they gave our room to someone else and misbehaved with my family and threatened us to pay full amount and leave. When we said to call police and report about fraud then only they started behaving properly.

Very bad experience room are very small no facility nothing water problem in bathroom ,I am suggesting don't stay there

Disappointing Experience at Lidder View - Not Worth the MoneyI recently stayed at Lidder View for two days, including New Year's Eve, and was thoroughly disappointed with the experience. We paid a whopping 6500 bucks for our stay, which was already on the higher side considering it was a peak season.What was even more disappointing was the fact that we were not provided with dinner on New Year's Eve, unlike other guests who had booked directly with the hotel. We were only offered breakfast, and that too because we had booked through Booking.com. It seemed like we were being penalized for not booking directly with them.To make matters worse, when we asked the staff about celebrating New Year's Eve, they seemed completely uninterested. Unlike other resorts and hotels in the area, which had beautifully decorated their premises and organized bonfires and celebrations for their guests, Lidder View didn't even bother to put in any effort. And when we asked if they could arrange a bonfire for us, they had the audacity to ask us to pay extra for it! It's New Year's Eve, for crying out loud! Even cheaper hotels in the area were celebrating with their guests without charging them extra.The lack of effort from the staff was evident, and it seemed like they had abandoned their posts to celebrate their own New Year's Eve without caring about their guests. The resort doesn't even have its own kitchen to prepare meals, and we had to order from outside. The numbers they provided for ordering food were exorbitant, and the food itself was absolute rubbish.Considering the amount we paid, I expect a lot more from a hotel, especially during a peak season like New Year's Eve. Lidder View failed to deliver on even the basic aspects of hospitality, and I would not recommend it to anyone. There are much better options available in the area, and I would suggest avoiding this place altogether.

worst experience... no heater.... no restaurant, geyser doesn't works. broken windows... this hotel is not for suitable for any one because they does not provide basic amenities in winters the temperature reached at -17 degree. We booked this hotel from 05 to 08 January 2025 but due to above all problem we just stay there for 2 days and left the hotel.this hotel has policy of non refund therefore we have to bare the loss of remaining 2 day... I had the worst resort stay experience here in this resort. Didn't like it at all.

Location is ok

Non cooperative staff, overcharged for food which was not well cooked in dinner and breakfast, lack of cleanliness in dining room, less socets were available to charge phones, no hot water in wash basin

Nothing except the location

Everything. The rooms were not even close to the photos shared over Internet. There was no wash basin in the room. The room could accommodate only one king size bed . There was no space for luggage. All the wiring was left open putting everybody at risk. Overall, it had been a terrible experience. No way going to book anything from booking.com. No intercom. No wifi.

Liked the price

The place had an unpleasant odor and appeared unhygienic, likely not cleaned in years. There were numerous insects, the environment felt unsettling, and maintenance was severely lacking, especially in the bathrooms.

The property was decent for the price. Breakfast was good. Staff went out of the way to accommodate late breakfast. Room cleanliness was satisfactory. Property location was fine, and there was car parking space. Overall I will recommend this property.

Wifi speed can be improved. Room cleanliness could be a little better.

Riverside location

Rooms were musty and the one I was in was bit tight in space too. Staffs weren’t very accommodating either and I never got the receipt of my payment.

Unfortunately there wasn’t anything that stood out to me about the property. I particularly enjoyed nothing. My stay was disappointing.

We were looking forward to our stay at Lidder View resorts. The location was great. However, our room wasn’t cleaned very well and the photos deceived us. The room was smaller than expected, there was no ventilation (no fan, no AC), no electricity throughout the night, no generator backup, no space to store our luggage, the breakfast wasn’t as expected (we were charged 350/- just for a slice of hard bread and dry parathas) and basically nothing that a normal stay usually has. This made our stay very less comfortable.

The location of the property is the greatest attraction of the hotel

As it happened in the case of our last booking at Heritage House Boats, the facilities mentioned in the booking confirmation were no where to be seen once we checked in. Room is of very ordinary in size and facilities minimum..how can this below oar hotel be advertised by booking.com as 4 star is beyond our imagination.

The location, garden, trees and view are very good, proximity to the flowing river was awesome

Absolutely Horrible Experience – Avoid at all Costs!My stay at this property was an absolute nightmare. Here's a detailed account of my dreadful experience:1. Unprofessional Staff: From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly unprofessional. They lacked basic hospitality skills and was asking to pay the whole amount while checking in. My check-in process was chaotic , with no one offering any assistance or information about the facilities and they were smoking in front of us.They have called us and asked for booking amount even after it was being mentioned on this site that we haven’t to pay.! It was so horrible that we didn’t wanted to stay so they misbehaved with us and even started arguing.!2. Mishbehaviour: The behavior of the staff was appalling. They were rude, dismissive, and uncooperative. When I raised concerns about the cleanliness of my room, they shrugged it off and even mocked us.3.Unsafe for Females: As we were 4 female traveler’s, we all felt extremely unsafe throughout my stay. There were no security measures in place, and I noticed several shady individuals hanging around the premises at all hours. The lack of proper lighting in corridors and common areas only added to the sense of insecurity.4. Dirty: The property was filthy. My room was grimy, with stains on the bedding and dust everywhere. The bathroom was disgusting, with mold in the shower and a foul smell emanating from the drains. The common areas were equally dirty.5. Price Too High: For the deplorable conditions and poor service, the price was outrageously high. I felt completely ripped off, as the cost did not match the quality of accommodation provided.6. Haunted: To top it all off, the property had an eerie, unsettling vibe.And when we told them we didn’t want to stay they were not letting us go and asking for whole amount to be paid also I contacted the executive of booking.

a good service by aamir we really enjoyed there and will visit again, this resort has a big lawn we enjoyed there

The best thing is staff. Very helpful, very cordial. They tried best to make our trip wonderful.

The only problem is that food menu wasnt available so You cannnot order according to your choice. Biggest demerit.
