Lovely building and town. Nice people and very good coffee and bread in the breakfast.

It was freezing cold in a surprisingly cold winter night. Even the water was cold. In the breakfast the bacon and eggs were already looking very dry at 9:15.

Room was awful, no carpet shower door was broken, there was no desk to work on, bathroom very small no trash bin, pillows were terrible

A charming hotel with wonderful staff and a really nice restaurant and bar. Very good breakfast. We slept well. We would definitely go back again. Only half an hour's drive from Munich by car.

Generous parking. Great dinner and ambiance. Convenient location in the countryside.

In one of the rooms the hairdryer was not working. And when we've asked about it they were already aware, but it wasn't fixed.

Location: perfect. You can park your car and, if you prefer, reach Munich by public transportation (bus station is 1 minute distance). Room: very nice. Dinner and breakfast: simply amazing

A pretty, traditional hotel just as it appears in photos. The manager helped me check in one hour early because it was raining.Do any shopping before you head to the property. Quiet.The restaurant dinner felt exotic. About 25-30 euros for a meal and drink.

Despite being about 10 kilometers from major roads, it felt much more isolated, which of course isn't entirely bad. Don't expect socializing or shopping or sightseeing in the village. Just FYI.The 949 bus simply did not come twice, once on my way there and once leaving the next morning. The 963 bus thankfully stuck to its schedule.

After a long day of drive (holiday), we stopped at Landgasthof Böck hotel for one night. What an amazing surprise for our first time.The hotel manager was so welcoming and extremely kind, he put my little family at ease to feel like we were at home. The property is remarkably outstanding! Typical Bavarian style and so natural. The room we had (for 3 people) was super clean and so comfortable. The staff was great! We had dinner at their restaurant and the food was very delicious for a reasonable price. The breakfast was a big positive point for my family!Overall my staying at this hotel was the very best part of my family's 2-day road trip. Next year we'll go back there, that's a must 'go to stay at'.I would very strongly recommend this place to anyone who seeks a very authentic, natural and pleasant place.Thank you a million times to the hotel manager and his staff! I have great memories and even though it is already September now, I still think about the hotel like I was there yesterday!

Maybe there are 'negative' things to think about but from my point of view I only have positive things in mind after my staying.

Very big room with TV. Hotel was easy to find. A fridge on the landing with beer and water in.

All rooms on second floor with no lift. Very old style furnishings. No brew making facilities at all. Fridge on landing for cold drinks had beer but no wine.

Beautyfull oldstile gasthaus in very quiet village, with very kind staff, away from heavy traffic but close enough to autobahn . Owesome rich breakfast with all you want. And i highly recommend their food in biergarten. Big salads are awesome.Bedroom was big enough with wardrobe and comfortable wc and shower.

I know that the house is very old, full of wooden parts but maybe there is too much squeaking in bedrooms when you walk. You can hear every step.And my bed was not comfortable, too soft and old.

The location from the Munich center is very far. The breakfast was not good. We asked for well-done cooked eggs, and the lady there refused, the juice tastes sour like it's not good. Some staff there are friendly and welcoming, others are not. We arrived at 2.54 yet the main door was closed and we walked around to find someone to talk to to enter.

Proximity to train station. Clean. Friendly staff.

Shower door was completely broken so we could not use the shower.

I have stayed together with my 11 year old son 4 nights during Euro 2024 between 14 and 18 June at Landgasthof Böck.It is a real jewel,owned by the lovely and hospitable Wankerl family .It is situated in a relaxing quiet area with beautiful homes and some other bed and breakfasts just perfect to sleep well at night and recharge batteries after the busy days and nosy days at Euro 2024 football games .There is fresh air from sorrounding forests and they have a big parking space just on the property.The breakfast is very tasty and offers great selection of organic cereals,omlett,boiled eggs ,many types of cheeses and cold cuts,fresh bread , good quality fruit juices,milk,youghurts ,organic tea,honey,butter etc. It has easy access with public transportation to Marien Platz,Allianz Arena ,Olimpia Park and fan zone within 1 hour and to all the other main attractions in Munich.Public Bus stop is just in front of Landgasthof Bock bed and breakfast.The rooms are big,beds comfortable and everything is in real Bavarian wooden style also the furniture is made with good taste and out of real wood not plywood :-)So one gets the real feeling of staying in Bavaria.They also have a Biergarten /Restaurant where one can eat dinner and or see some of the Euro 2024 games.We highly recommend it to everyone and will definitely be back !

The only thing you have to consider if you travel by public transportation after 9 pm you have to take an uber or taxi from the airport as bus connections don't operate in Gauting were the Landgasthof Bock bed and breakfast is located after 9 pm

Tons of character and old world charm

Beds were horrible. Old, creaky and uncomfortable. Room was very small

Brekafast was simple, but fresh and delicious. Waiter was very friendly and helpful. Drink fridge in upstairs lobby is a great idea.

Slightly cleaner room please. One from our tree rooms was not perfect.

What a great place! outside the city but with all convenience of the hotel, very comfortable bed, clean and nice furnished room, great food in the restaurant ? big parking lot with lights, quiet neighborhood.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was excellent. So much choice. Would definitely recommend. We will stay here again.

The bathrooms could do with being updated.
