    Pros +

    • Friendly staff, great views and exclusive access to the beaches.
    • The location, the access to the beaches, and the hotel architecture.
    • Beautiful. Private beach, very good breakfast, nice rooms and very nice communicative people at the front desk.

    Cons -

    • It's a bit far and in a lonely part of the town. If you go to dinner and come back walking at night, it doesn't feel that safe. We were lucky that nothing happened to us, but walking at night to the hotel wasn't our favorite part of the experience.
    • At the check in, the staff handed me a three-page document with a lot of indications that were not very welcoming. You can provide the information, but in a nicer way.
    • For people who like to wake up early just the breakfast time should start little earlier

This place is my favorite one in Búzios, very convenient if you want to be by the beach, just be prepared to climb some steps, breakfast is the best, very welcoming stuff!! Super relaxing time.

Rooms are not updated but the view oversized it!

I really enjoyed my two night stay at this hotel. The staff was very professional and polite. The food at the restaurant was delicious. Breakfast was included in room price with fresh bread, fruits and hot items daily. Room was nice with a comfortable bed, a mini refrigerator; and a balcony with Seaview. Great hot water pressure in the shower. Beach access to São Fernando Beaches. I will definitely try to stay here again when I come to Búzios.

    That I couldn't stay longer.

Excellent location, beach side, fantastic views. Friendly hotel staff.

Very dated property. The glass patio doors would not lock in one of our rooms which made us feel unsafe. After it was eventually fixed the following day, the glass broke without warning. We were very lucky no one was seriously injured. The hotel staff were very good and changed rooms immediately.Breakfast was also very basic.

The location is really nice. The view is stunning. The staff is mostly friendly.

It's outdated property, which is in an urgent need of refurbishment. A moldy odour could be felt in the room, which was bothersome at night. Due to it, I had an allergic reaction. The other thing is that there are just too many steps which made walking around quite tiring, especially carrying the suitcases as no one helped us with. Breakfast was repetitive, lacking choices. By the last day, I felt quite disinterested.

Staff was just AMAZING. They did everything they could to make our stay the best stay possible. Having a private staircase to both Joao Fernandes and Joao Fernandinho cannot be overlooked, it is so nice to be that close to (in my opinion) the best two beaches in Buzios.

Breakfast was embarrassingly bad for a hotel that claims to be 4 stars. Brazil has arguably the best fruit in the world, and somehow the fruit in the breakfast had no taste and was not fresh at all. Interestingly, there's always this fruit salad that SOMEHOW has the same fruits that were available the day before. Obviously nobody touches this salad because they can tell it's old fruit. They had very little options in terms of cereal, pastry, and others. Also, no vegetable milk available. They only give you 1 key, which is inadmissible for the price you pay. I get that they offer you to leave the key at reception, but given that the safe in your room has a key, why would you leave your room key at reception when you still need to hold onto the safe key anyways? If i need to take care of a key, might as well take care of two.The balcony doors didn't fully close, which did not make us feel safe. Interestingly, they charge you extra to use the safe. They make you feel unsafe so you pay extra. I've never been asked to pay extra for this feature before. We also got the room with the hot tub, and were sad to find out that our room was very close to the others, and that the wall did not reach the top. The wall diving the rooms has 1.80m tops so if you are tall and you are standing close, you will have sight into your neighbors' hot tub. You can not only listen to everything they say but you can also see them on the reflection on the roof. DO NOT RENT THIS ROOM IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR PRIVACY.

Nothing. It is completely different from the add. Everything has been left without care

The animails running around the building , the lack of staff, the dirty between the tiles on the bathroon . the poor breakfast

    3CallumPosted on: 4-14-2024

The gardens were well kept but perhaps a little more attention on the hotel is needed

The breakfast was awfulThe cheese and ham was that sweaty it could walk itself out of the room Lots of ants in the room Staff were not very helpful or pleasant

    7SarahPosted on: 2-19-2024

Nice big room with sea view. Very clean. Nice breakfast in room overlooking pool and hills where you could sit next to large open windows. Nice internal courtyard and gardens.

A bit dated. Could use some modernisation/updating.

Complementary beach towels, beach seat and umbrella. The view.Activities on beach

Breakfast could improve, you had to pay for omellette or other prep on eggs... Beach did not have a private sector for hotel so you had many people around closeby you all the time... not romantic... fun for kids though.

    Location

This place shouldn’t be allowed to operate this way. The building is in critical need of repair. There is mould in the rooms and the equipment is very old.

    7JuliannaPosted on: 12-29-2023

Room had amazing view and was very comfortable

Hotel restaurant let’s it down a bit. the breakfast could have had more choice

    6KupekPosted on: 11-30-2023

Great location and the people at the hotel are super nice. Unfortunately we didn’t have hot water in the shower even after complaining it wasn’t fixed. The Wi-Fi is bad and so is the quality of the breakfast.

The quality of the breakfast food is poor. It has lots of option but not standard ingredients for a hotel so well located. Also the hot water in the shower didn’t work and even after complaining twice it wasn’t properly fixed.

    10SherazadePosted on: 10-16-2023

Amazing view to the beach and private stairs to reach it. The area is very safe and 10min away from the city center. Breakfast is great as well.

    10AngelicaPosted on: 9-26-2023

The rooms' views are beautiful. It was great feeling the ocean breeze from inside the room. The room was big and the beds were comfy. The hotel overall is nice, especially for families.
