The hotel has several notable shortcomings. At breakfast, there was no meat available except pork, which is quite limiting. The rooms are small and even lack basic items like a toilet brush. There is also no garage—only an outdoor parking area, including disabled spots, which they charge as if it were a proper garage. On the positive side, the staff is excellent: friendly, professional, and always helpful.

The rooms were clean

Never a 4 star, reception requests had to be asked for several times, hardly ever any pool towels even though there was no one using them around the pool, bath towels very small

The breakfast buffet was good

We asked for ice cubes and they wanted to charge us 1 euros for 2 ice cubes!There was also a 4 euro daily charge for the in-room safe.

It was very clean spotless. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The beds are exceptionally comfortable. Breakfast was 9 out of 10.

There is nothing that you can say about the hotel what was wrong? We had Sun all day around the pool.The electric went off, but that’s not the hotels fault and we still add backup generators and other hotels did not

The location is good plenty of bars and restaurants near

The shower floor is quite slippery after a shower with the body wash so you do need to be careful one simple answer the hotel should provide non slip mats for saftey

It was in a good location near to everything , very clean ,rooms were good with comfy beds ,plenty of sun beds around pool and sun trrrace , food good something there for all , enjoyed our stay , couldn’t fault the hotel

Lifts there are only 2 small lifts one kept breaking down, at meal times it's a nightmare, to checkout we had to carry all our bags down 3 flights of stairs after waiting 30 mins for a lift with room to take us very disappointed

Good location. Bright clean rooms.Great shower. Lovely big mugs for tea in your room but charged extra to replenish teabags/ milk.Good choice for breakfast. Big pool with lots of sun loungers.

Rooms a little bit small. There is no hand rail or slip mat in the shower. Lifts too small for the number of guests using them. Only one lift working which caused long delays. Spent 10 minutes waiting to get to breakfast. Staff cleared breakfast food away before 10.30 and always felt like they wanted you out. Having my 87-year-old mother with me meant we were spending long periods of time trying to get into a lift. Safes should be free of charge.

Great location.

Very dated, air-conditioning didn't worked,was blowing, but not cooling, shower been leaking. In overall room was OK.Dinner menu in buffet was rubbish, breakfast was great tho. Staff tried to sell carpark for 15€ a day, funny that we arrived 8pm and left 11am,still they wanted to charge for full days knowing that 20 meters away was free street parking... was very disappointed tbh. Definitely not 4*, but not very bad too... wouldn't stay there again for sure.

I like this property as it’s nice and central. The staff are lovely and would do anything for you. Food was lovely and place was lovely and clean.

Perfect location for being close to the beach and bars without having to live in the middle of the noise.

Lifts were slow and only one available for a while.

We have, over the years, stayed at Hotel Regente many times ( as well as other hotels as we've lived nr. Gandia for 20 years and enjoy short breaks in Benidorm). We like the location, the common areas and find the rooms comfortable.

What we have found on previous visits ( but never commented about) was the problem with TV remotes not working properly. Some people may find this a silly thing to comment on but as we do live here we do keep an eye on current affairs and watch TV in the late evening before going to bed. HOWEVER this time we were very disappointed about the maintainance side of things. We needed to have the stow away bed put away as it was taking up alot of space and as I am slightly disabled, I need the space. It took 3 x visits to reception to get it sorted after an initial promise of a 10 minute wait for the problem to be sorted and in the end took about 4 hours. ANOTHER BIG PROBLEM was that out of the 2 x lifts available to all floors one was out of order for 1/2 of our stay and being on the 7th floor it was no fun. We either had to walk up the stairs or wait a very long time to use the lift. The lift has a company that hve a 24hr call out service but they never came. For people with disabilities ( like me), babies in pushchairs and older people, it just wasn't acceptable. Everyone knows that having a lift available is part of what your daily rate is. If you rent a property here in Spain a home with a lift is far more expensive than one without. The difference being at least 200€ per month for 2 x similar properties in town. I would hope that customers can receive compensation to reflect this.

The placing of the hotel was in a really good spot of Benidorm , quiet and not to far from the strip

Good location. Modern hotel with smart rooms & friendly helpful staff. Great choice of food at breakfast and dinner and of good quality.

Room was very comfortable, very quiet and very clean. Generally the quality of food was excellent. Very professional and attentive staff.

My only slight issue was the quality of the English sausages and the weak coffee in the restaurant. For everything else, including variety and quality of food, attentiveness of staff was excellent.
