    Pros +

    • Great pool to cool off in after a day at the sites. Hotel staff were very kind and breakfast was quite modest. I would definitely stay here again.
    • The entire property was beautiful - I mainly saw it at night, but the pool and the courtyard were lovely to walk around, and the room itself had an old style feel but was very comfortable. I went through some back streets to reach the property, and was surprised how safe it felt.
    • Exceptional views of the mountains. Very friendly and helpful staff even with the language barrier. Amazing food in local restaurant and pub. A big thankyou to Anna, Melania, and Mario for an unforgettable stay.

    Cons -

    • Instructions for the safe were confusing.
    • The location is a bit out of the way, and was a fair bit of a walk (25min) from the nearest train station. There is a bus but I wasn't sure how to get a ticket. It would be easier to reach with a car or taxi. I went to Pompeii in the morning and worked out it would have been just as easy to come from Salerno as from Scafati.
    • Not much variety for the breakfast, could do with some choices of bread, fruits and veggies

    Pool was great, service also.

No hot water in the shower. Also pillow was hidden in the closet.

Quiet location for our ongoing travels , very very close to Pompei, free parking

Mario on reception, an asset to the hotel, very helpful, and a lovely guy. Comfortable beds, powerful shower, beautiful views, a clean and well maintained pool and pool area, well kept and peaceful garden, and excellent cleanliness.

The location. A little remote, difficult to find using Apple Maps and booking.com location map. What Three Words would be useful.

The setting was very nice. It was nice to have a pool. We enjoyed the food in the hotel restaurant which was within walking distance. Raffaele, the pizza chef, was excellent. On the whole the staff were pleasant.

Breakfast was limited. It would have been nice to have tea/ coffee facilities in the room. In the corner of the parking area, we found a dog in a cage. He was severely neglected! It really upset uscto see such a beautiful dog in this way. We fed him twice daily whilst there and topped up his water. We spoke to the staff and owner about this! Who promised to take better care of the dog. It appeared that when we checked again he had food, water and his cage had been cleaned which we were pleased about. We were assured that this would continue, and as we visit Italy frequently, we will check regularly!

Nice garden. Decent room. Good restaurant can be found in 3 mins walking. The area of the hotel is not attractive, but inside the garden is marvelous. Free parking. View from the room was really nice from our room

Breakfast: if you are not early, the selection is apalling, not refilled. I thought that in Italy I can not find bad coffee. Well I did, here Certain staff members should learn how make it. Had issues with electricity in the room took them 2 days to fix it?! The weekend staff was not speaking English, communication was hard No hot water in the shower 2 times during our stay. Forgot to tell us that there are evens in the garden. This can be quite noisy.

The location was good but you need a car

No air-conditioning on arrival, very noisy due to a party hold at the hotel, the wiue of the room with just one window was not nice at all.

The building from the outside is beautifulNice PoolLovely large balcony

Not close to Scafati Centre ( 15 min walk) or train station (25 min walk)Fishy smell coming from bathroom in room ( couldnt bear the smell so couldnt face showering in morning of departure so glad it was just one night stayScatter cushions stainedNo pillows on beds ( found on floor in storage cupboard)Due to smell couldnt face breakfast. Howling and barking dog in property right next to hotel all night. No one on duty to tell as they finished at midnight.

The staff were very attentive and kind. They spoke English very well. The hotel looks lovely and is typical Italian in style.

The room looked tired and could do with decoration. No hand soap in the bathroom.

cute house, adorable decoration and nice personnel

room a bit small and suffocating when hot

good breakfast. a lot of parking space

in the middle of the night suddenly an emergency light switched on for 2 hours it made us sleep bad

    6EmmaPosted on: 9-11-2022

    very friendly host

breakfast was only dry cakes two of our rooms smelt of eggs lack of restaurant choices nearby and things to do without a car

    9ØsterdahlPosted on: 7-28-2022

Wonderful pool with Roman styled elements. It was opened from early morning to midnight, so we could bathe several times a day. The room was not very big, but you got everything you need. It was clean and smelled good. Some rooms got a veranda, but not the one we got. Breakfast buffet had a good selection of italian and continental foods and drinks. The streets around the hotel are not very beautiful, but once you get inside the gate it's like a little haven. The hotel building has a mix of wood and stone and looks nice and stylish. The garden is beautiful with lots of flowers, bushes and palm trees. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Quiet and peaceful place. Good aircondition.

Garbage on the surrounding streets. Beds a bit hard. Drain in the sink a bit closed up. Not the best pressure in the shower.

The pool, good meals at the restaurant very near. Thanks for the staff very helpfull

swimming pool was fabulous. restaurants attached to hotel were good value for money and great food. Room cleaning was done daily. distance from train data took was only about a 20 minute walk but in 36c heat it was too much . definitely need a car.

breakfasts were limited and had run out if you went later in the morning and it wasnt replenished. it was in a bit of a run down area. I felt safe enough though being a single mum with 2 teenagers.

    9HannaPosted on: 6-22-2022

Great location, nice and helpful stuff.

There were some private loud parties at the property.

    9CarmelPosted on: 6-16-2022

Breakfast was good and plentiful. The room was spacious and kept clean at all times. We did not use the pool but it looked very inviting. The mini fridge in the room was a blessing.

The only thing we noticed was that if one went to breakfast after 8.30 am, some of the savory food ran out and it was not replenished. A little more attention is needed for routine maintenance. Our room had a burnt lamp and the toilet seat was loose, everything else was functional.
