    Pros +

    • Fantastic food and location
    • An incredible beautiful old boutique hotel adjacent to a well-preserved medieval abbey. The restaurant is phenomenal and they gave a large garden where they grow their own vegetables and herbs. Ask for the Charles De Gaulle room. Staff is over the top welcoming and helpful. Great stopover if traveling between Côte d’Azur and Provence.
    • The suites are glorious and very well equipped, the terrace and the indoor rooms for dining are picturesque and very elegant. Food is inventive and completely gorgeous.

    Cons -

    • The drain in the shower wasn't adequate
    • There was an empty bottle of champagne from a previous client under our bed
    • Nothing. Loved everything and didn't want to leave. The staff in particular are truly outstanding with their welcome and generosity throughout the stay.

    The historic building and garden

Dated bathroom, no facility for a coffee or drink, averaged service, dated pool house and no pool attendant, noisy breakfast staff outside from 6am

Lovely peaceful location. Very nice staff. Great food. Beautiful property. Extremely well thought thro' to reflect traditional Provence - nightshirts provided with turn down service, Nuxe bathroom products etc

Getting luggage from parking up a lot of stairs to room difficult.

    10LucyPosted on: 7-19-2024

Lovely rooms, clean, tastefully furnished. Nice touches such as a nightshirt and nuxe products. They also parked your car and brought it round again on our checkout day. Food was exceptional.

Pretty property full of character with lovely gardens. On site restaurant does good job yet very expensive for value. Nice staff all around.

Price and * rating. Definitively not a 5* property with pool area needing spruce up and gardens, overall service and amenity not to 5* standard.

Staff lovely, very calm location , diner was excellent

    9FionaPosted on: 3-27-2024

The food is amazing, staff attentive and out room beautiful . Was greeted with a cup of tea and a pastry which was really unexpected

Garden furniture was tired and needing tables cleaning - but did go in March so low season but a poor first impression as we parked at the back and walked in through the garden

The place itself is a dream. The garden, the setting, the decor, the restaurant, the bedroom are all so subtle in their decoration. Chic and classic but not too much in your face. It is a discreat elegance. The people working there, were very very professional, very attentive to details and and a great sense of humor.

For me the mattress was a little too hard. But since it was just one night I could deal with it.

Everything. The rooms are spacious and clean and comfortable. The food was outstanding and so was the service.

    10AlessandroPosted on: 8-29-2023

The location is amazing, not only the small town but also the hotel structure and amenities. A special mention to the staff tha has been extremely generous and always keen to support us during our stay.

A beautiful building set in aged monastry gardens. Tastefully furnished .Small hotel with approx 11 rooms makes you feel like you are staying with a relative who is delighted to have you.

I cannot think of anything that would make it better.

    Passable

It did not function like a 5 star hotel, more like a restaurant with rooms although they charged 5 star rates! Staff were friendly enough but it felt like everything was an effort and it all turned roubd the restaurant

Very helpful and kind staff, recommended and booked a great dinner for us
