Hotel Nelton

Grounds, breakfast,

room small, old shower. Scratchy towels, location. No drinking water in room. I had to Put luggage on balcony as not eough space in the room. Shower did not drain properly so my feet got a bath while I was showering.

Pool was lovely- music was great. Breakfast was excellent

Neighborhood us a bit sketchy and dirty

Staff helpful and friendly. Chef was good and the food was good.

Shower was not working properly. The bed was squeaky. Certainly not a 4 star hotel!!

People where very kind and willing to help.

Cleanness and maintenance was not good at all, they had wifi issues (they where working to solve it)

Beautiful modern resort, beautiful environment with palm trees ? staff at a high level ? absolutely everything was great. Also breakfast. We recommend it to everyone ?

Everything was great ?

The beds were really comfy and the pool was nice. Good shower pressure and the rooms were modern.

The cleaning staff never changed our beds or gave us fresh towels. We had to ask for new towels and they were angry about it. We also asked for late checkout and was denied which is fair enough if they needed the room but then they said we couldn't use the pool until we needed to leave, even though it was only an extra hour and a half. Also forced to pay to hire beach towels half way through the stay to use the pool. This was addressed and the pool by staff standing and pointing and talking about us for about 30 minutes before a manager actually came out and was impolite about it. Felt like some more local guests and staff were actually mad we were there and just stared at us all the time for no reason. Often uncomfortable around the pool. Breakfast is poor pastries overcooked and not a lot of options if you don't like fruit and yoghurt...

It was very well organised , clean , with various activities for people to do . Very relaxing environment and friendly and professional staff ?

Only down side , if you had to reach the hotel by public transport it would be tricky . Apart from that , it was Awesome ?

Everything! The staff was incredibly friendly and always happy to help. The pool was great for an afternoon swim after exploring Pompeii. We also enjoyed an excellent dinner at the hotel and found the breakfast very good. The room was spacious, with solid air-conditioning. Easy drive to Pompeii and also Sorrento. We would come back any time!

A bit far from everything.

Breakfast pretty good for Italian hotels. Roughly 3 miles from Pompeji site. very nice garden and pool. Parking directly there on open air, but closed and safe area.

Breakfast and Restaurant in the basement, not so nice, compared the very nice dining room upstairs, which cannot be used for hotel guests. The area around the hotel is a bit "rural".

The attitude of the staff is outstanding and very personal! The chef is great and the menu is authentic. A relaxing and beautiful place to stay at. Pompei is close but only accessed by car.

1) Had a SUPERB view of Vesuvio and was close to Pompeii. 2) ALL staff and in house restaurant were CONSISTENTLY helpful and excellent. 3) Exterior parking lot for our car was large and very secure; hotel is in a quiet residential neighborhood in Scafani. 5) Housekeeping was good as well. In general, Hotel Nelton was a low key, friendly environment for our four day stay.

Nice garden and swimming pool. The reception staff was nice. Breakfast is adequate, although it would be better if it wasn't exactly the same every day.

The rooms are very small. Our rooms were next to the breakfast room, and from 7am every morning there was constant noise, shouting and door slamming. The water from the air condition of the room above us was continuously dripping to our terrace. There were some brown stains on the clean towels and also on the bed linen. The was hair on the shower wall when we took over the room. Not the hotel's fault, but the second half of our stay was spoilt by the fact that an amusement park had been set up directly next to the hotel, with extremely loud music in the evenings until midnight. On the last afternoon of our stay the pool area was closed for a private event, and this was not communicated in a timely manner. The receptionist told us about it an hour before the closing when we accidentally bumped into each other.

Quiet location, nice pool

“Upgrade” a bit of a con, as receptionist said every room in the hotel was identical when we asked if there were any larger rooms. We extended 3 nights, on separate bookings on Booking.com, all at same or higher price, but when we asked for another bottle of water the receptionist said it was only free on the first of the nights! Any logic there?

Quiet suburb location, clean with nice pool

“Discounts” are misleading, as all the rooms are the same, as we were told when we asked if they had a bigger room, & they all include breakfast ?

Limited breakfast, as the same every day. Bar closed at 9.30pm every night. Staff very friendly & helpful. Great to have a lovely pool, without lots of guests or children.

Luca and Tanya were very helpful, kind and accommodating. They eagerly answered all our questions and gladly suggested on places to visit and how to easily get there. They made us feel comfortable and welcomed. All the staff were kind and nice even the cleaning ladies. We would definitely stay in this hotel again if we would go on holiday in the south. Very close to Pompeii and Naples center. Breakfast was also yummy, although I think coffee can still be improved.

Swimming pool time can be extended till 9pm instead of 6.30pm since the sun is still up at that time in the summer. It would be nice to have a relaxing time in the pool after a day of sightseeing.

nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff, hotel ideal as a base for visiting pompei and Naples etc

not much going on around the hotel so you needed to go out to find Resteraunt’s by car, the local town Scafati is not up too much at all
