Very close to Pompeii

I have a room with door outside which made me a little uncomfortable for my safety. However all was quiet and no people hanging around during night time.

The location was next to Pompei. Just a short walk about 200 yards. Great hotel especially for the price.

Great staff. Great breakfast. Great room. Great value.. Right next door the Pompeii ruins. Train, bus, taxi and food within walking distance.

Could not reach the free oranges in the trees without a ladder... ?

November 2025, stayed 3 nites.All the staff was very helpful and had answers to all questions.Room was clean and comfortable.Entrance to the ruins was right there. Train station was a 6 minute walk. Taxis were also available by the train station.

Bathroom was a tad small but not enough to take away the 10 rating.WiFi was off and on, but that’s seems to be common thru out Italy.Breakfast was a typical Italian one.Lighting was on the dim side but also not bad enough.

What a great location, everything we needed for a visit to Pompei. Great parking, nice breakfast, excellent service. So glad we stayed there!

location is perfect. Cannot be closer from the entry of the site but it's better to be farther and being comfortable!

I never slept in a such narrow bed. The mattress is very hard and so uncomfortable.Little tiny room.All night there was a noise like loud running water.There is NO GARDEN! Just a view to the parking lot!We booked for a queen bed but got the 2 tiny beds.This place is only good because of the location.Breakfast ok.

When we arrived and checked in the guy that checked us in was very friendly and helpful, he couldnt have been better. The location was excellent right next to the train station that allowed us to plan travel easily. Staff throughout the week were lovely and helpful , provided us a kettle and tea during our stay. A lovely rooom and balcony so no complaints.

Ther bar and restaurant complex closes too early around six and if you want somrthing to eat or drink after this you have to go to the town centre nearly 2k way. Staff here not nearly as friendly as in the hotel part.

No windows in the room, except for the small skylight

This hotel is located right next to the Pompeii train station and just steps from the main entrance to the Pompeii Archaeological Park—super convenient! We arrived late in the evening, and the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was served across the street and included coffee, juice, yogurt, milk, croissants, and some apples.We only stayed one night, but the hotel kindly allowed us to store our luggage while we visited the park. We started our morning around 9:00, had breakfast, and walked just a few minutes to enter the ancient city of Pompeii. We spent the whole day exploring the incredible 2,000-year-old ruins, then returned to the hotel to pick up our luggage and catch our next train to Sorrento. It was perfect!

There were some mosquitoes when we checked in so we had to have a mosquito fight before we finally settled in.

I booked a double room with a balcony near the train station specifically because I travel by train and needed easy access. However, upon arrival, I was informed that I would be staying at a different hotel, located on a hill, quite a distance away. I had to walk up with my luggage, which was very inconvenient after a long journey.

Friendly staff, clean bedroom, breakfast was as expected.

Bedroom was in an apart hotel in another street 350 meters from the head entrance. In the room the tv was not giving any channel, the airconditioning was not working and a socket was not giving any electricity.

We were very kindly and warmly welcomed to the hotel. The room was clean, tidy and comfortable. The hotel is really close to Pompeii ruins, so we could arrive there within a 3 min walk. The bed was too soft for me, but perfect for my wife. I'd surely stay there when visiting Pompeii again.

The shower was small and not draining well and dirty

The location, near railway station and Pompeii ruins is a very good starting point to visit all area.The reception and housekeeping staff were polite and helpful.

We booked knowing the hotel has its own restaurant, asumming we'll have the breakfast inside the hotel.We found out that acutually we will stay in a location 500 m away from the main buliding and only 20 m away from a railway crossing, where a train pass every 20 minutes and the barriers lower after 2 minutes of loud bell ringing... All day long, starting from 6 am to 22 pm. The restaurant is actually a public plazza, used by the groups as meeting point for visiting Pompeii.If arrive around 9 am at the breakfast, there are good chances to not find a place to stay on the terrace, while inside it looks outdated, with basic layout and furniture.Breakfast was on the poor side - a ham, a salami and a cheese, some yogurt and lots of cakes and pastries. No fruits, no vegetables, no eggs.

The location was fantastic, close to the train station and entrance to the Pompeii ruins, room was comfortable. Easy walking distance to the modern town of Pompeii and restaurants around the ruin entrances. Quiet area for campervans as well.

It was early in the season and the onsite restaurant wasn't open in the evenings for food. Breakfast was a bit basic and lacking fresh juice despite oranges growing onsite!

Location for Pompeii ruins is excellent. Room for 5 was big, with facilities for cooking and eating. Clean and pristine.

Distance from Reception and breakfast was a bit too far for comfort. We were staying about 100m away, in Hotel Diomede. Not a huge issue but not ideal.

hotel location different than Hotel Zeus - it was actually Villa Domede, 600 meters away, right next to the railway crossing - wake-up calls from 6 a.m. guaranteed.
