    Pros +

    • We have just returned from a family holiday 5 days in April 2025 with my wife and X2 kids aged 10&13. Our expectations from the other reviews of the hotel were low, however we were very pleasantly surprised. The location is excellent it's near the beach, bars, shops and cafes of both the old and new town.We found our room comfortable, clean and spacious. We had a fridge, Smart TV, hairdryer and all the usual facilities you'd expect. The room had two double beds and sofa with tea/coffee making facilities. To our surprise the fridge was restocked every day with cans of fizzy drinks, beer and bottle of wine (as part of the all inclusive). The maids cleaned our room every day with fresh sheets and towels. We found all the toilet facilities in the hotel clean and well maintained. The pool is semi covered, this was the main reason we booked the hotel with the unpredictable weather at this time of year, so the kids could still go swimming. There's a small splash pad with slides for younger children. Loads of sun beds and we always found some in the sun or shade depending on what we needed. There's also a pool bar with drinks and bar snacks (the measures are good ?).This hotel appears to be the smallest of the Magic Hotel chain in Benidorm. But we found this an advantage,.as our kids could navigate the hotel and it felt comfortable and safe. There are X2 restaurants with a reasonable selection of fresh salads, meat, pasta, rices dishes etc. breakfast was the usual English Breakfast range of sausage, bacon, beans etc. with toast, pastries and fruit. There's beer, wine and soft drinks available here also.Again to our surprise we had free access to the other hotels with a free shuttle bus service to transport you there and back. We used X2 of these hotels magic rock gardens and tropical splash for the slides and bigger pools which we really enjoyed.
    • Great location & got use of other hotels (magic Robin Hood , magic splash & magic rocks) so although pool not amazing here could visit others which was amazing
    • Location, sun roof and games room for kids

    Cons -

    • The majority of the staff were polite, kind and helpful. However we did struggle with a few in terms of the English/Spanish language barrier. We wanted advice about where to pick up the shuttle bus for the medieval night but the receptionist didn't understand, just gave up and started helping another guest. Eventually we managed to speak to another member of staff who was able to point us in the right direction. This may be a failure on our part with broken poor Spanish, but it was frustrating. No balconies, but again we know this before booking. The hotel is a little tired, with some basic things that could be updated, like decor. The tables and chairs in the bar and restaurants are looking a bit shabby, compared with the other Magic Hotels we attended. Little things like the range of fruit available and how they are presented. Again compared to the other Magic Hotels we went to. This is being quite petty but these things do make a difference to the overall stay.
    • No internet (I know it’s not a necessity) but useful for teenage kids . No outdoor pool , only one on roof under apex
    • Dirty towels, no water, no electric, dated decor, paint peeling in bathroom

The location Most of the staff at the restaurant were very helpful as we needed Halal option at the buffet

They need to work more about the cleanness of the plates and offer more Halal options on the food

    Good location

Room was old and dated, shower didnt work properly, matress was grubby, balcony door would not lock, food was very poor quality to the point we didnt eat anything, all inclusive drinks were poor quality, staff unhelpful during our late arrival with no help with food or drink availability. There was also a fire in the kitchen and the fire alarms didnt go off. Over all a very bad hotel

    Locations was good

Food was not good Lifts was really bad took ages to get up and down Hotel has a funny smell

    8LaurahPosted on: 2-10-2025

The hotel itself was really good value for money. A little dated, however very clean and very well maintained. The location was great too, 5/10 minute walk to the beach and shops/bars/restaurants.

The food wasn’t great, it was edible but wasn’t the best. There wasn’t much choice, it was very repetitive both lunch, dinner and late evening.

    7GaryPosted on: 2-8-2025

Balcony in room, roof terrace, choice of drinks

Food choice could be improved, shower gel empty,

Very clean, lovely food, nice friendly staff.

    Slow lifts at peak times.

    9CollierPosted on: 1-30-2025

Great value, all inclusive 2 night stay, good range of bars, very clean, good food

Pool could be a little warmer, wasn't told to bring passports luckily we had the thought to bring them with us as we live in Spain

    9BarbaraPosted on: 1-16-2025

Very reasonably priced. All the Reception staff were courteous and helpful. The waiter who was in the Granada Restaurant the first few days of my stay is very professional and ensured everything was in order.

Nothing in particular. It is great value for the price.

    6JackiePosted on: 12-3-2024

Good location some very friendly staff , clean

Good was disgusting especially breakfast also had premium band but bar staff were serving the cheaper drink apart from one going barman who was a delight throughout friendly and helpful at all times. Shower also did not work every time

    8GaryPosted on: 11-5-2024

Everything was exactly what I was expecting , clean , decent food … both quality and variety … good location .

Excessive queuing at bar , lack of staff and a VIP priority queue exaggerated the waiting …. I know you’ll not be surprised to read that as it was the main complaint I heard throughout the stay .

    8GeraldPosted on: 11-4-2024

The hotel offers a range of entertainment from late night shows, games room, children play pool and many more activities.

    Very crowded

    7MaryPosted on: 11-2-2024

For the money we paid it was good value. Food was okay , drinks were good, rooms basic but fine.

    Hotel was dated.

    5MichaelPosted on: 10-31-2024

    location and staff

    lift problems, a little overcrowded.

    3MargaretPosted on: 10-11-2024

The room was cleaned daily with fresh towels.

Didn’t get the room I booked but reception weren’t bothered. Food is mass cooking and not very good. Doors need to be banged shut so noisy. Difficult if you have limited mobility, long corridors and steps to get to the rooms.

    5MargaretPosted on: 10-11-2024

Clean room and we actually got the room we booked which none of our friends achieved. Housekeeping daily.

Queues at the bar. Food was passable but often tasteless. Reception very very slow and long queues.
