- All was good EXCEPT WE RESERVED A PREMIUM ROOM WHICH IT WAS! EXCEPT the noise, I think from the kitchen was disturbing. Most especially late at night and into early morning

Cons -
- The only thing I would improve on would be the bathroom lighting because the overhead recessed lights over the vanity cause lots of shadowing on the face and the back light on the mirror was not strong enough to allow for easy makeup application. For me, lighting is very important especially at a bathroom vanity. Also, the morning breakfast area, while having a beautiful view with the large windows, should provide some type of sun firltering screen when the sun is shinning full force into the dining area.

- Non-hotel guests at pool, although there is a sign that hotel pool is for guests, non- hotel guests smoking and using glassware as ashtrays! Pretty uncomfortable if you can’t move to another location due to crowded conditions!

The location is awesome and so is the staff!
While the hotel had some positives, I was let down by a few key areas. The room was much smaller than I anticipated for the price, and the bed and pillows were unfortunately very hard. issue. I know that many European beds are firmer, but this one was uncomfortably hard and made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. Additionally, the breakfast options were quite limited. I hope this feedback can be helpful for future guests.
Exceptional location, proximity to the ocean.
Old carpet in the room - smells humidity.
Great breakfast, comfortable rooms. Very nice pool and excellent location for walking into town.
The hotel is beautifully located with stunning views. The room was space and nicely decorated. The city Cascais was within walking distance and is beautiful with many attractions.
The carpet flooring is out dated, stained and not hygienic. It has stains all over from room down the stairs. The sun umbrellas were dirty stained and so was the wall at pool. The breakfast was $ 30/ person a day-over priced. The place needs some up keep.
We had a perfect stay at Farol Hotel, delicious breakfast, pool area with an incredible view.
OMG. Where do I start? Hotel is nested next to marina in center of Cascais. It is well maintained, and comfortable. Rooms are good size, storage and bed is comfortable as dream.
I loved it all.
Lovely location and great view !
The rooms were smelly and stuffy
Rooms were very comfortable and the ocean view was the best! Breakfast buffet is very good. We had delicious dinner at the Mediterranean restaurant, my daughters could also order Sushi there. This is an excellent boutique hotel in a great location for sightseeing and other restaurants.
We have liked everything this hotel offers.
Excellent facilities - bar, restaurant and outdoor area are impressive
Room was disappointing in comparison to rest of hotel. Lino floors and tired furniture. No sockets to charge phone - had to chose to have bedside lamp or charge phone. Bathroom was impressive but drains smelt. Apparently other rooms would have been better. Do not stay in 304!!
- The pool area was nice- The sea view from the restaurants and from some of the rooms, is nice. - Right on the walking path
- The pictures advertised on Booking and the hotel website, don’t correspond to the actual room we got. - We paid for a suite, and we received a room (not shown in the pictures), with an old/old toilet area, old floors, I mean, in serious need of remodeling, and with tiny with windows. definitively not worth the €800 per night we paid. - Some of the front desk staff specially Nuno were not too welcoming- to say the least.
restaurant shushi not well run poor selection and even that was not available and waiter took 7 mins to find out
This exceeded our expectations. Our room was wonderful, with our own private veranda. The food was fresh and beautifully presented. The staff couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. It's in a great location for exploring Cascais but felt peaceful and restful, especially by the pool. We definitely will return
We loved it
In our garden room some people (neighbours) decided to walk in front and look inside. We complained and the hotel reacted to fix it
Lovely location, stunning views and very comfortable hotel, with lots of nice touches and superb breakfasts. It is away from the town centre, which we preferred, but still very walkable and quite a lot of things (beach, galleries/museums, restaurants, parks, lighthouse, etc) are in the immediate vicinity. We appreciated it being a relatively small hotel.
The only thing I would really fault is the rather weak wifi, in some public areas but also in our particular room. Sometimes I resorted to using data on my phone.
Great experience! Beautiful location, great facilities and staff
Not access to the sea
Relaxing, charming boutique hotel. You feel relaxed inside this hotel in the beautiful Cascais. The staff is very polite and friendly.
Really nothing bad
Breakfast had amazing choice, with views of sea. The pool was amazing to relax at and be right beside the sea. Location was perfect quiet but easy walk to town and beach. Room was spacious and had brilliant shower and again sea views and turndown service was excellent
The bikes for rental at the hotel needed some upkeep but we got some from a nearby rental shop!
