La Pedrera Small Hotel & Spa

The place is beautiful with an amazing view of the mountains and the beach. The hot water pool was a great plus for us. Additionally, the staff were very helpful and provided great customer service.

Worms in tub and jacuzzi was not clean. When they came to clean they used a broom with soap to clean the tub, a broom! The tv did not work and the breakfast was mediocre. The staff were un helpful , did not answer complaints, and blamed uncleanly hotel on our check in time which was 3:30 pm and super reasonable , but regardless there should not be worms in a tub! The pool has also not been cleaned in a long time as there were many bugs and oils floating in it.

It is a beautiful boutique hotel with fabulous views, attentive staff and excellent spa.

The bathroom would benefit from upgrading. It was ok for us but the hotel is at the top of a steep hill, hence the fabulous views!

The view is gorgeous and a great location!

The breakfast has a schedule that doesn't meet the requirements for a tourist (For example, it starts at 7:30am and majority of tours start at 7am). The hotel should adapt to the tourist and the "fast breakfast" is suuuper basic. In our case, we had a problem with the air conditioner in our room, one day we arrived and the bed was completely wet because the air conditioner had a leak. The solution at that moment was for the personnel to change the mattress, the bedding and separate the bed from the wall, in that way we could have the air conditioner on and not get the bed wet again. The day before our check out all the pools were super turbid, you couldn't see the bottom.For us, what we paid didn't matched the expectations, we expected much more. + the personnel could be more friendly and they didn't speak Spanish, so the understanding was complicated.Also I saw garbage in places that shouldn't be!

The staff was super friendly and happy to help. They were super polite and always ready to answer our questions and requests.The hotel is located a bit further out from the main busy areas but still is an easy walk to most beaches. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet in the evenings!

The room we got was quite small so there wasn't much space to open our suitcases nor to dry out the wet swimming costumes. A few extra power outlets would have been appreciated to.

Spa treatments were very relaxing and the room was very comfortable.

Drinks were not great and a little overpriced.

The place is beautiful, the service is amazing from the time you walk in at the hotel. The hotel is nicely decorated, the breakfast is really good. The view is wonderful.

The room had an amazing view, the passionfruit caipirinhas were amazing, and the heated pool was a great way to finish the day.

The hotel is nice, parking available.

Room is small, safe box not working. Toilet is extremly small. You have to ask for wifi password, normally this is something you can find in the room or during checkin. No instruction on how to operate the TV with 2 different remote controllers. There is no blackout curtain so the light comes in early the morning. THough is only 10 mins walk to the beach but be aware that it is down slope so be prepared to walk upslope when return

Staff was great, breakfast great, octopus lunch outstanding. Great views from rooms. Be prepared to walk up & down hills to beach and many stone stairs to view rooms. Location near the beach & DT area. Public areas lovely. Great to have a spa on the premises. Massages were very good & reasonable.

Decking needed some upkeep. Rooms are very simple. Also, definitely need to offer free water in the rooms as walking 60-90 stairs to rooms at night w/o replenished water was really a drag!!

The view from the pool, the spa was really good, the personal was really nice

The pool areas are 10/10. The views from the restaurant and pools are amazing. Loved the spa - had a wonderful massage here. Staff very friendly and helpful. It’s a bit of a walk uphill/downhill to the beach and the restaurants but we quite liked the exercise and the peacefulness.

The hotel rooms are a bit unloved and basic. We had to move rooms because we originally were given a room with a very old bathroom which did not feel clean. This hotel could be a top 4 star if they did some maintenance and updating in the rooms and included a few nice touches. Air con machine was very very loud.

We told the hotel (even days before arriving) that we were staying one day less because our flight had been changed and they made us pay the whole stay anyway (we paid in cash) explaining that they would give us the money from the last night back once they talked to their supervisors. I asked them when they were giving us our money back every day that I stayed in the hotel and they always pushed the issue aside or said that they would soon transfer it. This never happened, we still dont have our money. The cleaning was not very deep and they sometimes forgot to give us towels and shampoo.

The friendly staff were excellent, with tasty food and Caipirinhas.Great views. Walking distance to Centro a lot of great shopping!

The bathroom drains were a little smelly. If you air the room out, the smell disappears.

Great location and view from up on the hills but convenient enough to easily walk to all the local hot spots. Spa treatment was delightful.

Wi-Fi worked well in the restaurant but not in my room

Lovely view, excellent breakfast with lots of choices, the hot pool, kind and friendly staff.

A little bit of noise from the construction work at the moment.
