perfect spa zone, many pools - hot, cold and medium temperature. Very tasty food. Every time there's a specialty dish from the chef, even though there's plenty of all you can eat different foods. Nice lobby bar, outside bar near the pool. Different games for having fun for all ages

The spa facilities are wonderful.We had to change rooms with a single person in our party due to this hotel, not being suitable for people with mobility problems which my wife suffers from.There is only a lift in one part of the building and the deluxe double we had booked was not in that part with lots of steps and corridors to negotiate to access. Both rooms were great but a small double was a struggle for us to stay in for a week.It's a great hotel if you are mobile, if not it is a struggleThe restaurant is good with a good choice for Breakfast and dinner.

There is no elevator to each floor and you have to go up and down the stairs with baby carriage or wheelchairs, which is terribly inconvenient! There is no facility for people with wheelchairs or baby carriages. The tub has no handles on the inside to grab in and go out, it's easy to slip and fall- my cousin did it. There is no third towel in front of tab.
