Casas Brancas Boutique Hotel & Spa

This is a special place. The location is perfect — close enough to the city center to walk but far enough for peace and quiet. The decor and architecture is stunning. The breakfast was delicious. The staff was incredibly helpful and thoughtful in every way.

Our room could’ve been cleaned slightly more each day, there was some trash that wasn’t collected. I was also slightly let down by the two hotel restaurants, but they were still worth trying.

Beautiful hotel: views, architecture, details. Excellent breakfast and the dining experience at 74 is really special.

My room was super noisy, not only from the streets but I suspect we were close to the pool heating equipment which made a lot of noise early in the morning. Woke us up every day during our stay. Also, the rooms are not as nicely decorated as the rest of the hotel.

The outside of property is gorgeous. Lobby, pool, restaurant, all amazing. Restaurant 75 was top notch. Food was excellent and the staff everywhere in the hotel was accommodating and very quick!

The room we were in smelled very very musty. It was mediocre For the cost. The photos online got Todd room did not match the room we got however The bed was very comfortable.

The Presidential Suite had a Jacuzzi tub because it had jets. It wouldn't work and even sent maintenance to fix. It could not be fixed. Then hotel staff tell me it isn't a Jacuzzi tub but a soaker tub. Full Gaslighting & putting back on me that Booking.com did not say it was a jacuzzi tub. Nonsense & took no responsibility for the situation. It has jets and an "On" button, of which even the maintenance man tried to fix! It's a Jacuzzi tub! And in the top tier room the hotel has. Zero accountability. Also, the hotel is a bit run down. Dead plants, bad & rotten wood. This hotel needs attention!

The staff was excellent, always willing to make sure your stay was comfortable. The property was in a great location, very clean, access to the ocean and local beaches were great.

Our stay at Casas Brancas was fantastic! Very nice hotel and facilities, and very friendly and helpful staff. We loved the breakfast with the amazing ocean view. The room was clean and huge, great gym and yoga for options to work out, spa for a relaxing massage as well as two nice on-site restaurants. We also got a pick up from and to Rio arranged by the hotel which we can highly recommend. Thanks for making our stay so memorable!

The location is great with an exceptional view, especially at sun set. The team is incredible, full of attention. The breakfasts were superb!

The view from the room, swimming pool area, and restaurant is amazingly beautiful. Breakfast is fantastic with excellent choices and fresh. And, finally, the location is great affording beautiful views of the ocean and within walking distance to Buzios downtown area.

Casas Brancas is the kind of place that makes you immediately feel at home, but in the most beautiful, dreamlike way possible. From the moment we arrived, everything was just so well thought out—every little detail, every cozy corner, and every interaction felt genuine and special. You can tell the people here love what they do, and that energy makes all the difference.The staff was fantastic—warm, friendly, and always one step ahead, making sure everything was perfect. A huge shoutout to the teams at 74 Restaurant and 74 OSTERIA, who not only served amazing food but also made every meal feel like part of the experience.We came for our honeymoon, and these five days have truly been the highlight of our trip. Casas Brancas is the kind of place that sticks with you, and honestly, Búzios is worth visiting just to stay here. Already dreaming of coming back!

Great location. Fantastic views. The breakfast is exceptional. Staff are all attentive - especially the lady at breakfast, she was a delight.

We loved Casas Brancas!! The level of service and attention to detail was exceptional. The design and location are amazing.

Our only recommendation is that all restaurant/bar servers should have a basic level of English, which is expected for a 5 star hotel, especially in a country where the native language is spoken by less than 4% of the world's population.

Everyone is so kind, very well located and with a special view, so you can be in the best area of Buzios, but at same time, completely out, in a very pleasant space, restaurant and bar, in a swimming pool all together! Really amazing!

Shower was not working great with little to no hot water

Amazing view, amazing food and staff! The hotel is beautiful, the room has in clean, comfortable and cute. The spa was very nice, not just the massage, but the team the pool and staff.

Suite 21 - Excellent view and comfort. Be aware of the 70 steps on the stairs to reach the street (Orla Bardot)

The toilet reservoir takes a while to fill in, probably because suite 21 is on the top level. Expensive!

Impeccable excellent service by all members, beautiful boutique hotel, fabulous location.

Shower cubicles are a little dated and didn’t close properly, maybe new corner shower cubical. Would have liked tea and coffee facilities in the room.

The sunsets from this hotel are wonderful . The staff are great and very accommodating and polite ! Breakfast was delicious ! Also it’s located in town so you can walk to restaurants and stores really easy.Also close to Brava beach by car where you can eat at Rocka restaurant which is really good .

My room was the suite number 30 which was not a good location around that area there was a horrible water noise like waterfall around 5 am, super loud, I think was the water being filled out in their reservoir . So try avoiding rooms on that side which are numbers 30,31, 28,29 etc..Also I didn’t like the food at their 74 restaurant , they don’t serve much, it wasn’t very good, and it was costly for the amount we got .

Outstanding days, with incredible view, perfect location really close to “Rua das Pedras” And unforgettable breakfast.
