Hotel Servigroup Venus

We have stayed here many times and as a group of middle aged male friends the Venus is very welcoming because not all groups of friends are idiots.Thank you for accommodating a group of long standing friends on a 60th celebration 5 stars.

Hotel a bit tired

It was in a good location. Not too noisy. Clean.

Toilet door in room had no lock and the door was frosted glass with a gap each side

Excellent location, friendly helpful staff, food is lovely. Ideally located close to cafe Benidorm which most people go to at the end of the evening. Stayed before and happy to stay again.

Some Rooms a bit small but the bathroom door is very odd, like a public toilet door. Still wouldn’t stop me staying here though.

The staff were warm, friendly and welcoming. They were absolutely fantastic when we lost our room keys. The rooms were spacious, clean and tidy. Could not have asked for a more perfect hotel.

The walls are a little thin meaning you could hear most of what people next door were saying but didnt have an effect on our stay

The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming, the hotel was clean and the hotel rooms were brilliant value for money. Will definitely be back next year

Lovely property in a great area

No air con in November and was so hot in bedroom, we had to wedge open door all night to let some air in

Location rooms very clean.

1 staff at reception while two were talking had to wait 20 minutes to be seen the one reception staff was of the phone working very hard.

While this hotel is very good and the staff are unbelievably friendly & helpful my issue with this chain is payments, this is the reason for my poor rating. On booking via Booking.com (it is the same for other sites) you get an email from a “company” informing you that you have to log into a webpage to make a payment for the 1st night or you booking will be cancelled. MY ISSUE IS ON BOOKING.com AND MANY OTHER SITES IT SAYS “DO NOT CLICK ON ANY LINKS OR MAKE A PAYMENT OUTSIDE OF THE PORTAL YOU BOOKED”. This is due the proliferation of FAKE websites where you make a payment and either your bank account is emptied due to fraud. So my advice is as DO NOT BOOK ON ANY WEBSITE FOR SERVIGROUP as you will have to pay on a website that you do NOT know who they are or where the email came from. I tried to explain my concerns at reception but regretfully my comments were “lost in translation” DON’T DO IT OR YOU COULD LOSE A LOT MORE THAN YOUR BOOKING!!!!!!!!

The cleaner must of taken my fred perry top in with the washing, towels, never too be seen again

The location was excellent, the property was modern and comfortable and the staff were very friendly.

Air conditioning in the room only pumped out hot air so had to sleep at night with the balcony door open for air and the noise was a bit much at times. Were there with friends and all rooms had the same issue.
