Gran Hotel Bali & Spa

Location and view are excellent.

Rooms, Bathrooms, balconies elevators, hallways, entrance floors all are dirty. Bedding and linens poor quality, refrigerator with no racks and full of mold. Air conditioner. Breakfast most items cold, coffe machines not enough for so many people. Food quality poor. Poor overall value for what you charge. This hotel is very outdated and obsolete.Reception personnel very indifferent with guest complaints. I personally ask over 10 different guest on the elevators how happy they were with their rooms and the overall response was that they were all very disappointed.

The hotel is beautiful inside and out, the pool area is lovely to use and the breakfast was tasty and plentiful.

The check in procedure took a long time.

Good food and modern facilities

The staff especially the woman at the gym was rude and zero accommodating, like we're bothering her with our wish to go to the spa. She should be fired. Mitde variety of the food would've been nice. Kinda basic. And no watermelon in summer, what the hell. The arcade gaming machines are broken, the steering wheels are basically unusable and the screens are so old that the brightness is super low which forces you to stand up to get a better angle at it HOWEVER they warn to NOT stand up. They should fix these things or warn customers that they're broken.

Everyone was polite, friendly, and professional.

All the TV stations were in Spanish language. Please consider at least one in Portuguese and one in English. You have many guests that speak both of these languages who I am sure would appreciate.

Hotel is very clean, tidy and the beds are comfy. Bathroom is to a very high standard.Roof top bar and the views are incredible.

Buffet style breakfast was very poor quality. Had a ham and cheese toastie as was the only thing that was reasonable. Very poor quality bacon, sausages and hashbrowns. Shame as the hotel overall is brilliant just the breakfast is a let down

Beautiful hotel in a lovely area of Benidorm surrounded by great bars and restaurants the staff in the hotel we very helpful and friendly also great value for money

Location, near to the beach, the view,staff was polite and helpful,clean room.

Maybe the only downside was the recession, just too small. Not the staff,just the area ,where could be served and had to wait a bit.

The views, the food, both very good.

During our stay there was very little amenities in the room. Two teabags and a used and battered kettle. We called down to reception to enquire about getting some milk and coffee for the room. We were spoken to in a very rude and abrupt manor. For the amount we had paid for the room, we were told that in order to get milk and coffee for the room we would have to pay extra and upgrade to a suite. We had booked this for a special occasion and were met with unpleasantness. We would not be booking to stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone.

Problems with the elevators, queues of waiting people, waiting time more than 20 minutes every day.I paid for a double bed, but I got a room with 2 single beds.

We asked for a high floor and was given an excellent room on floor 41. The room and balcony was very big and the views all the way to Calpe and beyond were fantastic.The staff are very helpful and friendly. We have stayed here twice and would probably stay again. It's a fair walk to the old town, about 45 minutes walking slowly but taxis are available, but we enjoy walking so no problem.

I feel unhappy to say this (because the staff are excellent, but the food isn't great. It's adequate but other Benidorm hotels we have stayed at have had much better food.

Ok not really 4* to básico everything cheap from room to breakfast i rate 3* expected better

The hotel was great on 29th floor thank you great views room was very nice

Breakfast notall ways hot some of the fruit not ripe on most mornings tea not that hot. Could do with Iron and kettle would be nice

Time table on inside pool only 1 hr on wellness spa at the time and hard to get times

Check in was very slow.Lifts extremely slow.Spa was nice but not worth 20 euros per person.

People were slow and arrogant . Waited 30 mins behind 1 coupleJust to check in - to an unmade scruffy room .Had to come back down wait again / complain and waste time . Horrendous place never again

Spacious rooms, basic but lovely sea views.

The lift to the higher floors took me 40 minutes because of other people calling the lift.. every time the wait was horrific as there is only four lifts …. It was a huge problem because who wants to walk 30 floors up..

Passable

Despite the online check-in that was offered for faster accommodation, we waited 20 minutes at the reception. The receptionist kept repeating: 'If you're lucky, it will happen'. Unacceptable for a hotel with such a reputation and four stars.

despite being a help yourself breakfast it was often cold and slow to restock the items as like most hotels the toaster took about 4 goes to get bread slightly toasted lol and at the busiest times tables slow to get cleared I will stay at hotel again but not take the breakfast or food option
