- Incredible views and location. Room was perfect and just as pictured, really good showers and comfortable bed. The complex was perfect to explore with 2 big pools and beautiful decking and gardens. Would definitely come again
- Junior Suite large & comfortable. Good air con and comfortable bed. Large lounge with small wall mounted smart TV. Nice balcony lovely view. Good breakfast and homemade cakes. Pleasant staff only one spoke English. One Nice pool. Wi fi ok
- There's no possible photo to make any justice to the place. The rooms are confy and little, but that doesn't compare with the service level and not exagerating, the most outstanding view that you'll have from an hotel in your life. The surprise was instant. A detail is that was our option on last minute and wasn't really expensive at all. It's constructed over a morro where You can SEE both suns, the rising and the sunset, but specially the sunset. My God that sunset, with mountains emerging from the ocean and the sun melting between them around five o'clock in the afternoon, every f*cking day. What's escorted with a team that it's always at the level on every situation. Every member is complemented by the strengths of each other, I personally interacted with several of them and they always gave their best. My thanks to Marcio, Leandro, Pericles and specially Gabriel! On my subjective opinion is the best 4 stars hotel that you can get on Paradise. (Buzios is no less than that, for several things that doesn't come to place.)
Cons -
- The property being renovated so bit noisey and the second pool had work going on at the terrace. Junior Suite large Spartan furnishing only sofa and small TV. Nice to have had coffee table & side lamp and larger TV - noted it rained for a few days hence comment re TV . I had read it was on hill and it is up steep cobbled hill with no path. Best to use Uber as cheap to get about.
- The good of the staff can be also the weakest point, they're prepared for the maximum level of service, I get a very tiny little inconfortable being called senhor and see them so worried about everything that they looked a little tense. It cost me nothing to make them feel relaxed and seeing other consumers exigencies (and some also a bit disrispectful) i understood why they're so exigent with their service level. Anyways, everything was great. The location can be a little exigent on foot, but once you get used to walk the morro up and down a few times, would love the experience.
- It is lacking some fine working The window in our room needed some attention Sauna is not working One of the swimming pools is currently under some renovation

This is a beautiful, peaceful hotel with a gorgeous view. I loved the balcony, the pool, and the breakfast. The staff are also so kind and friendly.
Staff were fantastic in helping and advising things to do. No ask was too big whilst at the hotel, Great effort in making your visit relaxing and luxury. The view was fantastic and the facilities well cared for.
The size of the room and the view Breakfast I booked in advance, so I am happy for the price I paid
It is lacking some fine working The window in our room needed some attention Sauna is not working One of the swimming pools is currently under some renovation
location staff bedroom views
need some supervision before guests arrival. there was always something missing in the room . hot water and toilet paper at the arrival , towels the following day. but they were quick solving all problems
Good breakfast, good bed
Service, receptionistThe receptionist took 45 mins to check us in, although we were the only guests he had at the time. He was super slow in general; the safe box didn’t work, we called for help, no one came; we went to sauna with our 5 year old and asked for an extra towel (as our towel allowance was used up for beach), they wanted to charge us 10 real more - quite bad
STAY AWAY! CRIMINALS work here!
STAY AWAY! One of their staff members actuelly hit me and I had to report them to the police! This is not a safe place to stay!
The view is superb!!! Awesome room with an amazing jacuzzi. The stuff is lovely. We had great time. Good music and vibes at the pool. I really liked to play ping pong.
I did not like the time service took. We ordered cocktails and it took more then 30 minutes to prepare. The swimming pool was not super clean, there was some dirt on the bedsheets.
The view. The area (itself. Not the cleanness neither the feeling)
The team is clearly unprepared and it seems like there’s no training for them. I asked in advanced to not be disturbed with any problem we could face like things not working, and so on, because we were facing a very hard moment in our family and we just wanted to relax. They agreed and said everything would be ok...When I got there, the lady on the reception didn’t know a single thing about my reservation: neither if I requested an extra bed for my daughter nor the type of the room I booked: her solution? Upgrade us into a +6 higher class room (without having power to do so). The result? We had to change into 3 different rooms and two of them were dirty: a large mark of pee on the floor or one, and on the other room, we found a clogged toilet, with 3 marks of pee under the seat and the duvet were SO stinky, like 30 sweated men had used it for a month! Disgusting! To sum up, the next day we had to move everything again (tons of bag with a child) to another room to downgrade back to what we reserved because they said they were full for the weekend... BUT IF WE WERE WILLING TO PAY... they could find a better price... They were lying into our face in so many times and ways that I could stay all night long writing here! Not to mention the piece of a broken glass on the floor around the pool that my husband stepped on it when we were there playing with our 3yo daughter- thank God he didn’t injure!Apart from that, for the lovers of a good breakfast: breads were not fresh. Result of our time to feel better and relaxed after graving our baby boy: we went home on Friday instead of Sunday! Thanks for disappointing us so much. Never going back.
We got an upgrade after checkin which was appreciated. Breakfast was good, pool was good and bed was comfortable. The shower was the best of the whole Brazil trip.Look and feel of overall location is quite nice, well painted, etc. Most friendly staff member of the whole hotel was the F&B employee.
I would say it is overpriced (R$1580/night around NYE). Even with having the suite that feeling didn’t really go. The gym is outdated with very old materials and no notable maintenance. The sauna/steam cabine didn’t appear to be functional, but also didn’t invite for using. There was some construction going on on the side, so this might improve.A weird thing is, that all rooms have a keycard system but you get a tiny key with which you open the door and you also need it on the inside to actually open the door when you want to go out. General feeling is, that it possibly broke down/got too expensive and investments are low. Can’t really get my head around it.Lastly, perhaps we asked the wrong question, but knowledge of the staff on what you can do in Buzios was experienced as limited.
