Hotel Madeira Centro

Ive stayed at this hotel a few times.Its always pleasant, in a good location and the staff are polite, the rooms are good as is the restaurant.We asked to extend our checkout time due bad weather and this wasnt a problem.Always a pleasant atmosphere.

The location and the roof top bar. Great facilities.

Pool a little small for the amount of guests. No kettle for tea facilities and no bottle water in room.

Lovely friendly staff. Good choice of food at breakfast. Very clean in all areas. Central position.

Inside pool was nice, although the room was too hot and there wasn’t any air. The breakfast was good and all servants were friendly. The view from upper floors is amazing.

Our room was not so well cleaned. It was noisy, we heard everything what neighbours do.

The cleanliness was excellent, the breakfast offered a good selection and the staff are lovely. The rooms are cleaned every day unless you leave the note on your door handle to say do not disturb. The location of this hotel is the best you can get, your in walking distance to Levante beach, Poniente beach, the old town and your on the doorstep of Mediterranean avenue. The hotel room itself is large with a huge sofa and a double bed with a really firm comfortable mattress. There is a good size balcony with fantastic views of the sea and mountains. The en-suite is modern and super clean with a powerful shower and two different heads to choose from and lots of hot water. You have a kettle and mugs, a large tv and a small fridge. Lots of space to hang clothes. I will definitely be back.

The English TV channels keep losing their signal, this lasts about an hour then seems to get better. The time of evening dinner is 8pm, that's very later for us Irish ?

Breakfast was really good, excellent selection pf pastries, hot food and others was provided. The tables were cleared quickly and food was replenished as soon as it was low.The room was nice and big with a nice big balcony overlooking the town and bay.

The bed was a little soft for me but that is just my personal preference, also the lifts were very busy and a bit slow so you had to let some go past as you couldn't get in them

Hotel was very well accommodated Some bits in the room could do with a update As in shower looks a bit on the dated side Breakfast was really good Hotel and grounds are very well kept Would recommend Thanks again

Fabulous hotel , great central location for both the Old and New Town. Our room on the 19th floor had fantastic panoramic sea views. Bonus for us was the very reasonablely priced on site car park . The room was immaculately clean. The staff, including the 2 lovely cleaning ladies were very welcoming. All in all a fantastic stay.

The location was good, the staff on reception were very good

The breakfast was poor the cooked food was cold and when my wife spoke in Spanish to the staff they did not seem to do anything about it . Great shame the hotel is a nice hotel but we will not be returning.

I went for the location as can’t walk very far and also the indoor pool

They didn’t have any Asian food at all not in my 28 days at staying there all only one entertainment a week

It was clean, friendly staff & in a good location. Our view from the balcony was really good.

One of the beds were noisy when you sat on it or turned over in the night.The lift was sometimes slow, our friends were on floor 11 and we were on 17, when we went from their floor to ours it went down the ground level.

The hotel rooms were nice, big and modern. Bathroom was also really nice and large. There were lots of facilities at the hotel but some were not open due to the season I am guessing (such as the roof top bar).

Unfortunately a maid knocked and walked straight in our room at 9am in the morning which startled me and my friend as we were asleep. It was 3 hours before checkout so not sure why they wanted to clean our room at that hour. It would have been nice to have time to answer the door ourselves instead of the maid seeing us in our beds which was a bit of an invasion of privacy. Also, there was a really strong cleaning / air freshener smell throughout the whole hotel and in the rooms, which was quite overpowering.

Great location, Lovely room and view, Comfy bed, Brilliant Power Shower, Friendly Staff.Good selection of Food for Breakfast and Evening meal.Good WiFi.Thank you to Staff for giving me the position of room I had previously requested, pity the Weather didn’t play its part.We sent my daughter Photos of the room and she was intrigued why the City Landscape Wallpaper has been put on upside down, Reception staff laughed but didn’t know - can anyone explain lol.

Only negative- as an elderly couple we do like to watch TV. The choice of English channels is very poor and for all the Technology in 2025 the English channels weren’t picking up a signal so we were unable to watch them

Location was great. Food was very good but lacked dishes like curries and paella to name two

Entertainment not good . Catered for Spanish non hotel guests to dance . Guests were expected to purchase drinks to stay in the lounge. BBC TV only work half the time. No ITV at all

Great location. We had a lovely balcony with a nice view of the sea and surrounding area. Staff were very friendly.

We were a family of 8. I didn't bring my passport and wouldn't let me stay there. My children stayed there I paid 550 pounds for 2 nights and was told if I don't leave immediately the police will be called

They were so rude. It was dirty and the food was so awful that even my grandchildren wouldn't eat there.I went to a hotel next door called the Bellroy it was magnificent. I gave my driving licence and told the Bellroy staff what the front desk put me through. They were horrified that a grandma was treated like that. Very bad experience. They spoke to me disgustingly. Ruined my weekend
